- This small park in Seguin, Texas is home to a small little wooden roller coaster that packs a big punch! It currently holds the record for the steepest drop on a wooden coaster, and is also the only coaster to go both forwards and backwards. However even some of the best coasters can't escape the wrath of a coaster parody!

We need a double-sized one at Dorney Park (PA) about double sized (train length, height, track, etc) and one taking advantage of the area+western building at Fun Spot Atlanta 2022 (which would then complete them all having a solid wooden roller coaster and all they being different!

When the GP is giving a lot of hate towards a the biggest them,e park company in your country because of one accident that happened over a year ago and they still haven't dropped. You would hate them too.
Damien Kent Bingo. It's still not been dropped. They're reporting simple breakdowns now as if it's then next big disaster. I have their next story. Ride derails inside Alton Towers Roller Coaster Restaurant.

Of all the real wooden roller coaster I had ridden, I certainly don’t hate them. They are rough but a rough I enjoy and I am okay with. The rough I hate is the ones on like Viper at Six Flags Magic Mountain! Ugh God! Please turn it into a B&M hyper!

Outlaw Run is still the best modern wooden coaster I’ve ridden. Beast is good but Outlaw Run is closer to home so I don’t expect the best ride ever because it’s a small drive from Saint Louis. Also it’s less intense and something almost everyone can enjoy. Exhilarating, but not rough or too intense for the GP to enjoy.
I was going to Gardner State Park and there was nothing but open fields, but I randomly saw a bill board for this ride.
Since no one else has pointed it out, I feel the need to mention that Switchback is not really a shuttle coaster.

Tbf driving there from San Antonio to ride it 7 times and go back to Six Flags was a nice break in the day.
It would be interesting if it went back down the lift hill but without engaging the chain and disengaging the anti-rollback. Go flying backwards into the station brakes

I have a quick question. Which coaster parody was the one where you were making up funny names for the different elements of the coaster? Like the sushi roll, egg roll, etc... I can't seem to remember it!
That was the Storm Chaser parody.
I love, love, LOVE this coaster. I was lucky and got to ride it with the water dummies during testing... for six hours. Yes. six hours. No stops. Got more than 100 trips on it that day. Could've gone another 100, easily.
Ah what about the American Eagle running backwards??? They almost always had 1 side running backwards for a long time.

Did you know what coasters you were going to parody before going on your big trip or did you just decide after you rode it
I knew what I was going to parody before I rode it. I plan everything out wayyy in advance.
It's hard to explain. Some coasters just have some qualities to them that I know I can incorporate into a parody. It also depends on how much footage I can get of a ride. If I can't gather enough footage, then I can't do a parody. I've certainly had some surprises from some rides, and there are plenty of parodies I've decided to do after I rode it. However if I know I'm only going to be going to the park once, then I think about what I can work off of and write a rough draft of a script, so that way I know what I need to film when I get there. I then modify the script after I've ridden it.

speaking of buying boomerangs and sticking it in the middle of nowhere, I was at Morocco once and on a long drive when randomly on the side of the road. There was track for a Vekoma Boomerang. No trains, no station, no lift hill, just the track. I tried to see if it was on rcdb but it wasn't. It wasn't even in a roadside park, is was just there.

@@S.J.C._Entertainment Wait, after further research, the boomerang I saw wasn't abandoned it was just being built as park of a new park in Morocco called Coco Park, opening this year. The boomerang also isn't Vekoma, it's a knockoff from a company called Zhejiang Juma Amusement Equipment, that's reason why it didn't show up on rcdb before when I looked at every boomerang in existence.
