I just got back from a CRAZY trip to Port-au-Prince, Haiti - undoubtedly the most dangerous city in the world. Here is a little behind-the-scenes from my hotel room, sharing my experience of what it is really like to be here over the last 48 hours and shoot on these streets. I can't believe this happened. And I wish the best for the future of the country.

It breaks my heart to see Haiti like this once again, I never like to see my Caribbean brother's and sisters suffering for basic needs we all take for granted. Stay safe my resilient hatian people, greetings from Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹💙🇭🇹
Thank you my Caribbean sibling from Trinidad and Tobago
Trinidad and Tobago not that far off……..
Thanks so much for your comment. I love your country
I liked your comment drew
@@lordlouis9931Trinidad does not have anywhere near the poverty as Haiti.
Grew up in Haiti for 15 years …left in 97’ …Giving you a lot of credit for going to my dangerous country …last time I visited was in 03’ and part of my regret not going back more often..looking back haiti was a paradise compared to how it is now ……I don’t know if I’ll ever visit my beloved country again …a miracle will fix my country for the better not the government
Ik it’s a crazy suggestion but I’ve read about Haiti. It’s an absolute shitshow. If a bigger country were to annex it, (like the US or France who are responsible for the mess) would you be against that? Because I see absolutely no way out for Haitians other than this.
Drew. YOU ARE INSANE! Glad you are safe. much love
Thank you so much!

As a fellow Haitian member this is very common but some places in Port au prince are safer than others

Drew I was on a cruise ship in 1976 with a stop in Cap-Haitian. The shanties were crumbling, a loud speaker in center of town with the president speaking. The hospital was open air with flies everywhere and only slightly scary but got bad when going back to reboard the boat to the ship. There were 10 black guys on one side and 10 on the other wanting a tip before letting us through. I tipped $10 but that wasn't enough so I gave another $10 and they let us through. My wife was scared to death!
Jeez
My heart breaks for those that don’t have anything. The woman sitting working on the greens with an unusable kitchen. She’s doing what she can for her children. I wonder who has a harder life the homeless here or those in the video. Please stay safe Drew. 🤗💖🦋
I lived and worked amongst Hatiens in Miami for 30 years. Amazing culture. The market at Opa Locka-Hialeah looks like Haiti.
Really
Hope the situation over there will become better.
same1!!
That was awesome. Love the behind the scenes video , the first one was crazy! Glad your safe.
I watch both u guys. Safe travels brother.
amazing, stay safe drew
Thanks, Drew !!
Lived in Haiti for 6 years from 2012-2018. A beautiful country with beautiful people and so much potential. Hope to return when the security situation is better and spend more time there. Thanks for the content!
Was that the situation the period you lived
The situation then was much better than it is now. The UN was present and we traveled freely with caution in certain areas.
The video is extremely horrible.Haiti is facing a real complicated miserable
Loved it brother! 👊🏻💯
thank u for the content
Fire drew thanks for the amazing content brotha ⚡️
Your travel guide vlog is a goldmine of information. Everything is spot on.
thank youu
I was expecting this video Drew really did well 😮😮😮😮😮
Your behind the scenes videos are fabulous, it adds to your boots on the ground videos , a peek of of true life. TU
a couple U.S. Army brothers deployed to Haiti during the UN stability intervention...mind you these guyz have dune a couple laps around the globe exposed to some of the worst conditions humans can impose on themselves...they both stated that Haiti was the most disgusting, lawless, and darkest environment they've experienced...there truly is a need for nations to come together and assist in healing this country's turmoil....
No country will help without something in return. They're not gonna put their soldiers in risk in a country that you're in danger only because you're not black. & when i mention black, it is to be literally black... cause indigenous people to them, are white people. How do I know this for sure? Cause a Latin RUclipsr upload a video yesterday & people were very hostile for literally no reason. Even in the places he asked to record to the owner of the place, people from the neighborhood came to yell at him & treat him like a criminal. He then explained, that haitians are hostile with white people because of bad situations in their past. But yeah... to conclude. He's not even white, he's indigenous.
The UN especially has been showing more and more over the years how useless it can possibly be. Haiti, now Gaza, at this point there’s honestly zero reason to think anyone is safe if some group or entity somewhere decided they just are gonna rule the world and kill us all. The message is that no help is coming; no help is possible. So what are we supposed to do?
Yup... literally one of the worst places on Earth. The violence is unimaginable.. the videos I've seen from Haiti are horrific...they burn people alive in the middle of the street while everyone cheers and claps. They dismember people with machetes and then drag the pieces of their body behind a motorcycle through town...it's a h3llhole
They've verbalized that they don't want help from outsiders. Let them fix their own problem.
You did well..mate.
All the best and take care..
I love seeing real conditions too. Your thoughts and opinions are important too !!! Please stay safe ❤❤
Thank you😀
WILD! Glad u safe!

