- Inspired by the classic Switchback Railway in Coney Island, this first-of-its-kind Gravity Group wooden shuttle coaster packs quite a punch into a very small footprint.
It's 58 foot (17.7m) drop sends riders over an airtime hill at 40 mph (64 km/h) and under a former grocery store archway around a 104° over-banked curve back through the building over another airtime hill and up a 63 foot (19m) 87° spike into the sky. Then you do it all again backwards!

I heard of this ride but didnt knew that it was actually that cool. I mean even if the riders per hour arent going to be a good number, this is an awesome idea
Coasterguy Germany This is a smaller park with much less attendance than a Disney or Six Flags park. Capacity for this is not a problem at all.
I mean proposed for Dorney Park I think there could be a problem there, but for where I see easily see one going like say Fun Spot America Atlanta, it'd be beyond perfect and they'd have all the room to work with in addition to a cool western building where some kind of tunnel or interaction would be epic.
@Pop Films I had to think about it a bit in order to figure out the block zone configuration for two trains, which requires a minimum of three block zones. I eventually got it: Station block, lift hill block, final brake block (which consists of the main course of the coaster). Basically, the second train can't go over the lift hill until the first one is going to the station and the track switch is set to go through the main course.
I went on this four times. It's honestly my favorite ride there

This is a great ride gravity group knocked there socks off with this one. I wasn’t expecting to ride any coasters on this road trip am doing with my grandparents to pick up an airstream they are buying in Texas, but we ended up going to ZDT’s on my request and it ended up being my first credit outside of the state that I live in (California) I’m new to being and enthusiast and only have a total of 22 credits but I hope to raise the number to 30 by the end of the year if every thing goes back to normal soon 🤞any way Switch Back was a plesent surprise that I was fortunate to ride 8 times in just a little over an hour (4 in the back 4 in the front) (they had the middle 2 rows closed off for “social distancing”) it’s hard to say which row I prefer because they both have benefits. The back has better airtime but in the front you go higher on the spike and you fell the speed better, I think I lean more toward the back because of the airtime but I recommend trying bolth to decide for your self, WOW that turned into a review way to fast, guess I have to give it a number rating. Over all I think switch back is a 9/10 coaster but I do think you should try it for your self and form your own opinion, or watch a better review of switch back on coaster Studios. Have a good day :)

Really hope this catches on more. While one is meant/planned to put at Dorney Park (and will be of larger size+assumingly longer trains), I hope more might pop up in smaller to mid-size parks. Honestly, Six Flags Fiesta Texas would be better off with something much wilder but like this after getting two RMC's, and their neighbor having a top-quality GCI (Seaworld San Antonio).

Hi I’ve ridden on this roller coaster 25 time my grandma lives where zdt is and there’s no line so I go on it over and over its so fun😁

interesting but the riders/hour must be terrible
its not actually that bad, this park is never crowded
that's positive then, a coaster like this in an overcrowded park wouldn't work if you think about it. tbh this kind of coasters are interesting . would like to see more of these especially in europe :D
MUNITE there are actually 2 trains that run on it, so it's not an awful capacity.
probably one of the reasons why the lifthill is on the slower side :p
