Hey, Everyone! Please note that the tip of the leaf is not touching the water in the bottle! 😁 it should be hanging above the water!!! 😁 please also note that the succulent that I used for the experiment and the succulent that I used for the plucking demo are 2 different succulents! 😃Do try this technique and see for yourself! Please comment your result here! We all would love to hear how yours turned out! 😃😄 Please also check me out on www.patreon.com/succulentfame Thank you! 😊
Stephanie Nesbitt i saw a propagation video using water. She would use shot glasses instead. She would tape 2 toothpicks together and insert the leaf between so that it’s hanging above the surface of the water😁. I thought it was too tedious. I have been collecting tiny bottles for a “message in a bottle” project and I thought i could use those to suspend the leaf above water. And so I did. I was surprised that it worked faster. 😃The tip shouldn’t touch the water at all. It should be hanging just above it. 😁 to make sure that the result was more accurate, i bought the succulent from the garden center. The succulent that I used for the propagation demo is different. That is not the same succulent that I used for the experiment.
The point I have learned is that the tip doesn’t have to touch the water. If it does I think may rot. I put leaves around the edge of a water feature dish and they grew well so I did it again and was more diligent with topping up the water resulting in soggy tips. So your presentation has been a light bulb moment for me and I’ll search out the dish again for another go. Thanks...Patricia
I'm so glad this experiment helped a lot. I would see all sorts of ways to propagate that's why I decided to make this experiment. All the best to you! Happy propagating!
Thank you, Cameron! I highly suggest that you try this and see for yourself what works! I would love to hear which one worked best for you! :-) It is very interesting to try since there are a lot of ways out there!

I felt like I had seen a spoiler! I read an article awhile back that, in simple terms, said that in the sun, a plant will focus on sending energy into existing leaves. In the dark, a plant will focus on root growth and new growth. So, if propagating by leaf cuttings, put in a dark room so it will grow roots and new leaves. Also, if beheading or "topping" a plant, when you put that top into soil and you want it to grow new roots, put it in a dark room or keep it well shaded for awhile - I don't remember the exact time, maybe a week or so? That way, the plant can focus on growing new roots. Go figure! Great to see the article confirmed with your results! Awesome experiment, thanks for sharing!
EpistemeUM that’s a very good input! 😁 i never really figured out the logic why i got better results inside. After reading your input, I see the logic now! Thank you for sharing the info!
I still would prefer propagating it by a window. The dark room rooted really fast, but they were really fine. Thank you so much, Ana! I really appreciate your comment! Happy planting! ❤️☺️🌈
You’re welcome, Leslie! And thank you. I really appreciate all of the comments. People’s views are so interesting. Wishing you all more blessings today and always! ❤️🙏💫
Succulent Fame I really appreciate all the time and effort that went into sharing this experiment with us. I want to thank you for sharing such a positive message with the world at the same time. Sometimes we can feel so helpless to change it, but it does really start with you and me. Wishing you many blessings, peace, joy, and love along your journey. Keep up the beautiful work. 💞😊
Even though I came across your video in a melancholy mood because all my succulent propagations are failing, your happiness and warmth brightened my day. Thank you.
Awww…It’s heartbreaking when they die. I’ve had my share. I’m so glad my video helped you. It’s always my goal to make someone’s life a little better in my own little way. I hope you are still growing succulents. They are always worth another try. Huge apologies for the late response. I’ve been so busy. I’m sloooooowly trying to catch up on responding to comments and inquiries. I can’t believe I’m 1 year behind now. 😔😅 Thank you so much for comment. I really appreciate it. Wishing you more blessings, love and good health! 🙏❤️💫
It is September, 2019. The garden centers have a lot of stuff on clearance now. I picked up some succulents for a song in little "fairy" pots, and now I'm inspired to go back to the store and collect all of those fallen leaves they sweep up and throw out and bring them home to propagate. Yay! Great video!
That’s actually a real clever way to grow one’s collection. Some leaves would actually sprout on their own, only to be swept and thrown in the trash. Poor little baby succies. ☹️ Thank you for sharing the info about the clearance, too. I really appreciate your comment. More blessings your way! ❤️🙏🌈
I love how much your personality shines like the 🌞 sun! Thank you for filing the world (and RUclips) with kindness and knowledge of succulents. I love how vibrant your soul is! I can tell that these plants truly makes you happy, and I enjoy your content! Thank you for helping me not only replant my succulents, but for making me smile and feel that life will all be okay. 2020 has given me more anxiety in one year, than I have endured in my entire life. Your videos help wash it away! So thank you, truly! And have a happy, positive week!! ❤️🤗
Hi Nicky! I’m so grateful for your comment. These past 12 months hasn’t been easy for everyone in this whole earth. Every little nice word means so much. I feel I should be thanking you more. Huge apologies for the late response. 😅 I’m sloooooowly trying to catch up on responding to comments. I’m about two to three months behind right now. 😔😅 Thank you so much for the comment again. I really appreciate it. Wishing you more blessings, love and good health! 🙏❤️💫
Thank you thank you!! I was just reading pretty much the same experiment you did, only it was from a peer-reviewed scientific journal...your videos are so easy to follow, pleasant to watch, and the surprise self-improvement tips are such an awesome combo ☺️ very happy I found your videos and channel, and thank you for being just a really awesome individual overall. (This is my first comment on RUclips ever! You're the only channel I've come across that deserves to receive all the good thoughts back and more for all the positivity and thoughtfulness it's providing ...🙏 Thank you, again!)