This was awesome, and maybe strangely, makes me want to visit Haiti even more now!
Great video. Especially the 48 hours in Haiti as well. Can you full documentary video of Dominican Republic? Thanks a lot
Stay safe Drew Binsky.
Hey Drew, I just visited the Mundari yesterday in South Sudan. Thanks for the tip! Mayom says you're a good guy lol
tell him hi!
I have a co worker who is from Haiti and she talk about it . She stated that her mother hasn’t been home to Haiti for four years because of this situation. Very nice girl that I work with. Very sad to see. God bless everyone from Jacksonville Florida USA 🇺🇸 🙏🙏🙏
I hate the situation going on there and the history goes very deep. As mentioned. Haiti was the only successful major slave revolt in the Americas and essentially European nations made an example out of them. Unfortunately, their isolation from building any wealth for decades (unless the wealth flowed directly to the Europeans) has led to the dire situation and lack of stability. It’s very unfortunate.
Successful? The Haitian people have been enslaving each other long before the white man showed up.. they didn't need white people, they were already slave masters.

You brave af drew
Love ur t-shirt by the way ❤
I was in Port au Prince, Haiti in 2010, about three days after the earthquake that killed 200,000 people. The greatest single loss of life in recorded history. It was like the apocalypse. Predators were everywhere. I stopped feeling sorry for the ones who died a few hours after we docked our salvage barge.
You did a great video.
I’m glad you survived. You brought awareness to the appalling conditions people are trapped in and asked the right questions. Respect
Thank you for showing the world what’s happening in Haiti
Need more videos from Haiti
Why don't you go to Petionville & show the rich side of Haiti for a change?? You could also show Cape Haiten. The conditions are much better in those 2 places.
Just shows us how much we take what we have for granted
Agree! 😢
It’s shows how much western countries suck resources dry and leave ppl hungry that’s really what it’s showing
My brother drew seen it in your other channel was crazy epic and it's crazy each culture is different some are dangerous others are super violent places be careful my brother drew god bless happy Sunday always supporting and sending positive feedback love your videos you're brave for this brother ❤
Thank you for this content. In the town I live in in Alabama, there are a lot of Haitians moving here. Very much enjoying getting to know them, trying their food, etc. Heart-breaking to see the current state of their home country.

My ofger still stands to you, Drdw, to accompany you to the north of Haiti to show you a different side.
Shout out "Chris Must List" for introducing Sean and the situation in Haiti to the world!!!
Love you too Drew, Thank you for checking us out!
This video made me terrified for you Drew. Then I was feeling so sorry for those children and women. That flouded shanty, oh my! Why hasn't any country stepped up and helped? I enjoy your videos Drew. Stay safe.!
Great video! Scary place. I know someone who visited there 2 years ago and there was garbage everywhere and the airport was really scary. They had to stay in their resort because it was unsafe outside
The north and south are very beautiful places with beautiful beaches there’s also an airport visit au cap it’s very different out there
Pretty crazy the fixer in this video is kidnapped now
Haití is a great country but I feel bad for where one who don’t have food Love from Colombia
i found out who's running Haiti now is the PM Ariel Henry and he's just letting the gangs do there thing that isn't good. just so glad u safe.
He had no choice.
I imagined that it's tough in Haiti (from all I heard and saw) but I was still surprised how tough it is when I saw the full version video back in the days.
Good job Drew taking that guy from cite soliel outside the ghetto. That’s probably the first time he been out of cite soliel in a long time you made his day.

it is like a real war without war
Worse even. At least in war, you know who the sides are.
I went to Port-au-Prince in 2021 and after my city tour, my guide just told me to stay in my hotel room cause if I go out alone I might get kidnapped. So I sat in the hotel eating $30 cheeseburgers then decided to fly home early.
I admire your ambition, I am glad that you survived and showed the world the sad reality that exists on our planet, I am definitely going to sleep today grateful for the life that I have
The life that you have only comes at the expense of places like Haiti.
Drew.. Your crazy as hell for doing this!
I remember Sean from Nick's video!
I have been to Haiti three times. I lived a few years in Africa and Haiti is worse than just about everywhere in Africa. But the friendships I made have been incredible. I took my teenaged sons there in 2019 and it changed their perspective of the world. Times are even worse there now and I pray for my friends and all Haitians and wish the world cared more.
I will never ever complain about my town in Wisconsin
Drew falling off.. numbers ain't right.. I subbed and liked though 😂😂
Makes my heart hurt😢
Your a brave man
I afraid 😧 to visit Haiti 🇭🇹 again. My parents from here. I am sorry you had a tough experience.
Go to the north side (Cap Haitien)

