- You may be able to find it across the country at most Six Flags parks, but that doesn't mean that Batman: The Ride isn't a great coaster! Unfortunately we're just getting a little tired of riding them. Maybe more people would like them if they didn't clone them!

Apparently the one at my home park of Six Flags St. Louis is the smoothest of the Six Flags clones. Literally the only thing our park can be proud of besides American Thunder.
I never liked Batman at SFGA. Every time I go there is a long line and the theming is weak. Maybe I am picking bad times to visit. If I'm gonna stand in line at Great Adventure I'd pick another coaster. I honestly like the SLC at Morey's Piers better than Great Adventure's Batman now.

it isn't normal for six flags to clone a good ride. so i don't mind these. (i am a fan of b and m inverts but i don't like any other b and m types really, their hypers tend to have forceless airtime. and the floorless have really bad rattles and their stand ups suck. Flying coasters are ok, but their lines are so slow i just say forget it.

You do know that the lines being slow is the park's fault, not the manufacturers.
Well, for flying coasters in my experience its a little bit of both park fault and just the way that they have to ensure everyone is locked in, then put them in flight position with only 2 trains takes a bit longer

that was awesome! Even though Batman the Ride is currently my favorite invert due to its intensity (must ride in the back row at night, guaranteed black out).

***** For some reason the one at Six Flags Great Adventure has grown more intense the past couple of years. And after a train rehab, when I rode it during Holiday in the Park in the back row at night it was butter smooth and insanely intense!

I've been on 2 BTR clones: Great Adventure and Over Georgia. I love the intensity.
The batman at Six Flags magic mountain actually has really nice theming, it is definately themed to gotham city and you can't deny its not true!

I think Great America's is actually better themed than any other Batman because the queue looks like the park and is not just a giant concrete slab. it's grass.
Coasters'N'Stuff i was talking about theming, magic mountains station and all around is themed. and great america's has grass and trees.
The best batman clone themed is Batman La Fuga at Parque Warner. Its fantastic and smooth as a B&M. Probably the best one

I've ridden a total of 6 B&M inverts, none of them are a BTR clone. I like variety I guess.

As much as everyone hates clones, this is actually a great ride and one of the most intense B&M inverts out there.

Darien lake has one... sitting in a pile in a lot outside the park. I did a little research on it because I was curious why it was taken down, apparently six flags shipped to Darien lake (Rochester NY) from a closed park in Texas called astro world. Before that it was in NJ's six flags great adventure, and before that it was in magic mountain. Looking at the dates, it would open at a park and only run a couple years, amazing how a ride could move around that much. I fact checked myself real quick, and it turns out darien lake scrapped it late last year, and tho the track seemed similar, this one was a stand-up, apparently being one of the first in the world, originally built in 1986 as "shockwave"

I rode this a few days ago, and we got stuck on the break run for like 5 minutes. Out of nowhere in the middle of those 5 minutes, somebody started clicking their seat belt, and one by one everyone in every row joined in. Idk why, but that was one of the funniest things that happened all day.

Cedar Fair: we will build good inverts at each park, except MA, VF, and CWL. Six Flags: let's build a B&M invert at one park, and put a clone of it at every park that we own. Well, almost all of them.

I'm not an experienced coaster enthusiast (only 20 coasters) and I've never grayed out on Batman at SFGAm which is probably the most forceful Batman out there. Great Parody though Taylor!

The B&M Floorless at Six Flags New England (Batman The Dark Knight) was called Batman The Ride once, when they were building The Dark Knight coaster to avoid confusion. But because Six Flags didn’t receive the construction permits, the ride ended up getting built at Six Flags Mexico instead, and the Floorless coaster went back to being called Batman The Dark Knight.

