that bayek cinematic is one of the best scenes in the entire franchise. Holy shit, the VAs went through the roof with it, you really feel intimidated by bayek,. Man was a beast, easily my top 3 fav assassin alongside ezio and altair.

When I first played Origins, I was expecting an introduction to the main character like how Edward or even Jacob were introduced. The first time I saw that scene, I thought, "Oh, this guy isn't messing around." I'd rather sleep on broken shards of glass than to be on his hit list . . . especially if I managed to enrage him.

Love how Edwards first major kill wasnt as an assassin (instead his kill was an assassin) he had no outfit, no hidden blade, nor knowledge of the assassins, templars and precursers. He was literally just a man trying to survive. Really sets his apart from the other scenes. Bayek's is still my favorite overall from his emotion and bruttality Really sets the tone.
personally my favorite first major kill will always be Ezio. prior to that he had a few minor scraps with others but the moment he killed that guy, I knew he was serious about killing everyone who had a hand in killing his father and brothers

i find it funny how pretty much only Charles Lee was pretty much the only bad guy in AC3. The rest seemed to actually believe that the Templars were actually good. Kinda like how Shay saw that the Templars he joined (Who Haytham was also part of) was better than the current Assassins.

As for Bayek, he did not make the order in the hope of finding those things, for it would be many years until the orders creedo would find any merit. Any worth, and Medjay are servants. Murder holds no truth between victim and killer, only belief. It is not so in depth in real life, you don't hear the last words of a man drowning in his own blood. You do not know the dreams of a man who's skull is crushed under tank treads. There is no glory in death, but in the world of Assassins creed, your murderer knows your final thoughts as you die. What a succint dosage of finality to your hunt.
(Valhalla spoilers for the concerned) to be clear, the order of the ancients had different ideals than the templars. The ancients' true goal was to ressurect the Isu Civilization. and to do so, they need to secure the Pieces of Eden. But in make sure no one can stop them, they relied on methods that involved order and control to stop the common man from their plans. they believe humans exist to serve the Isu. This stems from the fact that there were 3 supreme beings they worship: The Father of Understanding, The Mother of Wisdom, and The Sacred Voice Long time AC Fans know these are Jupiter, Juno and Minerva. King Aelfric from Valhalla saw these three and thought these resembled the Holy Trinity in Christian faith seeing this as blasphemous, he wanted to run the order to the ground, since he didnt agree with their ideals. But conviniently, Eivor was also after them as tasked by the Hidden Ones to hunt them down too. thus, the Templar Order was born from the ashes of the Order of the Ancients.
I love Unity's flashback memories over the kill confession scenes, it let me watch the story unfold periodically, revealing more and more information. And holy shit did Odyssey and Valhalla really fumbled the first kill of their games. Those two games --- man was their writing just insufferable. Odyssey being the worst offender of the heavy RPG mechanic trilogy.
NGL I like the whiteroom cutscene in Valhalla. While I agree, that they should've followed cutscenes for main stories but dialogues for side quests. And in modern day, it's not hard to implement choices in a live cutscenes as most of cutscenes aren't pre-rendered these daus

Technically Evie isn't a protagonist of syndicate. Evie is like Aya. Jacob is the only protagonist of syndicate. Evie is the protagonist of the dlc Jack the ripper.
They're both Protagonist.. even in the main story as it is called "Duo-Tagnists" Where a Story has two main characters... Jack the Ripper DLC still did it with Evie and Jack... As you View and understand Evies commitment to the Brotherhood and finding her Brother and Jack... He's basically enforcing and breaking the 2nd commandment "Strain your blade from the Flesh of the innocent" and Killing Other Brotherhood members including the ones that "Tortured" him in the Asylum..

She isn't in anywhere near as much as he is, she has often less important story moments, and her story levels don't follow the structure of a main assassin's creed story. She doesn't have lots of templars to hunt. She isn't even canon in the gang levels, as confirmed by Roth in the main story. Just like Jack isn't a protagonist either. He is a playable villain in the dlc where evie is the protagonist. People call syndicate a duel protagonist game, but it isn't. Some people call origins a duel protagonist game. Doesn't make it true. And yes, you can free roam as evie and play side quests as her, but it isn't canon most of the time. I'm just saying it as it is. Syndicate is about Jacob. No Jacob, then no syndicate. Both in the story and as a game.

