Hey my brother......I just order my Apexi resonated mid-pipe........all the gaskets that Apexi sent with the mid-pipes fit good without any issue? I am only asking because another video I was watching, they said they needed to order a set of donut gaskets between the header and the "down pipe". I was just curious....thanks!!

Thanks for the videos! You've got really great informative content!
I'm gonna be doing an axle back install on my is500 in my garage. Could you recommend a rear jacking point in the rear, so i could put rear on jack stands? Lexus recommends using the diff, but I feel uneasy with that. What would you recommend? Thanks!

That’s exactly what I did! Jack it up by the rear diff and place Jack stands under the pinch weld on either side of the car.

@SEsGarage thanks for the reply! I think the GS and the IS share the same diff. The recommended jacking point is where the cooling fins are. You didn't have any issues with damaging the fins?

Nope! Just use a block of wood to put in between the jack and the diff

How much louder is is with the midpipe vs with only the Tanabe axelback? Thinking about adding the midpipe as well to my existing Tanabe Axelback.

Volume wise it really isn’t THAT much louder. The tone changes quite a bit (deeper). It’s still very daily drivable with minimal drone!

@@SEsGarage Thanks for the reply. One last question if you don't mind. With just the axleback, volume wise it peaks at 4k rpm and the induction noise takes over. Is that still the case with the midpipe?

      @@user-iq6xq5yy7t yes!

It’s been two month now, any drone??

I’ve always had a car that had some sort of exhaust! So my definition of drone may be different than yours. BUT, there is a slight drone at lower highway speeds 35-55 but nothing id call unbearable. At 75-80 you can hardly tell the car has an exhaust
