Paul, I used to watch your channel Wednesday and Sunday... But stopped because I was spending loads of money on Razors, brushes, blades, aftershave etc.... You must have been responsible for costing me hundreds over the years.... But I've dipped back in and oh my god I miss it.... That's another couple of hundreds you'll cost me.... Paul💈💈 This shave speaks for itself, no need to explain anything. We can tell the enjoyment was above and beyond. Original Shulton Old Spice certainly sends one back in time, the scent is extraordinary. Having the cream tubes and hard soaps is a real treasure along with the collector sets, I have many myself and display them proudly with several NIB unopened and pristine. Look at that display of color, amazing Mrs H could keep the sight of lingering summer color and mix it with some Fall season items and make it come alive in one setting..thank you. Well, I went to the dermatologist and of course like always was frozen, picked on and cut some, so I won't be shaving for awhile as a few areas won't allow. I'll be ready when the time comes though. Great video and results today sir, nicely done, thanks. Enjoy the salad and the start to the new week.
Nice collection there! Old Spice brings back good memories of my Deda (Gtandfather), splashing the stuff on after he would shave, always with an electric shaver too!
Amazing how you are transported back by favorite old aromas. SOTD was the Karve CB brass with the open comb C plate. Gillette 7oclock green 1st. use. Stirling Scarn a dupe of Sauvage. My Alum block had my neck singing loudly. Thayers Lavender witch hazel and Nivea sensitive calmed things down. Cologne was Issey Miyaki Leau Majeure. MOTD is pork and sauerkraut. Take care all.
I have never been able too finde the original shaving cream i did finde a mug unopened and was sent a puck , just imagine if we could travle in time the original might not be discontinued cause so many wet shavers would travle in time raising the demand for all the original products. great shave , video and the flowers as usual beautiful Mrs. H. stay safe, cheers....Peter...og wow those decanters old Spice gorgeous
Todays SOTD was Ogalla bay rum with lime and peppercorn, atomic rocket brush, Razorock eco with an astra blue and pinaud virgin island bay rum. I have a vintage shulton old spice lime from my grandpa. I use it sparingly but wow it’s great!!!

Very very nice shave. I could almost smell that cream through the video. Amazing how scents can bring back so many memories isnt it. Spice was my grandfathers scent. He had a glass bottle of old spice talc powder too. Ive yet to find that anywhere. my sotd i posted on your wet heads page last night. the rockwell 6c, with a shark blade. Used the simpson t3 brush and had an all proraso red shave. Have a great rest of your wknd 👍🍺

Why can't Old Spice go back to shaving soap production, with the mugs and all, even if it's a modern version. People would immediately run and buy it.

It's my Birthday today and so for those male family members who guided me it's going to be Old Spice for me as well.

Mrs. H always surprises me with her colorful and artful displays. Because I'm not a collector I really enjoy your vintage shaves. Your enthusiasm tempted me to order a Wilkinson Sword Classic DE razor. It has a mostly black handle and looks very similar to the one you used. I am anxious to find out how it shaves. It was only $6.17 so it didn't cost much to give it a try. Your vintage Old Spice collection is quite impressive. My Dad used the classic Shulton Old Spice aftershave and cologne back in the day. All I have is today's version so I don't know how close the fragrance is compared to the original. Thanks for today's walk down memory lane. All the best to you and the flower girl!

Absolutely outstanding top notch shave today sir!!! This old spice shulton shave cream is the proof that shaving creams in tubes or even maybe in pucks don't go off through time. Wonderful shave- my SOTD, 38 c, Gillette blue stainless, tops sandalwood, Nivea balm. Pinaude Brandy spice aftershave, Burberry London cologne. I smelled like a spice tea Christmas shop.

Good morning Paul, excellent shave, can’t go wrong with a Wilkinson sword Classic glad you’re enjoying it. Fantastic using the original old spice cream. SOTD will be Goodfellas open comb with a Rapira platinum lux blade, Yaqi butterscotch brush, Truefitt and Hill Sandlewood cream, Blue Stratos Aftershave and Nivea Fresh kick balm. MOTD is Roast Pork with Roast vegetables and new potatoes and lashentoes of gravy. MrsH did a wonderful job with the flowers as ever enjoy your day my friends all the best

I've never tried drinking birch sap, but I'm aware that some people ferment it to make Birch Beer. We have a soft drink here in the USA that is also called Birch Beer. It's similar to Sarsparilla.

Hi Paul. Great vintage shave. When I started wet shaving in the late 70s I used the original Old Spice products (among others). As you say, the "new" Old Spice cream is made in India, I have tried it and it is not the same. I was surprised at how good the shaving properties are, though. The scent, however, is very powdery/musky and only somewhat near the original. Kind of disappointing.

Cracking shave. Your meal sounds delicious. Fwiw I like to put in a few dollops of horseradish sauce in my potato salad for a little kick. MOTD - beef tips w/baby potatoes, chocolate pudding & after dinner mojitos. SOTD - Schick Krona, Gillette 7 O'Clock Green (new), Alpine Soap Co. Love to see the old stuff unfortunately Old spice and Brut doesn't smell how I remember it unless I'm wrong.
Goes to show Gillette got the basics of the safety razor correct way back at the start of the last century. Regards to you both.

Indian Old Spice shaving cream isn’t quite the same as Shulton back in the day.
Sadly the Old Spice of Shulton is not reproduced from the stuff made for today, there's just something missing? maybe it's something banned from the Original when the UK was in the E.U. just a guess on my part or the spice used today is not the same. Anyway, I myself do have the Orignal soap sold in a plastic bowl from the 70s still in the box never used probably I'll never use it. I use an old saucer for a lid on my shaving bowl.
+1 from India. I have a 15 year old (still not vintage) bottle and shaving cream which smells much stronger than the ones I have today.
@@okiedokie_cool Unless it's got the Shulton trademark on it, can't say it's the Original if it's just 15 years old it's not Orignal Shulton's shutdown more than 15 years ago I think? Could be wrong??????
