Interesting numbers, knowing full well you can't directly compare power numbers from different dynos, but for comparisons sake, I made peak power of 393 HP & 367 lb-ft on a Dynacom dyno in 5th gear @ 83 F 39 % humidity from what my dyno sheet says, although the humidify number seems way lower than what I remember it to be that day . This was with a PPE Full Catback with the dual mode mufflers cut off, and pipes welded on to replace it (bought used off a guy that did that since it wasn't loud enough for him) along with a RR racing Carbon Intake Elbow, which doesn't do anything for power, all aesthetics, and the RR Racing Carbon Heat Shield, in which also stationary on a dyno with the hood open doesn't do anything either for power. When I went to the drag strip completely stock, I couldn't get a faster time than 13.1 to save my life regardless of what I tried the several times I went. I was plesantly surprised when I finally had the chance to run it at the track with the exhaust + intake setup, after 3 runs that night, best pass was a 12.5 @ 113.53 mph @ 20 foot elevation 58 F 65% humidity. Which shows that in Lexus's conservative nature, the stock exhaust is very restrictive both power, and noise wise, with it's secondary cats, mid section resonators, and the mufflers. The car sounds amazing now, with the H mid pipe, it sounds like a old school muscle car. The GS F went from below the radar sedan that pretty much nobody noticed, to what the he'll is that, it sounds amazing. One of the things I wish the GS F had from the factory was a factory installed valved exhaust. A few examples, I was in a Chick-fil-A drive thru one day, I had a guy get out of his car in line and come up to my window to say "I know this isn't stock, what do you have done to it?", after exchanging some words and him saying he had just gotten rid of his M4, the line ahead of me started moving, but he kept talking, at the end of the conversation he was walking away then did a double take back to ask me what model of Lexus it was, then said I'll have to look it up. Another time was when I was at a gas station, pull in guy does a side step from behind the gas pump, when I got out he says "Sounds really good" then asked what it was, he saw it was Lexus and said "Oh, Wow a Lexus" then proceeded to walk further to the side to see the back of the car to make out what model it was. That shows that there's a good amount of people that don't know that Lexus makes a performance sedan.
All true. I'm hoping to hit the drag strip this year also to see what I will run. But it's true people have no clue about the gsf it's so rare and with an exhaust it sounds amazt
Sounds great bro! Just got my mid-pipe yesterday and installing it this weekend. Hope to see some power gains like you did. Feels good when you get positive results.
Love the GS-F. I’m a Lexus guy/owner myself so I definitely love the car and the work you’re doing to her. Actually trying to build my current ‘01 2JZ IS300 and trying to get a IS-F haha😂 but I’ve Been a fan/sub for a while. Keep up the great content dude👌🏻✊🏼
@@BulletsGarage so I own a 2nd Gen IS so when I sat in the GSF, I loved how much more room I had, the red leather interior, and that V8 sound! I never owned a v8, only v6's.
That sound though, that’s JOE Z right there... man, don’t worry about the power, it’s enough to smoke plenty of cars out there. Unless you’re tracking...
The JoeZ exhaust sounds fantastic on the GSF. It matches the looks of the sedan powerplant. Great numbers for a NA V8. I'm calculating that it is a bit shy of 500 at the crank?
There is no loss or gain with the RR elbow. It was purely cosmetic with the same function. Not sure if you changed the air filter. If not, all gains are achieved with the catback and possibly the temperature.
You should have clarified and explain crank vs wheel hp because I already know and see one comment about it lol. So can you sum up the HP again and TQ gain compared to your highest numbers from last pull?
The level of volume at which you speak is too low for the level of volume of your music, bruh. I gotta turn up and down constantly. Sick ass car, though. My dad had a 2007 GS430 before he bought a 2015 GS350.
Intakes for this car is not going to add power so that’s why I sold it. All the intakes are basically for aesthetics. If you are gonna get one I recommend the toms intake
Kind of misleading numbers since they were done in Standard Mode and not showing SAE. They would be a bit lower with SAE which is really the rating to go by,
@@BulletsGarage Here is an example from a Forum: A dyno run on my car w/dyno set to CF: STD came up with 426 hp and 392 ft-lbs. Same run but set to CF: SAE produced 414 hp and 384 ft-lbs.
Dynojet always shows higher numbers than mustang dyno, but paper numbers mean shit in real world ,get that thing to GL dragaway in spring to have actual idea of where you stand ,bet you’d hardly get mid 12’s on a good day ..
Even if it does it should still get close to 7300 rpm. My dynos go past 7k in 6th gear and you’re only looking at the peak of the gear for numbers. Why does it matter if it his 7300 or not. Power drops after 7k anyways