From the makers who brought you Manta at Seaworld and Tatsu at Magic Mountain, and who so obviously improved on the Vekoma Flying Dutchman design (insert some side scene of more Vekoma chaos here) comes "Super: Ultimate Flight." Uuuh...wait, what's so ultimate about it? I mean, they made one and...cloned it three times. And they didn't even do the station right, so now the lines are 3hrs long all the time? "Superman: Underwhelming Flight." You'd be better off with a Flying Dutchman from Vekoma and you know it! Taylor: "sighs"

The reason why San Antonio has two of the same rides 10 minutes away is because it’s a park competition between sea world and Six Flags when really Six Flags get more attendance than sea world
The batman coaster I rode was a floorless B&M, and it said screw it and changed its name to dominator and jumped ship to cedar fair lol. I guess it was the black sheep of the bat family. 😂

At SFSTL, it rained a ton and all the rides were closed. Me and my 2 friends waited 2 hours for everything to open. Batman THE RIDE opened, and we ran through the mile long queue line. We were the only People on the ride. Everyone else walked, we got 2 rides with only us on the train

I used to be so scared of every single ride like legit I cried. Lmao I wish I was more brave when I was younger but my friend forced me to go on Batman at Six Flags NE 4 years ago and I loved it. After that I tried any rollercoaster I could get on. Even though I’ve only been to three amusement parks LMAO. But I will always consider Batman my fav cause it made me fall in love with rollercoasters and stop being a baby.

Batman causing people to black out? It makes sense. Every time I hit the end of that ride I feel really lightheaded. I think it's the tight inversions sending too much blood rushing to my feet way too fast.

Idk if this happens elsewhere, but when I recently rode the one at Great America, we were sitting on the brake run and everybody on the train was clicking their seatbelt lock thing as we sat there. You could hear other trains doing it as you waited in the station, just a constant clicking and snapping. If you experience something like it you should definitely include it in a future parody.

Haha I beat the system. Instead of waiting in a hot queue at SFOT, I went on an October day right after a cold front came. We also got a fast pass because we thought it would be crowded during fright fest.
A night ride on the New Texas Giant is amazing by the way.
Never been on Batman the ride but Montu at BuschGardens Tampa hands down the best B&M invert. I rode it 7 times in a row back seat. Nearly blacked out on the 7th time.
All things being equal; I'd rather have a cloned B&M 'Batman layout' Invert than a cloned SLC
the whole Golaith thing at Fiesta Texas to my best guess was out of necessity, the reason is simple, of all the notable Six Flags parks, Fiesta Texas was the only one without an invert and they had it from Six Flags New Orleans. Could they have gotten rid of a SLC clone for it, sure, but given the circumstances they threw it into Fiesta Texas.

From what I've seen, the batman ride looks A LOT like Afterburn from Carowinds. From the line to the cars to the track layout. Its just Afterburn but with a different coat of paint.

The backwards Batmans get too much hate lol. I rode Le Vampire backwards and I thought it was really fun. It was a change from the same old Batman that I haven ridden many times at SFGAdv.

Rob's Rides I rode Le Vampire backwards and the corkscrews were not an issue. However, I'm sure it depends on which one you ride backwards. Le Vampire is apparently one of the best Batman clones so that's probably why it didn't hurt.
What if you've only been on Batman Backwards and you never got the slightest feeling of greying out, vomiting, or weak legs?

There was also a Batman Slide at the most famous amusement park.
If you count Top Thrill Dragster and Kingda Ka as 2 cloned rides, then Coaster Studios has actually parodied 8 cloned rides not including this one.

I mean Rita and that one ride in Heide Park have according to Logan, the same layout therefore it’s been cloned lol.
I wonder if those ones that are so close together, like, the other park thought they could draw in everyone from what would clearly be a way more crowded six flags park. But it still makes no sense. I really see in no way how getting the same coaster can help you "compete" if your a park in proximity to another, in anyway whatsoever. I mean, could a place like "Casino Pier" build a 4-D free fly? Of course. It'd have shorter lines. Unless it's an upgraded bigger model, what would make people go there? AC dropped it's plans for a Zacpsin just like that when Total Mayhem/Joker got announced. This is why Casino Pier is getting a Gertsauler infinity. You get something they don't have to draw in people. Now if only someone would get a GCI or an RMC. Hopefully we can leave it up to Six Flags GA to get an RMC eventually. And yes, EL TORO IS NOT ENOUGH. A flagship park should have more than one wooden coaster, it's like a missing link when we have a overdose of B&M"s (amongst which includes a stand up nobody wanted nor needed, replace it with a dive or a custom RMC like Wildfire or Goliath).
