I went from watching his channel and barely affording a logitech g27. Now I have a motion cockpit and a direct drive wheel. Keep dreaming. One day it will come true.
I just unpacked mine; and rewatching the adjustment section. The instructions are so-so. Wow what a mind blowing upgrade from my 5 year old fanatec pedals, zero comparison. Thank you for the amazing reviews. 1 year of research finally settled on my new upgrade👍
Great review Baza. 👍🏻 Been checking out Simworx equipment. Defiantly on the radar for future upgrades to my rig. Great quality products at what I think is reasonable pricing. Also being an Aussie I like to support our homegrown companies.
Last I heard, he's waiting to review it until fanatec release the updated software. The software that the podium series shipped with is pretty bare bones I guess.
And once again kudos to how you have the steering wheel rim leveled to your chin and not the chest like most seem to think is the way to do it in there rig 48:30 .. unless you your in a truck simulator 😉
Glad to see someone OUTSIDE of Australia/Europe doing a review of these awesome pedals! On a side note, is it me or does Barry pound those pedals a little more than necessary when he heel-toes?
Yeah, old habits. I had a Datsun 510 back in the day when I learned to heel and toe. Had to give the throttle pedal a good slap to get the revs up to where it would downshift consistently.
Very good price, but couldn't only manage to purchase Heusinveld sim sprint pedals. Much better step up then the V3s. See you have the dd2 , just got mine. When's the review coming out?
I'm still using the Fanatec CSV3 and one thing i've found about the more advanced pedal kits out there (including the V3)... their exposed guts make for a hell of a hard time to keep clean and dust free, especially since they need a bit of oil/grease to operate properly. bit of a pain lol
I see an issue with the throttle when it comes to the adj screw... further back you put the pedal the shorter the throw, so you go from 0 to 100% throttle with less travel, might make it diff to manage the throttle... also i would have to put a rubber cap over the bottom of the adj screw so it wouldnt create so much noise when come off the pedals
Josh Andrew I emailed Barry and he said he prefers the simworx. Also I figure the simworx are actually more expensive, in that with the HE you are paying for the shipping, taxes, profit for local distributor, whereas simworx getting locally direct from Manufacturer
Thanks, Barry! How do you think the brake compares to some of the high end hydraulic pedals out there there...like HPP, Racewerk, etc. I'm considering the Simworx, but for the money I could get hydraulic pedals and not sure if I'd regret not going hydro. Thanks in advance for your input! :)
Those pedals looks magnificent, only one little thing about the review, i think the potentiometers are conductive plastic ones instead of magnetic ones, could you provide the product reference please?
Either one will get the job done. I'm hesitant to make comparisons. As, everyone is dfferent in what the prefer in a pedal set. I can say that I have ordered some black aluminum profile to build a proper frame for mounting the SimworX unit to my profile cockpit. It will be seeing a lot of use moving forward.
2 Question 1. What kind of software do these use for dead zones and such? 2. I know you don't like comparing but how'd these compare to your hydro sets? I'm getting ready to make a high end purchase so I'm just comparing all. Lol Thanks.

It is shorter that the others I have. But once calibrated in DiView, I don't notice any issues when it comes to throttle modulation. Others may though.

Hi all, for those interested I listed mine on Ebay. I'm not sure I'm actually allowed to include a link here but it's easy to find in Ebay anyway. The Simworx pedals are great as described by Barry. I however found my HE Ultimates to be a bit more adjustable and between the 2 sets I therefore went for keeping the HE. It's however not the same price tag and for this price - more particularly as I listed them on Ebay with a significant discount vs new price - the Simworx set is a huge bargain.

This is a misleading review. "Pneumatic damping" implies air is used instead of liquid. I bought these pedals under the premise that there was no risk for a leak. Well, I have a leak. So I call BS that these are pneumatics. It is unfortunate that this video is 63 minutes long but doesn't discuss the tremendous risks and headaches of how the brakes REALLY work. Such a shame. This video assured me that buying these pedals was as risk-free as it could be. Pneumatics are safer than hydraulics. Well, clearly, this was a lie.
