Barry is just as cool, calm, and informative when talking with him..so excited going forward with my rig to come. Thanks to everyone else behind the scenes that makes this happen.
Loving what you're doing! Even though I'm now off the market for the foreseeable future, I still wanna support the channel for all the invaluable info I found when I was searching for my sim rig. Thanks, Barry!
Lovely looking pedal set! Shame about the linear clutch and as you mentioned using the master cylinder push rod off centre is a terrible idea, from experience they will leak in no time. After a re-watch, does the break pedal have side to side play? Looks like it wobbles in use?
Yeah I'm pretty certain it does, a little play is not uncommon in real brake pedals but it will accelerate the wear on the bushes and get worse much faster than if there was no visible play.
Hey Barry mate! You should do a favorites video naming all your favorite pieces of kit e.g your favorite cockpit, favorite wheel/wheelbase, favorite pedals and favorite shifter! Just and idea love your channel btw keep it up! ❤
While a "favorites" video sounds like an excellent idea on the surface, perhaps Barry is concerned that such a video would give viewers the impression that he is "endorsing" a particular product, even if he states that he isn't. Or, (speculation only on my part,) he might think viewers will get the feeling that the various manufacturers secretly paid Barry to include their product on a "favorites" video, even if they didn't. So the fastest, easiest and safest way to avoid getting into either of these 2 situations (probably more, but can't think of any right now,) is to simply skip making a "favorites" video to begin with. Barry would rather let his viewers decide for themselves what product is "best" in a given product category rather than seeing it in a "favorites" video. Just my virtual $0.02 worth going around a virtual track at 175 virtual mph.
@SRG: Professional and in depth as usual. I like the close up without the motion rig for the driving segment. Maybe it is possible to mount the close up camera to the motion rig so it follows? Easier to see the movement of the pedals and any flex etc.
I know Fanatec, Thrustmaster, Logitech and even HE will be around for years to support their products. Will Sim Coaches and the other dozens of new companies popping up every year making expensive high end pedals sets be around? It kinda concerns me.
Thats due to the fact the profits on pedals handbrakes and sequential shifters are huge. People get all wow with cnc stuff. The actual component cost is peanuts.
Even if it saddens me, that I will never buy or use pedals of this caliber, I cannot say anything bad about Berry's review. Except that I am jealous as heck. LOL Good job as usual.
It still looks like the brake-pedal it is moving not just in one direction when you press it hard. Is it feelable though? I have the same issue with Heusinkveld Sprints, but as it is the acceleration-pedal only it is easy to "not feel it" as you press that gently, but with the brake I'd personally don't want it to move around horizontally aswell.
Hi thanks for content. Do you know if fanatec clubsport v3 pedals work with thrustmaster tx racer on xbox. Looking to upgrade just pedeals rather than spending a fortune on a complete fanatec rig.
Hey buddy, i know fanatec is going to release some stuff for the ps5 later on this year, but do you think there is going to be a T300 upgrade soon? Should i jump into a system now or wait for the ps5 stuff to come out. im on pc. cheers!
They're pretty but don't have enough features/adjustability to warrant the price in my opinion. Clutch looks like an afterthought, pedal height adjustments are weak.
What I find funny is how all these pedal sets are the same yet they are charge drastically different prices. These are almost 2 grand yet they don’t do anything different then any other $1200 high end pedal set
For me too. I live in the USA and I only use metric tools since I work on import cars. However, all American car brand all switched over to metric as well. Not sure why USA not moving over to the metric system.
The biggest let down with this set would seem to be the clutch being an absolute non event. If they released a dual movement one where it actually feels like you are pressing through something (adding more drama) this would be The pedal and handbrake set!!
I really don’t like the glossy looking of these pedals. You don’t need the clutch pedal to be hydraulic. I have the B.J simracing hydraulic pedals and they are great and costed me only 1200$.
a lot of folks have been asking that for a long, long time but seeing as Barry doesn't really care in giving his viewers the content they're looking for, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a video to come down the pipeline any time soon, if ever!
i used normal car pedal... :) connected to arduino with dive-by-wire from the car pedal connected to hydrolic master and slave cylinder like up here... all for like [[300 euro]] Also added presure sensor ... this is bare minum.. the aluminium mounting 3030 was like halve the price... really not that hard to make proper pedals
there are much more better pedals for less price...this is highly overpriced piece of set....for 1 k it would be ok but almost 2 k with single layered clutch ..they might act like hydraulic byt people dont get yourself fooled it has nothing to do with real car feeling..u can get consistent but there is no need for hydra when result is same as classic pressure sensor
A lot of new pedals comming out lately, would have been nice to see some more H pattern shifter to come out as well!😁

I was thinking the same - brake pedal has some lateral wobble
Yeah I'm pretty certain it does, a little play is not uncommon in real brake pedals but it will accelerate the wear on the bushes and get worse much faster than if there was no visible play.

Beautiful machining, I'd want them in a glass dust free cabinet :)
$1800! Is that all? Ima get 2 sets while they're on sale.
actually there $2200

$1800 for 3 sim pedals? Not including the mounting plate? I'll keep my inverted ProtoSimtech PT-1 set. Nice review as always, but hard to "like" lol
Hey Barry ! Many thanks for this detailed review and your oppinion on the pedals. How is the software side ?

So in 2weeks they went from 750 to 1700 ok pass
Now that’s useful information, I was wondering why a kit with potentiometers cost so much 🤣
Waiting for the manufacturer to say something ;)
They're pretty but don't have enough features/adjustability to warrant the price in my opinion. Clutch looks like an afterthought, pedal height adjustments are weak.
IMO the ARC Carbons are still king. Infinity adjustable and built like tanks.
Agreed, adjustments are extremely important for me, don’t seem you can do much at all in those compared even to much lowered price he sprints
That brake pedal rod adjustment make me nervous. I wouldn't trust this design when the rod is going into the master slave in very strange angle.
There is a new version that fixes the design flaw.
Thank you Barry.

hi Barry, do you shoot your videos in 4k or 1080. the reason I ask is they look soft compared to other RUclips vids

SRG need some T-shirts and other Merch with "So...Lets Get To It" on 'em.
Hey man I like your videos but how do you get so much money to buy this all ?
Many stuff are obviously sent for review, look how many views his videos have mate
SAE fasteners were a deal breaker for me. I only keep metric near the sim rig.

any software to fine tune the pedals?
I found this also a missing element of this review. Does it have its own software or what did Barry use?

Him...since it appears from a few shots that they included a handbrake in the package, I'm hoping we will get a review of it soon as well.

What actuators are those on the rig?
Any ETA on 3drap pedals?
What shifter are you using in the first set up in the video?

shame these pedals leak fluid like crazy. seems to be the case with all hydraulic pedals :(
Always amazes me that some sim racing stuff costs more than the actual race car components they emulate.
Very strange thing, I agree.
Great Pedals, but over 2040€ with taxes and shipping to Germany :(
need sunglasses but nice looking hah
It´s time to replace my Heusikenveld Ultimate Pedals

12:00 that is not standard, that is the dumb measurement system. Standard is Metric.

Reverse the rear block on the gas pedal.

Overpriced
I don't think so when you compare it to something like a simtag (mostly I think it's due to machining, still a bit too underdeveloped for me)
For the price, I don't like the pedal plates, I am not dropping that much money, I'd want better pedal plates.
