I met Buddy at the Spice of Life Soho, London, when he came over to perform. I performed there as well, the same evening. Buddy knew one of the guitarists from my band.
I live in the Dallas-Ft Worth area (Arlington) and Buddy plays once a month at a local long time restaurant, The Candlelight Inn. I will be seeing him on Tuesday Feb 6. And it's FREE!!!! How lucky are we?
I was lucky enough to do an opening set for Buddy many years ago. A great and very understated player. He knows enough not to drown the band and audience in sheer volume. His playing is never repetitious. Compare him to EC and MT on the Mayall anniversary cd/dvd - he easily topped them that night.
Weres this cat been I never heard of him until You Tube. Man can he play & his band kicks ass as well!!! Only thing is the Audiences in these videos are so Lame Like there Asleep 💤 or something.😂
Often compared with Clapton (coz of them both being in the Bliuesbreakers) but there is no comparison. BW is effortless and just a million times better than Crapton...

Buddy is such an unsung hero, one of these days he will headline The Albert Hall!!

Yes, very nice. But I prefer Peter Greens version. Less notes, more emotion. No offense, just my personal taste.
.......Fine as hair on a frog.......
