Oh my goodness... Literally! My order came in yesterday and I was so excited I forgot to take photos. They were BEAUTIFULLY packaged as they gift they are! You took such care in packaging my huge packs of babies, thank you! I've ordered from other places that were just thrown together in tight bundles crushing and ruining them. Yours are perfect!🤗 There are varieties in here that I've never seen in person. I am so please with my order and it came in so quickly! I haven't had those but a day but wanted to order more time I opened the box to see those gorgeous toddlers! I was impressed as well that out of over 100 plants, only 6 leaves fell, and that means new babies!🤗 Thank you for such a wonderful experience! Again, I am more than very happy!
Welp my neighbors thought their jade plant was dying and i said heck no I’ll fix that. And just today i gave them back a smaller version and said here have this i was able to save this part and now she has a brand new plant and is super happy. I kept a couple clippings i asked her and now i will have a couple jades my self now.
I gave jade plant's cuttings to my mother. She has big plant now. My plant died, but i have his "grandchildren" back from my mother's home :) And from now on I keep a little kindergarden of mostly all my succulants
The best part for me was setting expectations about how long it would take. If I hadn’t seen this I would have most likely grown impatient and thought I was doing something wrong. Thank you for making this very helpful video!
I'm so glad you mentioned that some take a few months to form..as patience is not my virtue...you really have the most informative videos!!! Thankyou so much! Hugggs from Houston Tx
Very helpful! It was great you showed what a failed leaf would look like in different circumstances such as too dried or rotted Very helpful for beginners I'm still in the process of drying the leaves out so I'm hoping for the best!
Thank you so much, I have started growing succulents for cancer charity shop this year with limited success. Your video has been such a massive help and go on to help so many people. Thanks so much ❤️🇬🇧
I tried propagating from leaves before. Was a newbie on cns back then. I failed so I stopped trying. Until recently, one leaf propagation became successful, I did not intentionally propagated it, it just grew there on its own. That gave me hope. Now Im trying to propagate again. Hoping they'll grow like how yours do.
For one reason or another, i haven't ever had success using this method :( I've had a bit of success propagating them in water. But i have a ton of success by simply letting the cuttings form a callus, and then just barely poking them into soil. That's how i do it everytime and i never see anyone else doing it but, it WORKS! I love all of your videos, btw 💞💞
Had to place an order today. Your plants are all so pretty and healthy. Watched un boxing AGAIN at Succulent Greenhouse, so many pretty plants. Can't wait to get mine.❤❤💞💞💞
I was doing it wrong by placing the newly plucked leaves from my echeveria on top of the soil without waiting for a callous to form first. Surprisingly, though, I've had good success. I need to tell myself to WAIT until the callous forms in 3-5 days by keeping it separate, like on a shelf or some other dry surface. Thanks for your great tips.
Wow. This video by far is the best I have seen on leaf propagation. Thank you! But i am having alot of problems with my cactus propagations and fixing rotting ones. I will be looking into your other videos now. Thanks again.
I’ve been looking for a video like this for weeks!!! All I could find were tic toc videos of some people in another country doing propagations but only music in the background and nothing narrated. I was so frustrated until now! I tried reporting a beautiful trailing succulent and it completely fell apart. I cried my heart out but knowing I can start over and multiply this plant by propagating is giving me hope. Can you please share what type of soil you use for these? Thank you Ms. Theresa!!! ❤
@@ChopstickandSucculents thank you. I’m excited that you replied! I live in San Diego and this heat is killing my plants. I just recently overwatered the most beautiful succulent plant I wish I can show you a pic of and it started to lose its leaves so someone told me to maybe repot it and when I tried this it completely fell apart!! Turns out that I had overwatered it due to this heat. I didn’t know that I could lay it out to dry so it’s too late now. I was a day too late from finding your video on how to treat this problem. Now all I can do is propagate but idk if it’ll ever turn out the way it was. I’m so sad about it 😞.
I tried to propagate my succulent from leaves but it was failed thanks god i found your channel i learned something now i am going to try your tips how to propagate from leaves .
Hi, I began to propagate my succulent leaves about a month ago and all of them grew nice pink roots. Only 3 of them have babies but the rest are just roots. What can I do to get the babies growing from those that are just roots? Thank you 😊 and I love your channel! Truly inspiring.
I started off with 50 different types of succulent leaves and started to propagate them two months later I had absolutely nothing not a single one with anything to show for so as I was going towards the green spend the amount I noticed one had roots just a small amount but they’re still friends I was so excited that I decide to put them all back and now I have three .go my little baby pups and grow.
Can you make a video on what supplies you would need to begin succulent propagation? I want to start but don’t know what trays to buy, holes or no holes? And just what basic supplies you need to get started. I love your videos, Thank you!!!
I just propagate a few succulents he was a totally feel but as you say I’ll just have to try it again and again and again and still I lean! Thanks you for showing us your Process
Short but very complete information on how to propagate thru leaf cuttings, will definitely try and will let you know what happens after. More power to you and your channel
You can mist when the roots are not yet anchored in the soil. You can also use squeeze bottles. Once well rooted, the soil can be thoroughly wet as omg as the soil will dry out quickly. So flat shallow squares are great to be used for propagation.
Oh my goodness, that is amazing! I have my very first leaf sending out a root and I'm so excited. May I ask, what soil do you use? Mine are on coco coir with a little cactus mix and perlite. You soil looks very different. Thank for your help.
This is really the most helpful information I've seen about propagation, you explained things very well! I know this is an older video and might not be seen by anybody, but when you wet the dirt that the leaves are lying on, do you remove the leaves, mist the dirt and then put the leaves back? Or can you just mist some water over all of it? I'm trying out my first propagations from my very first succulents so I'm trying to learn as much as I can!
That really helped a lot. I love succulent but they are a bit expensive here . I tried propagating but all the leaves dried out ...now i know now..will try again..i love your garden and your variety of succulent. .can you make a video of what grows faster? Thanks

You might have bought the plant already over watered. Make sure to stop the roots from absorbing more but placing the plant in a well-ventilated area but away from direct sunlight.
