I just saw Depeche Mode last night in Seattle WA for this first time in my life. It was the best show I have ever seen. Martin Gores guitar playing and sound was so incredible. He had a different tone for each song. Now I know how he did it with out pedals. Thank you so much for doing this bts interview. Truly inspiring.
Jez worked with the Mission - then the Sisters Of Mecy - then Depeche. He may have worked with the SOM pre-Mission too. Back in the early Mission days he was quite the celeb! Nice guy.
If I had to guess, flat wounds . Could be round with some tone rolled off. But I usually don’t hear any sliding and it’s a rather warm organic gretsch sound
@@Dr.Jekyll Same here. I think in the US some people learn it in school and can't stop talking like that, but it's not a typical way for Americans to speak at all.
