Just ordered the same Tanabe/Revel Medallion axle back for my 2016 GSF this weekend. My GSF is same color as yours as well. Your vid as well as REVEL's website video helped me pull the trigger on this setup! I really like how the REVEL axle-back isn't to flashy or overly large exhaust tips, its very fitting imo to what I'd imagine Lexus would've used as a "performance" option from the factory.
Glad my video helped!
Great video! I got another tip for you and your viewers/subscribers. Instead of using WD40 try using aerosol silicone. It not a permanent lubricant and won’t collect dust/debris over time.
Otherwise great car and fun to watch content. Keep it up!
So glad you did this. Ive been torn between keeping it stock and going with the Tanabe. Hate to spend this much money and not like the sound. This might help me decide a little bit. Interior clips windows down and up would be nice!
your wish is my command! Give me a few days and I'll make it happen!
Thanks man! I am looking for something just a tad louder than stock, very subtle and no interior resonance/drone. Any kind of drone would kill it for me so I would appreciate your opinion on that after you drive it for some time. @@SEsGarage
@@CyFi6 there is definitely some amount of drone. However it is MUCH more tame than some of the exhausts I’ve ran on previous vehicles. 1500-2000 rpm is the most noticeable drone but it’s by no means overbearing
Would you mind taking a video from inside? I would like to hear how bad the drone is, thank you

@@accordhybrid if you watch the video of me taking the car in for an alignment, you’ll hear the exhaust in cab! That was the first video I did with the exhaust
Hey man, I have a RC F in CA. I have been eyeing this exhaust since it’s compliant with our lame laws over here. I was wondering how this axleback alone was in terms of tone/volume/general enjoyability vs full catback.
I have been considering this or Invidia but the Invidia would be a dice roll over here. Or your route, Tanabe (then if I still want more) and a mide pipe.
Any input is appreciated : )
Hey man! The axle back sounded very nice by itself! It was not overbearing at all, and you can definitely tell the car had an exhaust on it. I wanted a little bit more so I went with a resonated mid pipe, and it gave me the perfect amount of volume!
That sounds incredible. Wow.
Just discovered/ subscribed/ to the channel .I have a 16 GsF .Still debating what exhaust to grab. What made you go this route?
Thanks for the subscribe! I had the itch for an exhaust, but didn’t/couldn’t justify spending 2-3 thousand on an exhaust. This was a moderately priced well known brand that I decided to take a chance on, and the gamble more than paid off! I do plan on doing a mid pipe this winter to wake it up a bit more
@SEsGarage : On the same page bro..Not looking forward on dropping 3k on an exhaust. But I do prefer full catback. What other exhaust were u looking at / what midpipe u have in mind ?
@@2URGSE I also liked the apexi exhaust! I’m thinking I’m going to go with their mid pipe, or possibly circuitwerks mid pipe
@SEsGarage : Nice yeah Apexi is on top of my list ..Looking forward to future content on ur F man..
Why do you have a fur coat on your legs in the summer time😂😂😂
Lol