The story was finished without evie as a playable good guy. The addition of evie as we know her today was fairly late in development. This is why the story is about Jacob and not her. This is why Jacob is canon in the gang activities and side content, and evie isn't, by the most part. It wasn't ubisoft trying to be difficult. It is just as simple as the story and game we're created for Jacob before the team was told to add a female option. I don't know what went down with Origins development, but I am very well aware of Syndicate. Unfortunately, some employees at ubisoft lie about the development for syndicate, but the truth is out there via leaked images, documents, interviews, concept art, videos, and more. It isn't easy to find it all, but it is worth finding. Took me a short amount of time to find some of the more easily found stuff and a lot longer for the rest. In any case, the game Assassin's Creed Syndicate is about Jacob. That was even confirmed by ubisoft before the games launch. If you look to buy the game even today, it says, "Play as Jacob frye." It doesn't say "play as Jacob and Evie." The development team said during interviews before the game was released that Jacob is the main central protagonist. He is the one with the gang and the plan to take back London. Evie is only there for a few of her own story levels. That was the official statement.

I wouldn't know this.. Unless I got the Art book that Titan books or Dark Horse is releasing, I only found out that AC2 Ezio's Original assassin outfit was suppose to have a Crow instead of a Eagle and Navy Bluish colors on it.. (It was on Assassin's Creed: A visual History) And Ratheókon/Connor's Original Concept outfit was a Whole native american outfit that had a Hood-Like-Cape that was covered in White Eagle feathers with a white Wolf hood over him... (Titan book's The Art of Assassin's Creed 3)
They need to go back to that old school way of how you talk to your target in their last moments as they bleed out and how you can hear the struggle in their voices as they speak and try to stay alive. She doesn't have lots of templars to hunt. She isn't even canon in the gang levels, as confirmed by Roth in the main story. Just like Jack isn't a protagonist either. He is a playable villain in the dlc where evie is the protagonist. People call syndicate a duel protagonist game, but it isn't. Some people call origins a duel protagonist game. Doesn't make it true. And yes, you can free roam as evie and play side quests as her, but it isn't canon most of the time. I'm just saying it as it is. Syndicate is about Jacob. No Jacob, then no syndicate. Both in the story and as a game.
@chrismoore5333 then Ubisoft is doing something wrong with the two characters.. as your suppose to have them both have the Equal amount of Story time with them..
The only example I can think of a Good Duel-Tagnist's.. Is Santa Monica's God of War (2018) since it mostly focuses on Kratos and Atreus trying to Spread their loved ones Ashes on the tallest peak..
As it gives both the Characters to.. Understand each other and both of Kratos Struggling to hide his Past from Atreus, to Atreus Questioning Why his father is hiding secrets from him..
@@Mangaka_Library I don't know if you realise this, but the assassin's creed syndicate was originally only going to feature Jacob frye as the protagonist. The story was finished without evie as a playable good guy. The addition of evie as we know her today was fairly late in development. This is why the story is about Jacob and not her. This is why Jacob is canon in the gang activities and side content, and evie isn't, by the most part. It wasn't ubisoft trying to be difficult. It is just as simple as the story and game we're created for Jacob before the team was told to add a female option. I don't know what went down with Origins development, but I am very well aware of Syndicate. Unfortunately, some employees at ubisoft lie about the development for syndicate, but the truth is out there via leaked images, documents, interviews, concept art, videos, and more. It isn't easy to find it all, but it is worth finding. Took me a short amount of time to find some of the more easily found stuff and a lot longer for the rest. In any case, the game Assassin's Creed Syndicate is about Jacob. That was even confirmed by ubisoft before the games launch. If you look to buy the game even today, it says, "Play as Jacob frye." It doesn't say "play as Jacob and Evie." The development team said during interviews before the game was released that Jacob is the main central protagonist. He is the one with the gang and the plan to take back London. Evie is only there for a few of her own story levels. That was the official statement.

AC2 Ezio's Original assassin outfit was suppose to have a Crow instead of a Eagle and Navy Bluish colors on it..

And Ratheókon/Connor's Original Concept outfit was a Whole native american outfit that had a Hood-Like-Cape that was covered in White Eagle feathers with a white Wolf hood over him...

They need to go back to that old school way of how you talk to your target in their last moments as they bleed out and how you can hear the struggle in their voices as they speak and try to stay alive. Instead of the way they do it now ever since unity they changed it smh 🤦♂️. There’s not even no point in how they do it now it’s stupid that new team of developers did so much to the games man it’s sad how close they really are or were to ruining the franchise. Although I still love ac and it’s times in history in where it’s at right now .
