Hello Mr. Barry. Thanks for your review. As always doing an excellent job. If anyone has any questions, you can leave your comment here in the video, so the answers can be read by everyone. Happy Christmas everyone. Greetings, David.
Can you do some comparison videos of how you feel about some of the different pedals on the market. Especially when it comes to different styles of systems. I think everyone is in agreement that direct drive is the gold standard for wheel bases, but pedals have 4 distinct styles (potentiometer, load cell, hydraulic, pneumatic). A comparison video highlighting the differences between them would be amazing for someone like me who wants higher level pedals but just doesn't have the ability to test different styles to decide what I like.
Hey barry, something quite a few people would like to see is a SRG room tour and a detailed look into all of your equipment. Hope you had a good Christmas!
Two questions which were not answered in the video--how does the system actually detect pressure, and how do they feel compared to a traditional load cell/silicone (or rubber) damper setup?
The brake has a better 'squish' feeling than my HE Sprints, and is also more tactile, which makes it better for trail braking and overall more realistic feeling than just squeezing rubber.
Hi Barry amazing review video, all your reviews are amazing, I just start sim racing now with T300rs with stock pedals and now watching your videos I can have a better idea of what I got if I buy something better and I need something better this pedals looks like a space ship compared with my pedals lol
Great review as usual. Shame to see ProtoSimtech gone away. Been hammering on my PT-2s for 2 years. More affordable than most and the quality is there. Can't see trading them for anything that isn't hydraulic.
PT-2s still seem to have the most realistic clutch bite adjustment unless I missed some expensive pedals that do it better. Wise purchase and hope they are still going strong for you.
SRP is way, way better. I had the Simworx before getting the SRPs. NO comparison. My lap times improved immediately and the pedals have a far, far smoother feel.
I'm assuming the reason for so much adjustment is so that they can be mounted inverted? I take it this wouldn't be a problem? Can you confirm Barry? Now seriously considering getting these pedals...
Im swapping pedals currently use dd1 base, with V3 pedals. Totally torn between, these, huekensveld sprints or ultimate, or simtrecs, or asetek very very torn anyine have food for tbought would be greatly apprecieated.
These are smooth af and the looks of the pedal set is great much better then a heusinkveld sprints ,i think i will buy the formula pedal set just 2 pedals
@@ronaldkasteel3459 Ended up buying the Simtrecs, as I noticed Barry seemed to keep them on his rig for a long time. So figured if they were good enough for him they would be good enough for me. I love them really really awsome. Do want to try that Simucube direct drive pedal, but the price is just crazy.
@@jcsquared1111 thank you for replying ,they look awesome by the way good purchase .yes the simucube ddp are amazing but what a price indeed. have a great day
You can definitely tell these are well made pedals but I bet they weigh more than the entire interior on my autocross 914. I say this with the utmost respect - given what companies are charging for a set of pedals, there are obscene profit margins to be had if the manufacturing process is efficient. My point is, move beyond steel and chunky aluminum. Start using composites, lightweight aluminum, titanium..
Look overly bulky and ugly to me, they’d have done well to hire an industrial designer to make it a bit cleaner looking. For the price- it’s rivals like he-ultis, simtag etc look much nicer
I have to say, but I think the complete opposite. Huesinks look like mechano, these look like they thought about it and made it as minimalist as they could
I'm starting to get Bob Ross vibes when I watch these tear-downs.
Merry Christmas Barry!
Gotta love waking up on Christmas Eve morning and seeing one of your vids. I love your work , keep it up man !
That’s so sad . .... that I can relate
@@mako4874 not sad, this guy is just excellent
This pedal set is so clean. You gotta love all the details and simplicity that just work!!
Great video once again Barry 👍🏼

Greetings, David.
Hi, can you tell what is the max pedalforce on the brake?
Would it be possible to have base plate cut into 2 if ordering only 2 pedal solution.
If not how much less without base plate?

Thanks for yet another great review. Just ordered my set of those pedals.
How are you finding them? What are you coming from?
@@avavii wrote a review on their website
Hey Barry, any chance you could do a review on your favorite equipment(pedals shifter wheelbase) and which ones feel the most realistic, thank you
The SRP or the Simtrecs? You have tried both, so what do you recommend? I'm interested in brake + throttle only.
“Any wears anywhere”
Nice rhyme

It uses a pressure transducer.
Upgrading my HE Ultimates to this pedal set, appreciate the review, looking forward to mounting them in 4 days when they arrive
More like a downgrade.
@@truejayohwhy would that be a downgrade? Have you tried both? The throttle and brake are supposedly among the best on the market.
Hi Eatoner135. how are they?better or worst then the Ultimate?ty
I am bout to be buy one of these, and Im curious about what they feel. What they feel? Is it better than the Ultimate? :)
SRG need some T-shirts and other Merch with "So...Lets Get To It" on 'em.
Great review.. I really appreciate how thorough you are ..
Solid review as always, with the F button you can adjust brake pressure in real time.
Just choose wich F buttons to use.
I like the way those look. I may upgrade from HE sprints to these.
Barry, what are the pedals you use every day? Budget is not an issue for me...
Hey Barry will this fit no problem on a next level racing FGT Elite pedal plate? Im concerned because of how wide the SRP pedal platform is.
Impressive looking set.
Merry Christmas Barry
Now that is a good looking set of Pedals, resonable price as well for what you get.
Merry christmas Barry... Now for the question... These or meca cup1?
i bought this set today, looks great and should be better then load cells.
These easily.
Would you choose ultimates or hpp pedals. Or better question is what pedal set would you choose around 1500 or less
Have a very Barry Christmas everyone. great vid.
If you had to choose the best pedals you’ve reviewed which would they be? Im wanting to upgrade from my actual mid range pedals. Thanks in advance!

Barry , will these mount to a Next Level GT Track pedal tray? I would like to purchase. My V3's mounted with ease.
How does the pneumatic pressure hold up after years of daily use? Anyone know?
Hi Barry! I’d imagine that the pressure sensors in this kit, and other hydraulic/pneumatic kits are just 4-20mA transducers. Would this be correct?

No it didn’t ?

Hi Barry. I have a Question. What do you thing, which pedals are better ? The Simworx Pro GT V3 or the SRP GT Edition ? Best Regards from Germany
SRP is way, way better. I had the Simworx before getting the SRPs. NO comparison. My lap times improved immediately and the pedals have a far, far smoother feel.
Hi, when the Asetek SimSports Invicta review?
Thanks
Cool pedals for being very simple straightforward design.

Bro they literally sell the plate to invert them on the website right below the pedals. Me thinks you ain't buying these pedals LoL
Cool looking pedals, the clutch mechanism looks underwhelming though..
Merry christmas and a happy new year Barry!!
Or otherwise. In the Moment. I have the Heusinkveld Sprint. Does an upgrade to the SRP GT Edition make sense?
Yes yes and yes
Really enjoying all your videos. Every Sim Racer should Sub your channel, to keep up 2 date with Sim Racing gears 👍
Barry for some reason to failed to mention the brake pedal throw length adjustment screw which is sort of important. Surprised you skipped over it.
What happened with audio level on this video? It's low and variable, at least at my side.
It's crazy these pedals don't have more press. Their the best non active pedals there are.
I think the only thing that would make those pedals better is some Titanium White and just make sure you beat the devil outta that clutch as well
I would sure hope they show little wear after just a couple hours.... Lordy!
Nice pedals...
Tip for washers = magnet
Barry will you do the new McLaren fanatec wheel soon?
