I saw Buddy Guy playing with John Mayall's Bluesbreakers + also the Peter Green, (RIP) Splinter Group summer 2000 at the Royal Albert Hall London UK. Buddy's playing was outstanding and particulary 'Mists of Time' left an ongoing impression.
When I saw him the first time live with John Mayall I thought now there comes one of his roadies - but then he took his Stratocaster and blew me away. Buddy Whittington is one of the greatest Rhythm Blues guitarists.

What I love about Buddy is how understated his playing is. No flashy effects, no over the top sustain, just beautiful electric guitar playing.
