FYI, I installed those in channel ones on my 2023 4Runner a couple of weeks ago and had no issues with the window channel width... was able to slide them in and use the window to create a tight seal. I also ignored the part about scuffing the channel with the pad because that felt weird. Have had no problems and am happy with them. Can't explain why they don't seem to fit yours properly.

Yeah, I don't know. We went with the Low Profile ones. Liked the styling better.

I originally only wanted AVS on my t4r's but after the horrible fitment of the in channel for the 2022 I decided to go with WELL visors for 23. Kinda retro looking and seems to cover more of the window from rain.

For the in channel rain visor, when the window opens half way due to the safety feature, you have to reset the Safety feature and the in channels works perfectly fine, I installed Weather Tech rain visors and they specifically stated to do so if there is any issues with the window opening by its self after installing the visors, the windows have been working fine since the day of the install.

I bout in channel for my 2020 sonata and I could hear the motor struggling on that last half inch or so. So I ripped em out

I wish I had gone with the outside design from the beginning. The in-channel design is not a good choice for the 2023 4runner. It is exactly like it is said in the video that the in-channel design would not work. Window channels on my 4runner are too narrow and it has been over six months now since the installation day. My drivers side window visor came out right after one opening. My front passenger window visor does not stay in the window channel either. I opened that window two or three times and it comes out of the window channel. If your window channels are wide enough, then it will be fine. Overall it is a great product. I followed the instructions and the cure time accurately Just be careful and verify what you need. This time, I will order low profile outside mounted visors.

I tried some on a 2018 Jim truck they didn’t last more than three months and came loose. I had to rip them all off and buy another brand.
