    Oh my goodness... Literally! My order came in yesterday and I was so excited I forgot to take photos. They were BEAUTIFULLY packaged as they gift they are! You took such care in packaging my huge packs of babies, thank you! I've ordered from other places that were just thrown together in tight bundles crushing and ruining them. Yours are perfect!🤗 There are varieties in here that I've never seen in person. I am so please with my order and it came in so quickly! I haven't had those but a day but wanted to order more time I opened the box to see those gorgeous toddlers! I was impressed as well that out of over 100 plants, only 6 leaves fell, and that means new babies!🤗 Thank you for such a wonderful experience! Again, I am more than very happy!

    I tried propagating from leaves before. Was a newbie on cns back then. I failed so I stopped trying. Until recently, one leaf propagation became successful, I did not intentionally propagated it, it just grew there on its own. That gave me hope. Now Im trying to propagate again. Hoping they'll grow like how yours do.

    For one reason or another, i haven't ever had success using this method :(
    I've had a bit of success propagating them in water.
    But i have a ton of success by simply letting the cuttings form a callus, and then just barely poking them into soil. That's how i do it everytime and i never see anyone else doing it but, it WORKS!
    I love all of your videos, btw 💞💞

    I was doing it wrong by placing the newly plucked leaves from my echeveria on top of the soil without waiting for a callous to form first. Surprisingly, though, I've had good success. I need to tell myself to WAIT until the callous forms in 3-5 days by keeping it separate, like on a shelf or some other dry surface. Thanks for your great tips.

    I’ve been looking for a video like this for weeks!!! All I could find were tic toc videos of some people in another country doing propagations but only music in the background and nothing narrated. I was so frustrated until now! I tried reporting a beautiful trailing succulent and it completely fell apart. I cried my heart out but knowing I can start over and multiply this plant by propagating is giving me hope. Can you please share what type of soil you use for these? Thank you Ms. Theresa!!! ❤

      @@ChopstickandSucculents thank you. I’m excited that you replied! I live in San Diego and this heat is killing my plants. I just recently overwatered the most beautiful succulent plant I wish I can show you a pic of and it started to lose its leaves so someone told me to maybe repot it and when I tried this it completely fell apart!! Turns out that I had overwatered it due to this heat. I didn’t know that I could lay it out to dry so it’s too late now. I was a day too late from finding your video on how to treat this problem. Now all I can do is propagate but idk if it’ll ever turn out the way it was. I’m so sad about it 😞.

    • @ChopstickandSucculents
      @ChopstickandSucculents  6 лет назад +1

      You can mist when the roots are not yet anchored in the soil. You can also use squeeze bottles. Once well rooted, the soil can be thoroughly wet as omg as the soil will dry out quickly. So flat shallow squares are great to be used for propagation.

Or can you just mist some water over all of it? I'm trying out my first propagations from my very first succulents so I'm trying to learn as much as I can!

      You might have bought the plant already over watered. Make sure to stop the roots from absorbing more but placing the plant in a well-ventilated area but away from direct sunlight.

    Great video congratulation is very informative right to the point. I am a beginner and you answered most of my questions. I just have only one left to do if you please. After developing roots and put in it in the final pot, Should I put it under direct sunlight or in direct sunlight or in a shady place. Thanks 1 million congratulation again and have a lot of success we will keep you watching you.

      Roger Rabbit always provide bright indirect sunlight when they are still very small.

      Sunil Kumar it depends on what species you have. Look for succulent plants with low light requirements, such as: Sansevierias, Haworthias and some Crassulas.

    Hi Teresa, when going out of town for 2 weeks how should I care for my leaf propogations? They are outside in indirect sunlight. Will they be okay left unwatered for 2 weeks time? Thank you!

      They would be fine without you for 2 weeks. Water before you leave. Anyway they are outdoors.

      @@ChopstickandSucculents Thank you so much! I guess my worry was they are outside but not able to get rainfall. Would that matter. I will definitely water beforehand. :)
