It’s a shame that Despicable Me lost its subtlety and deep emotion as soon as the sequel came out. I mean, they literally had the perfect set up for an overarching villain with Vector’s dad. They could’ve revealed that he was trying to get revenge on Gru by hiring villains like El Macho and Balthazar Brat, or even just showing more of the Villain Bank. Seriously, why did they just forget about all this?
The Minion shorts reminds me when Disney used to make the Pixie Preview short films to promote the Tinker Bell movies from the late 2000's to the mid 2010's, only not as charming as those. I'm not saying that they're completely garbage, but I don't have much of a nostalgic recollection of them (the Minions shorts) outside of a certain few and that was it. I mean, remember the Tinker Bell movies? I loved them so much as well as the shorts that came with it!
Training Wheels is really an amazing and adorable short in my opinion, I would love for another short film that features Margo, Edith, and Agnes. And did I mention that Margo, Edith, and Agenes are my favorite characters? Yep.
That weenie thing is from the first Secret Life of Pets when the two main dogs get high after eating a bunch of wieners at a factory they invade. I feel absolutely awful that I can remember this…
3 of these Minion shorts were available on the Despicable Me 2 disc, before each one starts, they’re narrated by Gru. I mostly remember the “Panic In The Mailroom” intro, where Gru says “Tgis was originally called ‘Picnic In The Mailroom,’ which showed the minions eating sandwiches on a blanket then napping for 10 minutes. Trust me, this is way better.”
The first Minions movie is one of the movies I regret seeing in theater when it came out, alongside a Live-action Disney movie and a parody movie that turn out to be unfunny.
Great idea Illumination! Make shorts with random stuff about the Minions instead of developping the girls and their mother's relation. It's much more interresting to see thoses yellow creatures being stupid and unfunny than a cute family. No need for creativity and fun, just be lazy! Seriously, this is a terrible idea. Minions are not adorable or funny, a bit entertaining but most of the time they are so annoying 🙄

I will never know how the hell these guys got so popular or, why Illumination still pushes them. And I'm so, so sorry you had to go through this.
A lot of people find the Minions to be cute and funny.
One word, Banana.
Don't worry, it's not your apology to make... ❤
Small children like them.
@@Cheezitnator then why did they get so popular amongst facebook moms
I liked the first and second movie of Despicable Me, but everything after that was a fever dream to me.
What you said is tru facts
Yeah, I can see some kind of effort of making a good movie in those two movies.
The first two Despicable Me movies were good (first being much better) and I kinda liked Rise of Gru (it was stupid fun).

The one cool idea these shorts have are they brought back the serum from the second movie
I remember seeing the minions short where they try to get a blender when I was younger! Either on RUclips or in a theater!!
I'm assuming the Weenie song is what plays as you walk through the gates of Hell.

Cro Minion is a play on Cro-Magnon, which were early humans.
It's called Cro-Minions as a reference to cro-magnons, a type of early modern human
Fun Fact: Sandra Bullock wore minion-inspired shoes to the premiere of Minions

As a current teen, minion stuff, no matter how bad or boring it is, gives me nostalgia and it can make me laugh.
I love your pfp so much
Wait, wait, wait.... There are 11, 11! MINION SHORTS?!!! How have i never heard of these before??
There's like one to three shorts for every movie they release. At least the mario movie is getting a short focusing on vector.

Memory unlocked
despicable me 1 released 1 year after I was born. So it's a bit wild that when I turn 19, the movie turns 18
It's amazing how Illumination evolves their visuals for a late bloomer.
The minions is one of those characters that just gets more and more boring especially since they’re in every illumination opening 😒
And the worst part is they were never even that funny, they just turned from tolerable to wanting to make me never want to watch TV again.
At least the latest appearance in the Mario movie was plenty tolerable, and somewhat relatable.
I just like the design of the Pterosaur man
Do a review on the Lorax soon?
"Illumination's TERRIBLE The Lorax"
Can you do a movie review on how "127 hours" is a masterpiece of a movie, also its based off a true story

Why are these so popular? They're just annoying. My kid turns the TV off if they show up.
