All that corrosion is because you're not using the blue BMW coolant. You should also get aluminum pulleys instead of the plastic BMW pulleys.

Put tape over the frayed ends and cone it out. Then poke the cone of tape through the connector and push hard! Slips right through.

Any issues with the cooler or lines? Looking to do mine and wasnt sure on the quality of the ebay stuff. Cars looking mint!

I would probably go a bit higher quality if it’s for engine oil cooler. Steering cooler is on the low pressure side so not so bad. One of the fittings stripped on the cooler thread so not great. I would probably recommend spending a little more if you can afford it.

It has its standard thermo fan on the radiator. That’s more than enough for it.
