Every time I hear Tom speaking, I just close my eyes and focus on the soft tone of his voice.. the rhythm is so delightful and the words sound outworldly ... He could just be reading a cake recipe and I would still lose it

I finally started watching Night Manager in late 2023 and was blown away! The story, the acting, really everything! In 3 months I’ve now binged it 3 times and have also become a huge fan of Tom Hiddleston. Can’t wait for season 2 which is due out in 2024\2025. I was the same with BBC’s Sherlock, Outlander, Homeland, Madmen, and even The Mentalist. I also love reading and fully immersing myself in a good book, so, like the group being interviewed, I see the correlation.

That comment about Tom Hiddleston fading into the wallpaper was quite telling. The interviewer obviously thought he was a standout. So did Julianne Margolies, I think. She seemed to like his questions and comments a lot. I think there was some chemistry going on there. Anyone else think so?

Hes definitely faded into the wallpaper a bit at this point. Probably due to his choice or too much publicity he got with you know who and the back lash from his golden globes speech. Poor dear. I also feel that his fanbase kinda lost interest in him too
PrettyTiaF That is so not true. He is more popular than ever. Thousands went to see Tom in Betrayal in London and in NYC. I saw it 5 times. He chose to take a break for a year or so but was out and about to keep himself in the public eye. Now, once the pandemic is over, he will finish the Loki series for Disney+ and will go right into doing a 10 hour series called White Stork for Netflix. Never underestimate his popularity or his talent, for that matter.
Ok i’ll definitely be on the lookout for White Stork. I never underestimated his talent just society (especially American) perception of him. I hope the Loki series does well but something tells me it wont bc the Loki hysteria is a bit too late since Avengers are over and he was barely seen in End Game and Infinity War. We will see

in his effort to remain private after sharing so much of himself before, he has been so revealing lately. between this, his esquire article, and him anne thompson he has really cued people into the sacrifices he makes to work, coupled with the irony of being beloved but having a less than decent showing in the theatres . i feel bad for his frustration. it cannot be easy to be worshiped globally and then to hear his performance is great, but the movie is less than desired.

Odenkirk is such an egomaniac. Everyone else is so generous and listening to one another in interaction. This roundtable tells me that comedians need to prove that they aren't so damaged that they can't be productive in interaction.

This was done in the advance for the 2016 Emmy Awards show -- actors have been nominated for Emmy Awards. Vanity Fair does the Actor on Actor series where two actors interview each other. Actor on Actor series pick new actors who made a big movie or big show for that year or actors who are in contention for film or TV awards.
Hopefully, Tom will get invited back on acting roundtables or the Actor on Actor series for his new Apple TV+ series, The Essex Serpent.

This was a good panel discussion, but can somebody please tell me why they speak so SLOWLLLLLY!!! LOL! Well, not Jean Smart, she talks like a real person! LOL!
It would be irritating to watch TV Shows as they actually would have been filmed. But the kind of 2012 Loki doesn't feel like the one you see in the TV Serial. Not only because simply the actor got older..also because of the loss of roughness. He (Character)has a more softer expression like in Ragnarök. It was/is a funny show but some things doesn't fit together.
Can't believe Julianna Margulies is still invited to these roundtables with all the shit she pulled on the set of The Good Wife regarding the character of Kalinda. She should be blacklisted for such a display of pettiness and unprofessionalism.
She's a producer on the show and SHE IS the show. Like it or not, she can have any attitude she wants.

I don't think you're aware of what happened there. Don't be so fast siding up with Kalinda lady. Every cast member, crew member, journalists, are on Margulies' side. Panjabi is rumoured to have been a nightmare to work with. Look it up
She can have any attitude she wants, but the attitude she displayed seems very, very unprofessional. Real professionals can suck up personal issues with other actors and work together on a scene for a couple days, at least. No scenes together for over 50 episodes? Completely dropping that aspect of the show? That's ridiculous, and it reflects poorly on her and the other actor. Of course, maybe it wasn't her - maybe it was all the other actor's unwillingness to work on a scene. I don't know. Whatever it is, it's very unprofessional.
Lawl the fuck you on son, literally everyone on the cast praised the shit out of Archie Panjabi. Read Matt Czuchry's reddit ama he went in on how great it is to work with Archie. And when someone asked what's it like to work with Julianna he replied "she's professional." That speaks volumes.

Luke sucks at his job, not just for the Taylor Swift fiasco, but also Tom should be doing advertising campaigns for big companies like Rolex, Ralph Lauren, Fred Perry and such like if he was promoted right. But Luke has no idea about branding. Hopefully, Tom has been doing some reflecting and reflecting and revamping in 2020, and gets people around him who can do better
