I'm so happy to have found this video, because all the other tutorials from video creators were telling me to install the old camera settings app and I desperately searched it, not knowing that it didn't exist anymore. Now everything is much clearer, thank you.
Thanks so much, I purchased my 930 webcam in December and was completely frustrated with trying to control the camera . Your second video here completely cleared up the mess.

You are a life saver!! I have a very important Zoom in one hour. I had the previous Logi Capture. All of a sudden Zoom would not accept the camera framing I had been using. Voila, your video let me know about Logi Tunes. Camera framing is now perfect. Thank you!
I appreciate being able to see all your other Logitech camera control apps at a glance. I was able to find a few and settled on the LogiTune as the best choice for my StreamCam.
Thank you so much! This was all very clearly explained, and I especially appreciate that you didn't go too quickly. Often in others' videos, I have to rewatch them several times just because they are going too fast. I really appreciate that you made this video; it will definitely help me in my Zoom meetings using my Brio webcam.
I'm so glad you found the video helpful. I hope more new Logitech webcam users find the video and use it to improve their video on Teams and Zoom meetings.
Logitune has had issues with Teams before. I am not sure why it happens but a future update has fixed it in the past and I hope it does so this time. It is frustrating.
Thank you, thank you. Throughout the pandemic my family and I have been doing "Zoom" meetings, and I have tried to use all of the Logitec things, like Logitec Capture, and Logitec Camera settings, etc. and nothing has been able to control the camera with the ZOOM application. I just tried this, and it's perfect. Now, of course, we're not doing that much zooming anymore, so I can't use it very often. However, thanks for finally letting me know that it's possible. 🖥😎

Hello. Just sending a BIG thank you for this video. I was having trouble (almost giving up), on streaming through XSplit Presenter which has no camera controls. The only solution for using a small teleprompter for presentations with this camera. Due to a wide field of view, the teleprompter sides were visible, but this is a perfect solution.
Correct. Logitune is a much simpler app than the previous apps. If you want to record the screen you would need another app such as the VSDC Screen Recorder.
Thanks so much for this! I was using the much more clunky Logitech G Hub software to control the camera during Zoom meetings, this is much more sleek. :)
I was wondering why my C910 Pro webcam would not adjust anymore with the Logitech software. I rarely use it but my wife is starting some Zoom meetings and we could not adjust any settings. So have downloaded LogiTune and have a C922 Pro coming tomorrow. Good helpful video.
You are experiencing a challenge that I have. The logi c920 washes out my face and shows hotspots from most light sources. My cell phone has way better light control. Unless you have no windows and professional lighting, the auto gain on logi is trash. The logi apps don’t offer an improvement that is auto adjusted, so I’m continually adjusting the gain and brightness to get the right mix.
Thank you for this helpful video. I just purchased a C920 HD webcam, and it seems strange that logitech provides no help in the package to explain settings and use.

