- So first it was delayed a year, then it opens with a very noticeable rattle due to issues with the track alignment, and then after not even being open for a year the park dismantles the whole thing. Yeah...this ride was BEGGING to get parodied!

It's been 10+ years and I still am confused as whether or not Intamin's Kingda Ka at SIx Flags Great Adventure, NJ, is actually an open coaster or just for season pass holders at select dates and times coaster yet.

One of my viewers brought up this parody. I got to ride it last year, and the work that was done on it really made a difference. After this video was made, S&S seriously improved this ride. It is now one of my favorite launch coasters 😀. By far the most improved non-RMC coaster.

Yeah Vekoma is actually a decent manufacture now, could be better than B&M and Intamin
Indeed. I think if one design for a coaster just jumps out it could possibly end up being the world's best in the eyes of some people. I think there are too many great coasters now to have one absolute favourite now, but Vekoma can definitely still fight for one of the best.

I live in NJ so I ridden both and hydrus is better because of the ride and it's cheaper than the $10 what is galeforce
Hydrus is technically $8 it's not a big price difference despite the way everyone has been making it out to be. Especially not for a launch coaster that's actually longer. No offense to Hydrus, I love both of these coasters, glad the jersey shore has some exciting coasters (not just pain machines like the ones in wildwood, or the former looper at playland's castaway cove) not just family ones now.

Well, at least you gotta give S&S some credit. They didn't get sued into the ground for not taking responsibility for building a new/prototype coaster correctly. There doing it all for free. Can't say the same for Togo. Personally though I still want to know how Intamin doesn't get sued all the time for all their downtime or how six flags didn't sue premier for screwing up batman and robin the chiller, especially since basically all their other coasters are pretty efficient.

A Bassoon Oh they had to spit water at each other for much longer than that! There were so many outtakes from laughing or the spits not as good, but all in all, it turned out great!

I’m part of a club of coaster enthusiasts and rode gale force last night (8/17/16) . As far as the ride, it was about as good as you can expect from a small, Lesser-known boardwalk ride, good experience and the que line wasn’t bad or terribly long. Probably the second best 3 minutes you can spend in ocean city.
And it launched twice....
I’m finally riding tomorrow. I miss these parodies.

Wut yes, I am aware the audio isn't like the normal audio we usually use. Because of circumstances, we had to use a different microphone than normal. In the future, we will try to use my usual one. It just so happened that this time we had to use a different one.

Galeforce is a strange, but fun coaster. I rode it at the end of September, the part that I hated was sitting there for like 10 minutes anticipating a launch and never happened. Apparently the girl running the ride had no idea how to get it moving...lol. So, she called maintenance, he rebooted everything. Then finally without any fair warning of a launch, it took off. I was sort of expecting it to launch when I saw the gate open, but it caught my dad and someone else beside me off guard. I didn't notice any rattle though. That's crazy that they're dismantling it. It's getting retracked right? I saw that Double Shot is up for sale. It would have been cool if Playland got a B&M, but idk if they'd even have room.

The track came in Late. This is not a Good year for parks. Knoebels had issues with Over The top. 2018 Hopefully will be a Better year. :)

When I went to great adventure, I went to Playland’s Cove. I saw Galeforce and decided not to go on it because nobody else wanted to go it with me. Definitely super scary and intense. Some people said it was scariest thing they ever went on.
NoBro512 definitely the strangest coasters I’ve been on. It was really fun but rough as all hell. I literally said how rough it is in the parody.

Those latter two are intamin their coasters always break down. Kingda Ka at SIx Flags GADV is always broken too even though it never seems to be "always closed" sometimes it seems like it might as well be.

What's funny is that in a comment section I saw people angry about hydrus being approved before galeforce, and they were speculating that the state had a bias against playland. So you're not too far off

B&M is overrated
Not nearly as much as Intamin, but true. There stand up's were terrible. I don't get why their giga coasters are praised so much, they aren't different at all like 1305 or Millenium Force, just glorified oversized hypers in style. Now if you ask me if every big park should've have at least an inverted by them and a floorless, yeah they really should. I enjoy the dive machines and wing too. However, the flying's are super overrated, freakin Vekoma did a better job a long time ago and they at least used too make painful coasters. Still at least they don't make constantly broken coasters like Intamin (TTD, Kingda Ka, Excelator, others have more downtime than any). They also never had the guts to make a 4D coaster which is kind of pathetic considering superior track technology in the least. Those stupid vest restraints showing up on their new coasters are also ruining proper airtime.