Thanks for the video, hopefully I will get my gsf soon👍
No problem man. Hope u get one also
Dang this thing makes some serious power. 425!!! That cat back made a huge difference! Can’t wait to see what else is in store for the car
It's not bad for na power. But it lacks tq like ur golf R
Sounds great bro! Just got my mid-pipe yesterday and installing it this weekend. Hope to see some power gains like you did. Feels good when you get positive results.
Just midpipe not a full catback?
Have a Tom’s axle-back and going to mate it with the meistershaft. Both are titanium. I must be out of my mind. Lol
The sound is beautiful
I love it

Sweet! 🔥🔥🔥

Right it sounds perfect!!! ❤️ I love ir
Just came from the lexus dealer and was looking at a GSF, and I fell in love. I know what's going to be my next car ! #GSF
Nice. What did you like about it?
@@BulletsGarage so I own a 2nd Gen IS so when I sat in the GSF, I loved how much more room I had, the red leather interior, and that V8 sound! I never owned a v8, only v6's.
I caught that...."these salty roads" 🤣🤣🤣 That response is priceless!! And I understand..
I hate salty roads
That sound though, that’s JOE Z right there... man, don’t worry about the power, it’s enough to smoke plenty of cars out there. Unless you’re tracking...
Yea man I love the exhaust. It's truly perfect
Nice numbers man 👍💪
Thanks man. It's not bad for just exhaust
Great
Very high numbers exhaust only
my car rcf with sikkyheaders only and remove secondary cat in exhaust 430 whp & 402 wtq
Nice. Headers will add most power
nice videos, your dog is pretty cute.
Thanks

I have a Afe air filter

Yea I'm surprised people don't know the difference.

Hey, why did you sell your rr racing intake? Is it not worth it. I was considering for the gs f I have, but can you give me some advice?

Bullets Garage awesome, enjoy watching your channel. Keep it up.
Thanks man. No problem
I want this car
Big difference between the regular sound (voices and stuff) and the music that you play in between. Rip headphone users. 😵
Ooos
Are you tune???
No tune. Only catback exhaust
This is a V8 right? Can you get 500hp from a v6 with say a supercharger?
Yea v8

Idk I think they dyno is set to sae correction
@@BulletsGarage You can see it on your video that its set to STD and not SAE.

Still made power compared to previous SM
Curious if the previous dyno was SAE or STD.

In the spring I'm gonna go to the track. And yes Mustang dyno read lower then dynojet
Bullets Garage meet you there Sir
Shouldn’t it be ran in 6th gear?
6th gear Will hit the speed limiter and not Rev to 7300. 5th gear is best gear to dyno if you are not tuned.
Even if it does it should still get close to 7300 rpm. My dynos go past 7k in 6th gear and you’re only looking at the peak of the gear for numbers. Why does it matter if it his 7300 or not. Power drops after 7k anyways
Looks like it´s time to store the car...😞
Soon
My m5 is better
I will agree lol. M5 way better
Papa smurf let rev battle to see who’s car catch on fire first lol bmw is shit
Bullets Garage And I’D STILL TAKE THE GS-F ANDY DAY THO 😂👌🏻
M5 better......until warranty expires lol