Just got my c920s and the capture soft ware. The soft ware shows that the right built in mike is turned on but it does not work only the left one does. Is there a setting I need that I cannot find?
The Logitech Capture software is being discontinued so I am not sure if Logitech will offer much support any more. The two current software options are the LogiTune app which is simple to use or the GHub app which is complex. Whether a mic is turned on may be controlled by whether the app using the mic has requested mono or stereo sound.
I have a couple of issues with LogiTune, which I find a bit of a step backward from the previous Capture software from Logitech. 1) the zoom control provides only minimal zoom...if you move it any farther than you did in the video, nothing happens, that's all the zoom you get. 2) Unlike Capture, LogiTune doesn't allow you to take a snapshot or record a video, unless you use with the Windows camera app. Unfortunately, LogiTech has not updated its Capture software, which is not compatible with Windows 11. Quite disappointing to find my new 922 cam can't give me the features I enjoyed with my old cam. When I brought this to LogiTech's attention, and asked if they'd be updating the Capture software to work with Win 11, the reply was, and I quote: "Sorry for the inconvenience. The Capture software will not be updated. There are no plans to add to the features available with LogiTune."
In some testing I did today I also see that the maximum zoom level is well below the maximum on the slider (I have a C920). I wonder if the slider range is set based on the higher end 4K cameras which might be able to zoom further. Logitech has been clear that Capture will no longer be supported. I am not sure fi the GHub app from Logitech offers screen shots or screen captures.
@@ThinkOutsideTheSlide The GHub app doesn't appear to offer the option to take screenshots or record video. Oddly, if you use the cam with the windows camera app, the zoom works the way it should, and you can take pics and record vids, although it still doesn't offer all the options the old Capture app included.
Very frustrating application. The video resets every time you do a new meeting. You have to reopen the app and go to the camera to change the settings again. Oddly it retains the settings but the video resets so you have to fiddle with the zoom and pan again to get it right.
I have found that sometimes a new version of Logitune will change the way settings are re-used the next time. Hopefully it will be fixed in a future version.
I think both Teams and Zoom allow you to decide whether you want to see yourself mirrored or not. Check the video settings to see if that will do what you are looking for.
From software "Logiteck Capture" >> "Advanced Settings" >> "Horizontally Flip Source", the C922 is now showing a "true mirror image" ie. the word LOGI on my T-shirt reads IGOL on screen. Now.....how to apply this feature in a Zoom Meeting?
They may not be compatible with each other. The Capture app will no longer be supported by Logitech so I suggest you look at Logitune or the GHub app, both newer apps from Logitech.
I'm glad you found the video helpful. If you want to get notified when I publish a new article or video, sign up at www.thinkoutsidetheslide.com/vpnotify.
You may want to test the Logitech GHub app. It also offers zoom settings for webcams as well as other adjustments. Logitech says on the download page that it has a Windows 11 version of this app.
That sounds unusual. In terms of connection issues Logitech has some tips at support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360023179954-Troubleshooting-for-connection-issues.
You are correct, it did have more features. Logitech suggests the G Hub app as a replacement for the Capture app. I find it too complex and confusing for most as it is focused on gaming, not business usage.
Hello, I followed your instructions but I can't make adjustments to the camera when my teams meeting starts. I start the meeting then the launch the logitune app but it just gives me the regular wide lens view of the C920. If I launch the app without teams I can make the adjustments. What am I doing wrong?
Try launching the Logi Tune app before starting the Teams meeting. I have found that Teams is less likely to use the settings in Logi Tune than Zoom is. I often have to adjust the zoom setting after I join the Teams meeting in order to get it to accept it. It doesn't change the setting but it seems to let Teams know that it should use Logi Tune. I hope that helps.
Make sure that the webcam is a genuine Logitech webcam. I am not sure that Logitune works with non-Logitech webcams. If it is still an issue, try Logitech support.
as of 12/2023, does Logitune work with Teams Meeting? There is no effect either starting the Teams meeting first or after LotiTune. I am on Windows 10.
I just did some testing and I can get Logitune to work in Teams. I always start Logitune first before starting the Teams meeting. Perhaps the sequence makes a difference.
I have an article on how to decide on which Logitech webcam to choose at www.thinkoutsidetheslide.com/which-logitech-webcam-is-the-best-for-a-zoom-or-teams-business-meeting-what-to-consider-what-i-recommend/ I recommend the C920
It’s a shame there isn’t a plus and minus on the fokus. Whilst showing a fine lined drawing in Zoom it is extremely difficult to get it completely in focus. The autofocus just isn’t good enough. But thanks for the video anyway.
You may try unplugging the webcam and plugging it back in. I also know that there are many fake Logitech webcams out there and Logi Tune may not work if it is not an actual Logitech webcam.
Your computer should install the webcam drivers automatically. I almost never install drivers manually as it is hard to confirm that they will work with my exact setup.
so i keep getting this kind of info when i search for a way to watch my pc webcam on my mobile phone. this video therefor is not what i am looking for. (thanks worthless google) but perhaps you know of a way or the commenters know of a way to do this ? basically using my phone to acces my webcam on my pc like one of those new doorbell video cam things.
To do what you are asking would require the webcam to be transmitting video all the time in some way that your phone can access it. I think this would require an app running on your computer so perhaps looking for an app that broadcasts a webcam might be a direction to search in. Hope that helps.
G Hub does give more features but many people find it much more complex to use for the simple task of zooming in on your face. I would also guess that it takes more resources than Logi Tune when running.
I'm glad you found the video helpful. I prefer LogiTune because it is easier to use. Most business presenters are not gamers which is who G Hub is aimed at.
Thanks, good video and online article. I primarily use Webex on a Mac. I was able to get the app installed and I can see the video preview in the app while my video is running in Webex. I can make adjustments and see those changes in the LogiTune app preview, but it doesn't change it on the Webex side. Is there a setting on Webex I could me missing?
I don't think so. Webex may access the camera bypassing the LogiTune adjustments. You may want to check with Logitech as they may know if this is a known issue.
Logi Capture creates a virtual camera for apps such as Zoom or Teams. Logitech is discontinuing this software. Logi Tune is the current software to make adjustments that does not set up a virtual camera so it seems to work better for more people. I recommend only using Logi Tune.
The Logitech download page for Logi Tune defaults to the OS you use to access it. You can select other operating systems from the drop down list. I just checked now and the Mac versions are listed there. Hope that helps.
Hello, I came across your video as I am planning tu purchase C920 camera for my not very technical savvy parents, to allow them to use it in WhatsApp installed on Windows. Can I ask if I am able to preset the camera just once with desired zoom settings and have the Logi Tune start automatically with Windows for settings to apply each time, so that my parents don't even have to think about the Logi Tune and simply be able make properly zoomed video calls via WhatsApp? Thank you in advance.
My experience is that Logi Tune does remember the zoom setting when it is restarted. I can't guarantee that it will happen that way in every setup so I think what you want to do should work but I can't guarantee that it will every time.
Thank you so much for any guidance you can provide. I am following the instructions in your video, turned on the Zoom software first, connected my camera and can see it working on Zoom, but when I click on the Logi Tune icon to open that app, the purple Logitech Tune window that opens says "Please connect a product to start.". (My C920 is already connected at this point). The Logitech Tune window also says "no receiver connected" and "no headset connected". Those are the only two options offered. My goal is to have the Logitech zoom and pan controls available while on Zoom (or other similar apps), like you demonstrated in your video. I should also mention that I tried to open the Logi Tune app before starting Zoom just to see if that made a difference, but it did not. Can you provide any thoughts or advice for me? Thanks!
From your description it sounds like the Logi Tune app does not recognize your webcam. If you just use the Logi Tune app without running Zoom at all, it should show the webcam and allow adjustments. This does not seem to be working from your description. The first thing I would try is to disconnect the webcam and connect it again. Also check that you have a genuine Logitech webcam. The software only works with the supported Logitech webcams. There are a lot of knockoffs out there because this is such a popular webcam. I hope that helps.
I'm glad you found the video helpful. I have been successful using the Logi Tune app with Teams, Zoom, and browser based video so I expect that it will work with the apps you mention. The Logi Tune app is like any other app in terms of being able to be minimized to the task bar when running. If you want to have easy access to run it you can pin it to the taskbar in Windows. I hope that helps.
Hi! Is there a way to Zoom OUT to less than 100%? I have only found a way to Zoom IN (and then zoom back out) but not to Zoom out from original. Thanks!
In general a camera can't zoom out to show more than the maximum view based on the lens it has. The only solution I can think of is to move the camera farther away to show more.

