That is not one of their best songs. There are so many better choices of Volbeat songs. The whole story of Mr and Mrs ness is a great one.
Anything after the first album is garbage compared to the range of the first album. I don't mind if you don't agree with my opinion, but play a song off the second album, a song off the following and they won't clash for this reason.
@@turbodsm712 I disagree with the albums after the first being garbage. Especially if you pay attention to all the content of the songs. I'll play different albums depending on my moods. Many songs elicit strong emotional responses. I listen to them everyday though
NOICE! No one reviews Volbeat...props! Volbeat has some pretty amazing songs my favorite is Hallelujah Goat but SOOO many other good ones too....Shotgun Blues, Last Day under the sun, Seal the Deal, The Devil's Bleeding Crown.......Check out a live video....he still sounds just as good....the dude can just flat out sing. I don't feel like that many people know Volbeat...or maybe they are just learning about them now.

I'm a recent Volbeat mark and I'll be honest, I don't know a whole lot about them yet. But I'm a HUGE Clutch fan. And Volbeat recently dropped a track with Neil Fallon (singer from Clutch) that I think absolutely kills it. Check out "Die To Live"

Saw these guys live in '17 with Metallica and Avenged Sevenfold. They were great

Trash Talkers it was insane. I saw them as well in Baltimore, ravens stadium on the floor. Got right up to the outer end of the snake pit (which is a special stage outcrop) and Metallica had a special drum kit for when they played “seek and destroy” that came right up out the floor probably 15 feet in front of my girlfriend and I, and the whole band gathered around right there and played the whole song. Epic night.
Hey, so did I- at a racetrack, so I was NOT close. But a great show, anyway. (I saw Volbeat again, later, with Gojira and Slipknot- that was quite awesome, and better seats!) Rock on, guys! 🤘🤘

Great pick, one of my favorites by them. I saw them live with Slipknot and Gojira back in 2019. The band order was kind of interesting as it went Gojira, Volbeat, then Slipknot. So there was this tone shift in regards to style right in the middle of the show that I actually enjoyed. Was a great show and I don't think he has any effects going. He just has a cool voice. I was kind of into them then but when I saw how fun and talented they were live is when I became a Volbeat fan. Enjoy.

You know how some singers sound great on an album but you see them live and you’re like, eh. He is not one of them. He is just as amazing live! The energy of their shows are great too. They love their fans and their fans love them. Warriors Call should be your next one if you haven’t done it yet. And btw, you forgot Maynard! How could you forget Maynard???

I know you all don’t do hairbands but...there is a band called Steelheart and the singer, Mike Matijevic, still to this day has one of the most amazing voices of all time. Another dude that is just as amazing live as he is recorded.

Devil's Bleeding Crown, Doc Holliday, Gardens Tale, Fallen, Heaven Nor Hell
So after discovering Volbeat and finding many of their songs quite catchy and easy to listen to over and over again I can now safely say I found my car karaoke singing range because for whatever weird reason I can match his vocals effortlessly lol.
Any Volbeat song rocks. Lead singer is having throat problems so lets hope he gets taken care of. Check out Soulweeper...love his voice.
I red that the singer from Volbeat, Michael Poulsen, was influenced by Metallica a lot. I actually saw these guys open for Metallica a few years ago and they killed it. My favorite song by them is probably "Hallelujah Goat", though "Devil's Bleeding Crown" is also great. The first song I'd heard from them is "Sad Man's Tongue." Metallica (especially Lars) have given Volbeat their seal of approval, even.
