- We install a Magnuson Supercharger into this Jeep Gladiator 3.6L JT! This kit comes with all the necessary components and all look OEM! This blower brings Gladiators up to 440 horsepower (measured at the crank), which will be more than enough to turn these wheels with ease! The thing rips as it is an increase of 59% & We all love more power!

Supercharger is a luxury item on the bucket list. Love the orange you painted on the stock wheels with upgrade to 35s. I want my Sarge Green (SG) Mojave's stock wheels done that way in SG. A lift is not even necessary to add 35x11.50x17 tires to the stock wheels, and that's my plan once my stock 33s wear down to their limit. Great video!
Awesome build
CGS CPR Specialist thanks!!
This is the most amazing upgrade. I’ve ever done. As always you guys have exceeded my expectations!!!
Thank you fuel tank is next.
Doug Duvall look forward to it! Glad you’re happy with it!
Does the MPG fall into single digits? Just curious since the new tank looks to be a nice add as well.
Curious after 2 years how it’s held up? Thinking about supercharging my Gladiator too.
Have u had any reliability problems with it, I’m considering it myself
Was really hoping you had responded to a few of these questions! :)
Ok price installed for mag supercharger?
Thoughts after owning for awhile?
Just did this install myself. Love the power it has added. Paired with a Corsa exhaust as well. Looking for a new intake to help with the sound but have yet to find anything that will fit.
Brendan Prince nice! It’s such a good upgrade! And we used the aFe power intake on one of our other supercharger installs, check that one out!
Want to do my gladiator similarly, are you having any transmission issues?
Check out the Hauk expedition snorkel kit. Should give you all the air you need. I installed one on my Mojave. Love it!
Ummm I'm new to jeep but it looked like it covered the oil filter...how do you get to it easily?
I have the pulsar connected to my ECM , do I still need to send it out
How is it doing now? Did you use the magnuson tune the kid comes with? Did you have any trouble with that tune?
So, is this still on and how has it been?
What does something like that cost to do?
This should be a Mopar part
what fuel can be used with these when at high elevationa like 6k feet plus when most stations only have 85 or 87 octane ?
Modern engines have advanced enough computer control to reduce power output and keep the engine from knocking badly on low octane fuel and at extreme elevation changes. As the owner of such a vehicle, it would be advisable to carry an octane booster at all times, or at least when traveling to areas where premium fuel may be scarce. Thanks for the question!
How easy is it to access/change the oil filter?
What is the out the door price range
Where are you guys located? I have a 6.1 and would like to know roughly how much including forging the internals would cost?
We’re in Dover, PA. If that’s close enough that you’d want to bring your vehicle to us, give a call on Monday or shoot us an email we’d be happy to quote this for you. Just use our website for contact info mountzionoffroad.com
Is that 440 at the crank or the rear wheels?
That’s flywheel. They make about 309ft lbs and around 280ft.Tq. At the wheels with kit. Their baseline is around 210hp/190ft.Tq bone stock on chassis dyno.
I am wanting this. Where are you guys located?
Dover, Pennsylvania - Give us a call 717-308-1844
Whats the reliability like on the 3.6 supercharged?
With stock internals, I'd say 50/50 chance of either running fine or catastrophic engine failure.
How much does the whole Supercharger kit weigh?
I'd guess maybe 100lbs
Does the Magnuson Supercharger get in the way of changing the oil filter on Gladiator?
It makes it a little more difficult but doesn't really get in the way!
@@MountZionOffroad Thanks for responding. I like your install and the one of the extended range gas tank!
@@onebridge7231 Thanks!!
How long does it take to do the install and including sending out the ECU for unlock and flash? My JTR is my daily and I still go into the office for work.
It's normally about two days to install but vehicle would be here longer as we have to send the ecu out to get flashed and all that!
@@MountZionOffroad why do they not give you the tools to flash it? Seems like a waste of time and money for them
@@irspecialer we send the ECU info to magnuson and they tune it and send it back and we install, it’s much easier that way since they’re the tuning professionals!
@@MountZionOffroad just seems like a lot of extra wasted time but I get it! I know Jack squat about tuning lol except for tuning my holley carburetor on my stroker YJ
@@irspecialer It's also a bit more complicated because the Mopar computers from 2015 on are locked. The main reason it has to be sent in is for the unlock service which needs to be done at the hardware level. Flashing the ECU itself is relatively simple with the right tools.
@mount zion offroad what do you guys charge for a magnuson install?
Shoot us an email and we can get you a quote!
mike@mountzionoffroad.com
What is the price including install?
jlv3x we don’t like to disclose that info on social media but if you wanna shoot us an email we’d be happy to share the costs with ya!
The supercharger is about $6500 for the complete kit. Labor for mechanics is usually around $150 per hour. Of course, "your mileage may vary".

Prepare to drop 8k
Hey. Where are you guys located and how long do you need the gladiator to install a Magnuson
We are located in Dover, PA and it would probably take us 3-4 days to install, but may have to wait a few days for the tune from magnuson!
When you buy the kit and send the computer to them to unlock is that included in the price of the kit? Or do you have to pay for them to unlock it as well
All good stuff - would love a total price installed with kit
The cost of the supercharger doesn't bother me. The cost of having to use premium fuel does.
J Maxey it’s not much more expensive! And it’s worth it!
You got to pay to play.
At 7k(about) for the supercharger... If Regular (87) is 2.50 and 93 is 3.50(Which is a bigger gap than usual), thats a $1 difference per gallon and $22 difference per fill up. That means it would take you 318 fill ups before you spent 7k more in gas. At one fill up per week, that's over 6 years.
So if 7k at once doesn't bother you, 7k over 6 years certainly shouldn't.
Thanks for this question. Can someone answer... What if you use mid-grade?
@@blancasd you shouldn’t use anything but premium with a boosted motor!
What email can I hit you guys up for labor and parts

Let us know what you’re looking for!
Magnuson vs hamburger?
Magnuson makes more power and looks much more OEM! Also does not use a charge air cooler.
And hamburger requires a cut open airbox and pushing your alternator a foot down in the engine bay.
Add a meth kit! I did and it works unbelievably. Dyno at 444 to the rear tire.
You didn’t even do any pulls on the dyno or show any results wtf? Kinda of video is this 🤦♀️
We’re not gonna beat the crap out of a customers vehicle 😂 we leave that for the owner! We also didn’t have to dyno it because magnuson sends the tune custom made for the vehicle!
@@MountZionOffroad without actual data and dyno pulls ur word is as good as the next guys!! If your going to promote a product stand behind it with some facts and data
@@cbruno12180 1000 Hp, trust me. LOL
Looks super dumb, why not just buy a hummer?
