- We've made fun of cloned rides before, but what about 7 coasters with the only thing in common being the name? Different Goliath roller coasters can be found throughout the world, and they're all unique in their own way!

These are so great, I hate how people get so annoyed by a small number mistake. Seriously, this stuff is really funny. Also I like how Taylor can keep his videos totally clean and remain entertaining and informative. If you're reading this Taylor, keep up the good work!

That’s exactly what it is. When Six Flags New Orleans was destroyed, Batman: The Ride was one of the few rides that survived and it was relocated to Fiesta Texas as Goliath

Why don’t we mention the hyper at La Ronde? It’s got good airtime, smooth as crap, and good operations.
Barry B. Benson if I had to guess, it's because it's, at least to memory, the second shortest B&M Hyper (at 175 feet tall, it technically shouldn't even qualify as a Hyper) and, mostly, it's at La Ronde, which is one of the most mocked parks out there.
Some of these coaster parodies make Taylor's knowledge of coasters seem limited. What I mean is that coasters such as Goliath at Walibi World were formerly part of Six Flags, and in other parodies such as the Magnum parody where there was a skit about Arrow stealing B&Ms plans, B&M barely even existed. Even in the Desert Storm parody where there's a bunch of manufacturers at a table, many of the manufacturers such as Intamin, B&M, and S&S still were just beginning to develop and make a name for themselves. I'm not criticizing because I still think his videos are funny, I'm just saying that maybe they could be a little but more realistic
I knew all of the things you mentioned, but I did them anyway simply because it'd be funny. The part about Six Flags formerly owning Walibi I didn't feel needed to be mentioned. Everything else was just meant as a joke, it's not supposed to be historically accurate.
That "random park in Europe" was a Six Flags park when the ride opened!

In Rollercoaster Tycoon 2, the Six Flags parks and rides were added. You can't call two designs the same name, so Six Flags Holland's Goliath is named Goliath.1, though nothing after a . was displayed in RCT until Classic came along.

It's a running gag, originating from the Anaconda parody with the first appearance of Josh from Kings Dominion. Every executive since doesn't wear pants.

My guess about the goliath name change at SFFT is that it would bring bad association with the ride and make it even more apparent that it was a ride that was abandoned. It also allowed them to add a batman the ride later on so yeah

My 2nd favorite. I like the RMC Goliath the best, but both are in my top 20. The B&M hyper at Georgia is fantastic, one of the few B&M hypers that focus on ejector airtime, and the only one I know of without a MCBR. Those 2 factors make a huge difference.

Fun Fact: Walibi Holland was a Sixflags-park when Goliath was build (Originally named Sixflags Holland), so the dumb name was again a Sixflags-Idea

The name of the Dutch Goliath also came from six flags. At the time it has opened Walibi Holland (the name of the park where the Goliath now is) was part of six flags (six flags Holland)
My friends and I got stuck on the mid ride break for an hour. It wasted a lot of time, but it was kind of cool. Lots of bonding time 😂
