Excellent channel. Interesting info re heat soak limits.
Its still small for your car you need 600x300x76 at least for diesel
@@yacineyassine3044 yes it’s small if you drive your car at max rpm and stay over 4000rpm. But for a street car application is ok. If I decide to track my car then yes I will need 600x300x76. 👍
Hi mate great video and thanks for the explanation I have a e46 330d and wanted to know if the intercooler you have would fit in it’s fully stock and wanted to put an intercooler and then do the remap before anything could you please send or post any of the links you have ?
The 550x170x57mm intercooler is the best fitting one. The 550x230x65 will stick out from the bottom of the M Sport bumper. This is one of the reason I attached a front splitter to the bumper.
You can view how I did the intercooler piping on one of my earlier videos for this intercooler.
The 550x170x57 works really good with a stock turbo but I think you can get a 550x175x65 which is even better. 👍✌🏼
That’s great thank you for your feedback back I think I am going to try the 550x170x57 for now and see how that goes would you mind posting a link of where your purchased it please that would be amazing ? THank you so much

There’s two on this page one is 57mm thick with 57mm inlet and outlet and the other 64mm thick with 63mm inlet and outlet. The best one is the 64mm thickness. Both are the same price.

Could you do a video showing how you routed silicone piping from turbo through to inlet? Not a lot of room between A/C and sway bar, and do you have M57n2 manifold v-band style?
Sorry mine is not a v-band turbo and sits further back from the front bumper. My manifold is the three bolt type flange.
