very helpful as well as pleasing to watch & artistic too - afraid I've been heavy-handed with succulents so it's good to see how to actually do this. Thank you

Hello Peng! very nice succulents. Have you ever planted succulent seeds? If so, what is your experience and do you have some tips? Also, how many times do you water your plants? Once a week or less? Or is it by the need of the plant?
Hello, lovely succulents and pots! What is the name of the last Echeveria that you potted up - the big one with no stem? Thanks in advance. Kind regards from Australia. ♥️
I have an odd question. Your very tall succulent in this video, would it not have been better to cut that stem down some and let it root rather than having it so tall? This is what I have been told to do with ones that start to get long stems. Is this really just a matter of preference or is there a reason why you left the stem so long? Absolutely love your videos and your pots are stunning.
Thank you for the video.. very clear instructions especially for the beginners like me.. bought around 50 succulents and its dying one by one and shedding the leaves from the tall succulents. May I know why? Are we allowed to put slow releasing fertilizers for the succulents? Thanks :)
The biggest killer is Over watering . Leaves falling off sounds like too much water . If your plants are in wet soil then repot them as shown here and do not water for, at least one week may be two . Only water plants when the soil is absolutely dry then water until it comes out of the drainage holes ....then leave for 1 to 3 weeks . The compost is important it should have plenty of grit or and perlite ; it should drain quickly ....as you watch it .. not stay on the top more than 30 seconds.
There is no one straight answer for how often you should water succulents. I am in the process of making some tutorials and will be posting them soon :)
Hi Helen, you can use pot without holes but it's harder to judge when watering, also not very good for the roots health, so it's difficult to keep a succulent alive in a pot without hole, I would suggest you make a hole or get a pot with hole.
They grow to the size of the pot, you can control the size. When there's new heads, they will find ways around each other, if you don't like the shape, you can always take the baby heads out to propagate them.
Those pots are so adorable 🥺🥺

Hello dr. Nice video. Just wanted to ask if you used a special soil for planting them?

btrphlyksz818 hi I got mine from China.
how your plants got those beautiful colours?
Sunshine and time, with patients to take care of them.😊💕🌵
I have an odd question. Your very tall succulent in this video, would it not have been better to cut that stem down some and let it root rather than having it so tall? This is what I have been told to do with ones that start to get long stems. Is this really just a matter of preference or is there a reason why you left the stem so long? Thank you. As long as the plant is healthy, you don't have to cut it down, long stem can be very stylish and bonsai looking. 😊
verry good and informative, also very nice and relaxing accent
Thank you. 😊💕

Kaviddhamani Krishnamurthy - where are the succulents? Are they in shade? Some need full sun while others might need part sun. Don’t overwater.
The biggest killer is Over watering . Leaves falling off sounds like too much water . If your plants are in wet soil then repot them as shown here and do not water for, at least one week may be two . do you water them right away? If no, how many days before watering them?
I would wait a few days.
are u still watering them atleast once a week even after transferring that to a mixture of rock and soil?
There is no one straight answer for how often you should water succulents. I am in the process of making some tutorials and will be posting them soon :)
Is adding pebbles at the top just aesthetics or necessary for succulents?
Anubhav Kapoor it’s mostly for aesthetics, in some cases does help succulents.
hi, question...how do you plant newly cut heads without roots yet?
Hi it's the same as the ones with roots. 🙂
@@pengsucculents can we plant it right away or have to air dry for a few days first?
may i know what kind of soils are they?🙂
I mix the soil myself, multipurpose compost with some different gravels, depends on what I get, I sell them on my Etsy shop. search pengsucculents.
Do u water it immediately after potting?
I'd wait for a few days at least, then depends on the weather.
Hi , i am helen from the Philippines, can i use pot without holes?

I love your pots. Where did you get them?
www.etsy.com/your/shops/PengSucculents/tools/listings/594078721
so will these still grow?
Dara Prom yes, they still growing
Yes, they will grow.
I’m in UK would love to setup a succulent Internet business .. can you be my guru
Is it okay for the succulents to grow in small pots? What if they grow big and wants to multiply their babies?
They grow to the size of the pot, you can control the size. When there's new heads, they will find ways around each other, if you don't like the shape, you can always take the baby heads out to propagate them.
Where I live you really have to try to neglect a succulent to kill it..
I use my bare handsto pot no tools xd
Please blow your nose so you don't need to sniff when you're being filmed. Good information.