I'm glad you found the video helpful. I am not aware of a Logitech app that does camera switching. Which camera is used usually is controlled by the meeting app.

I don't see that restriction listed on the Logitech site so I suggest you contact Logitech and ask if they have a version that will work with your machine.
My videos are almost always recorded using Camtasia, which I consider to be the gold standard for screen recording software. It allows me to have different apps or windows open on my screen and it can produce 1080p video. Hope that helps.

This is just a sad state of software/drivers. Needing another app to run in the background instead of just a) setting it up once in Logi Tune and zoom, pane, tilt, ... being saved on the camera independent of the used app/browser or b) conference apps like Teams or Zoom having low level access to these features and not loosing or even working at all like zoom in Teams only working a little bit with C920 (range 100-120) in a meeting but all the way when using preview/setting up the camera ... WTF. Of course it resets after closing the settings and opening them up again. Devs, producers, Microsoft, ... get your shit together cause that's a catastrophic state in 2022. And no, it's not just Logitech. We have the same issues with Surface Book 3 using the built-in camera. Even when the hardware comes from Microsoft, it still doesn't work. We have pandemic know for over two years and there is lots of demand and pouring money into the whole conference/meeting solutions and this is what you offer Microsoft? Your hardware, your drivers and even Teams being your software and they still don't work together as intended ... shame on you for a multi billion company to deliver such incompetence.
Thanks for sharing your frustration. Cameras have long been an area where Windows has not allowed users to see or control any settings. That leaves it up to the manufacturers to create software. My hope is that in future versions of Windows we will have better control of cameras built in to the operating system.
Logitech Capture is way more powerful including side by side or picture in picture (camera & live screen shots). This "new" app is almost useless by comparison.
Logitech has announced that Capture will be phased out and replaced by G Hub, a gaming focused app. Capture also provides a virtual camera that not all meeting platforms or setups can use. The Logi Tune app does not use that approach and works in more setups for those looking for the basic adjustments.
Some people have found a lag when using the Logitech Capture app. Directly connecting the camera to the meeting platform eliminates the lag. The Logi Tune app gives you control of the camera when it is directly connected to the meeting platform.
Hi Thanks so much. I've been using LogiCapture for making my youtube vids. Do I get rid of that and use LogiTune Now. I have the Logi Brio Great Vid. Blessings ...
I'm glad you found the video helpful. Since Logitech has announced that the Capture app is being discontinued, I would suggest switching to the Logi Tune app which is the current software.

