wish you explored the clean tones as well, to me the clean lead in married with children, champagne supernova etc is their most interesting and recognizable sound
In his 'Icons' interview on the Gibson TV channel, Noel said Bonehead had a "Carlsbro", and Noel had a Vox AC30 that "belonged to Manny" (Stone Roses) It's at 18:54 in ruclips.net/video/wepYti4JiCA/видео.html
Very cool video and the sound is really close, however Noel did not use a tube screamer until SOTSOG, when the band's sound drastically changed... for the worse if you ask me ;)
Cool, I was just about to buy them for oasis tomes , do u think I could get their for demfitly maybe tone with just an Epiphone les Paul and a 15 watt Marshall
@@UltraZombie I'm really not sure a 15 watt would do the trick on its own. I would recommend a pedal called Scran by SoundLad. While it's not something Noel ever used, it beautifully recreates the tones of Definitely Maybe and is overall a lot more versatile pedal than a Tube Screamer.
Perfect timing Harry! I'm learning the lead guitar Champagne Supernova for a jam session in a couple of weeks and I'm wondering how to get this sound. Thank you
If you want to REALLY hear how they sound without the multiple guitar layers and eq/ compression, go for their performance on MTV 120 Minutes or the bootleg live at the Commodore Ballroom 1995, in Vancouver. Those are great sounding recordings and show how the band really sounded without studio tricks.
You come across like you say all this through gritted teeth and that you find Noel the lowest common denominator in guitar playing. Which is a fair opinion. But then again until you flip the tables and he's commentating on your videos......
What’s your favourite Oasis song and album? Let me know below!!
Slide Away mate!

Would be cool to see a full tour of your amp and guitar collection. Been watching for 10 years and have always wondered.
Always so impressed with how well you match the tones. Thanks for another great video
Nothing like cranked British amps and brilliant songwriting. Why they were so great

Try taking the tone down, and use neck position for the pickups

Get a Marshall Guvnor or Drivemaster for the 1994-1996 Oasis Sounds. @@UltraZombie