Thank you for the BTS vid.
I'm Haitian, I love my country🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹
What prevents the Haiti citizens from facing the gangs .
@@moh_ysfThe gangs are probably too strong
average haitien people probably don't have weapons and there is no government so the people can't do anything
You should ask if it was always like this next video you make on this series
Let me start with saying thank you for updating us on the situation in Haiti. We read and hear things here in the US but we really don't know what it is actually like. This video gives us the real picture if what the slums and gang areas are like. I'm sure there are other places in Haiti that are not so much like this and it would be amazing to see them. But... let me also say that I don't understand the need for this video on this channel. Your tag line says (What I Didn't Tell You) but really most of the scenes in this vid were exactly like the other one. Nothing new here, just go to main channel and watch the long vid.
Sean be making up his own thing when he translating for them 😂
I am really sorry for that mama I wish I could have done anything to her 😢
I have had the pleasure of visiting Haiti 3 times. As a Marine I provided humanitarian support after the earthquake. I also assisted in the post assassination investigation which led down many rabbit holes and dead ends. I also visited Haiti in the past as part of my study and training into the investigation of ritualistic crimes. My biggest takeaways were the corruption from the political class (foreign and domestic), the Gang violence obviously and rampant human trafficking. Also exploitation of the country by foreign powers. The people are really amazing beautiful and kind. I wish the world powers really cared as much to help Haiti as other foreign countries we seam so worried about.
The people responsible the corrupt hatian elite also have connections and allies in the U.S which i belive are protecting them.
was the u.s involved?
Thank you for visiting paup but Haiti 🇭🇹 have another City that you can visiting like Cap-Haitian
Extremely sad situation, it is hard to believe that at this exact moment that people is going to sleep without food, no bed, no water, no peace, the world is a mess and unfortunately every day is getting worse, poor poeple is getting poorer and rich people richer, no body will be in charge of fixing that mess and also the closest safe place they have, the Dominican Republic, is getting more serious taking every Haiting out of everywhere, the discrimination and hate against that population is at its peak.
dont freak out bro..we all the same 😅
Wow, 👏👏
Another country with Drew Binsky
Hi bro Have you been Khiva? Uzbekistan 🇺🇿
My mother used to tell me when I was a child, the Haitian Dream was to see Haiti become the Pearl of the Antilles again, and the wealthiest and most prosperous nation in the Caribbean, a land with not just a proud past, but a proud present. That dream however, died in the hearts and minds of Haitians in 2010. Now, the only dream of Haitians is to leave Haiti.
@@Ben_Silverstein34 And you have been shit for whole your life DAMN😂😂😂

2:20 There's the money shot!
Drew, being that you love being in the middle of the action, maybe you should go to Gaza next, lets see the situation of things there.
Good idea 👍🏾
So crazy to see this. We left Haiti in 2019 after three years in the south east. And it was already bad. But we didn't feel really unsafe, we didn't had problems even in downtown, around the Marché de fèr. The politicians, with the gangs and the money of the drug transfer spoiles it all. The country is so beautiful and has so much potential.
Good luck for you all,
I am supposed to go there for an art project early next year. I am not sure how I feel about that.
as a woman of Haitian descent, I am feeling very warm at how this video is making an effect on you guys. Also, all the wishes for Sean and for his safety are very kinda but I want you guys to remember that these videos are filmed in the ghetto parts of Haiti. Sean may very well live in the actual good parts of Haiti.. like Upper Delma or the places a lot of your celebrity favs visit. Instead of feeling sorrow, just donate :) and, while you’re looking at all these rough videos of Haiti, take the time to search up the nice parts as well
I heard that the capital now is controlled extremely by gangs is it true
It’s sad to see people living in those conditions
For people to make progress it’s a mindset
Bro I’m from there u are crazy not just going at this time but the area u heading to is a death trap
I'm looking forward to my vacation in Cap Haitien this coming September. It looking like I may need to fly from Amsterdam, Netherlands to the USA, then see how I can get on to the island. Just can't wait to dip my toes in the Caribbean Sea and mingle with the locals.