I hope that helps.
hello i connect my webcam to pc but when i open logitune its say no device connected ! what should i do? Thanks
Make sure that the webcam is a genuine Logitech webcam. I am not sure that Logitune works with non-Logitech webcams. If it is still an issue, try Logitech support.
My attempt to download keeps failing. Is there a reason why? Can someone help me, please?
This is something you should contact Logitech support about.
as of 12/2023, does Logitune work with Teams Meeting? There is no effect either starting the Teams meeting first or after LotiTune. I am on Windows 10.
I just did some testing and I can get Logitune to work in Teams. I always start Logitune first before starting the Teams meeting. Perhaps the sequence makes a difference.
C920 or c930? I need to buy one for office meetings (zooms, teams). What would be your suggestions? There is no budget restrain!
Using a C920, I get a "No Devices Connected" message with LogiTune. What am I missing?
You may try unplugging the webcam and plugging it back in. I also know that there are many fake Logitech webcams out there and Logi Tune may not work if it is not an actual Logitech webcam.
Thank you for this? Where do you retrieve the videos? lol
Excellent job! Thanks very much!
I'm glad you found the video helpful.
How do I update the C920 webcam drivers? Thank you!
Would the G Hub app be better considering that it saves your settings after you restart your computer?
G Hub does give more features but many people find it much more complex to use for the simple task of zooming in on your face. I would also guess that it takes more resources than Logi Tune when running.
Thank you for making this video. Do you prefer the logi tune over the logitech g hub?
I'm glad you found the video helpful. I prefer LogiTune because it is easier to use. Most business presenters are not gamers which is who G Hub is aimed at.
Very helpful tips. Thank you!

Hello. Thanks for the video. Is it possible to turn off webcam through the app?
I don't believe that is a function in the app.
Anyway I can zoom in further without using OBS?
LogiTune has a limit to the zoom it can do so if you want to go beyond that you will have to use another app.
The zoom function doesnt work unlike all other features. Same in Logitech G Hub. Do you know how to change that?
I have never had that issue so I don't know what to suggest. I think you should contact Logitech support and see what they suggest.
Very well explained. Thank you.
Thanks. I'm glad you found the video helpful
What is the difference between Logi Capture and Logi Tune?
Logi Capture creates a virtual camera for apps such as Zoom or Teams. Logitech is discontinuing this software. Logi Tune is the current software to make adjustments that does not set up a virtual camera so it seems to work better for more people. I recommend only using Logi Tune.
hi, any alternative to use it on my IMAC it says its only available for download on IOS
Sir you video is very helpful just want clear one doubt. Will the Logi Tune zoom and pan work in Software's like OBS and VMix ? Thanks in advance
I'm glad you found the video helpful. I have been successful using the Logi Tune app with Teams, Zoom, and browser based video so I expect that it will work with the apps you mention. How do I pin the logi tune app so that it doesn't constantly disappear from the screen?
The Logi Tune app is like any other app in terms of being able to be minimized to the task bar when running. If you want to have easy access to run it you can pin it to the taskbar in Windows. I hope that helps.
Hi! Is there a way to Zoom OUT to less than 100%? I have only found a way to Zoom IN (and then zoom back out) but not to Zoom out from original. Thanks!
In general a camera can't zoom out to show more than the maximum view based on the lens it has. The only solution I can think of is to move the camera farther away to show more.
THANK YOU!!!! Super helpful :)

Thanks for posting. Do you know if there is Logi App that allows the switching between 2 or 3 cameras to create multiple angles?
I'm glad you found the video helpful. I am not aware of a Logitech app that does camera switching. Which camera is used usually is controlled by the meeting app.
Huge help!

How come this doesn't work with the M1 computers? What the hell gives, these computers have been out for a couple years now!
I don't see that restriction listed on the Logitech site so I suggest you contact Logitech and ask if they have a version that will work with your machine.
Thank you for the video
I'm glad you found the video helpful.
I noticed your video is in 1080p. May I ask what recording software you used to record this video? Did you use Zoom? Thank you.
My videos are almost always recorded using Camtasia, which I consider to be the gold standard for screen recording software. It allows me to have different apps or windows open on my screen and it can produce 1080p video. Hope that helps.
Thank you so much!

My hope is that in future versions of Windows we will have better control of cameras built in to the operating system.
very nice but not on Windows 7 :(
True. I think you will find it hard to get apps that run on an operating system that is no longer supported.
I tried using Logitech Capture, but there was a lot of lag. I'm going to try this to see if there is less lag.
That fixed the lag issue I was having!
Not when i stream on Twitch from xbox1x ... there is no way to... maybe i have to plug it into my laptop?
(C922 1080 pro hd)
I think the Logitech app only works on a computer.
Thank you!