Thank you for the kind words. It is a real honor to have received this kind of comment. Huge apologies for the late response. Thanks so much again. I really appreciate your comment. Wishing you more blessings! ❤️🙏💫
Hi Sheila, thanks for this experimental video, loved it! Its amazing how the leaves rooted above the water......I was thinking that if you put some chicken wire over a bowl of water you could do a whole lot of leaves at once.......Also thank you for your advice on being kind to others and acknowledging them, it does not cost anything to give someone a smile.........its soooo infectious.......almylove Pammmmmmmy from South Africa.
Hi Pam! That’s such a nice message! Your idea is great! Yes, that should work as good! And you are so right! 😁 giving someone a smile does not cost anyone anything, so why not? 😊 It’s so nice to hear from you! 😁
Thank you for taking the time to do this and also posting it. I just "dismemberd" my tipped over and broken 'ucculent. This video should make life a lot easier. Now I just need about 20 international flights to obtain the small drink bottles I need. 😁👍
You sure can improvise. A bowl with plastic film on top works, too. Just poke holes and insert the tip of the leaf. I hope this helps. Thank you for this comment. I really appreciate it. ❤️☺️🌈
I took the time to do my own experiment since I would see all sorts of ways out there. In fact, I have seen someone who left a leaf in her car and it still propagated. I encourage you to try these experiments and see for yourself. It is so rewarding. I'm hooked for life. :-)
Thank you for the detailed information. I like the fact that you showed where exactly you had kept them. That way we get an clear idea of how much direct or indirect light it should be exposed to 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you for the comment, Asha! My apologies for the late reply. 😅I have just started responding to all of comments again. I’ve been so busy. I think I found a way to start making videos again. 🤞So, we’ll see! 😊Wishing you more blessings, love and good health! 🙏❤️💫
Hands down the best propagation video I've seen on succulents. Bought some clippings through the mail. It's been years since I've had houseplants. Raising my kids. Can't wait to see the results!
Glorious.....that's what this video is, answered all my question by conducting this experiment and save me time from trying it myself. I haven't been able to fully propragate leaf cuttings, especially the more softer leaf rosettes. Now I have something to go by and try. I will let you know how it goes. I was totally taken by surprise by the dark room one, although, I put a couple of them in my closet due to the temperatures starting to drop now and to my surprise one of them started sprouting. Thanks again can't wait to get started.
Yeah, I didn’t expect that, too! 😃 It’s just that the roots that sprouted in the dark room looked really fine. So, I think the best one is still by a window and still indoors. 😃 Thanks again. What’s your nickname? So that I can address you properly next time. 😁
Hello! Thank you so much for this nice comment and my apologies for the late response. I was busy preparing for my family’s 4th of July week trip. I really appreciate your kindness and patience. Blessings to you! ❤️☺️🌈
i have not had much luck with leaf propagation of my succulents. But the ones I tried with no watering at all just dried up. I will try the little water bottle next. I do enjoy your videos and your message.
Hi Lisa, I really encourage people to try different techniques of propagation, since there are multiple factors that affect it. In the winter, as long as they are in a heated home, they would propagate even without misting. Spring would be a perfect time to propagate, too. It gets trickier in the summer. I’m so glad to hear that you are relentless with your propagation. Thank you so much for your kind words. I really appreciate it. ❤️☺️🌈
Hi April, thank you! How are your succulent propagations doing? Huge apologies for the late response. 😅 I’ve been so busy. I’m sloooooowly trying to catch up on responding to comments and inquiries. I can’t believe I’m 1 year behind now. 😔😅 Thank you so much for the comment. I really appreciate it. Wishing you more blessings, love and good health! 🙏❤️💫
After decades of growing plants hydroponically I've got it in my head that plants need water, but now that I'm doing succulents I'm going to believe in your results. Thank you very much for the great experiment.
But guess what, for some reason, without soil, most of these succulents would grow in just water. I have been growing some in water, too. Thank you so much again for leaving this comment! I really appreciate it! Blessings to you, over and over again! ❤️😊🌈
Hi Sheila! Thanks for the video but more importantly, thanks for just being you! I love that you put inspirational messages in your videos. You are such a cute person and this world needs more people like you in it. Thanks again 😁
Thank for these sweet and kind words, Katie! Words like these inspire me to go on. 😃 You’re welcome, but I think I’m the one who should be thanking you. Your comment means a lot to me. I really appreciate it. ❤️🙏🌈
I am surprised by these results. I am in the process of using the method of having my succulent leaves laying on potting mix, by a window, and getting misted every 2 days. I only started this 5 days ago. The experiment where you were growing the leaf from the top of a bottle with water in it (but not touching the leaf) really surprised me. I think I might try this technique also.
Hello Margaret, these succulents just seem to want to propagate whichever way they want. I had some leaves in an open box and they sprouted roots, too. They are super resilient and very driven to survive. Thank you so much for the comment! Huge apologies for the late response. Wishing you the greatest of health, the biggest of blessings and the purest of love! ❤️💰🏆
Sheila you are helping me so much! I am trying hard to root some of my leaves and the whole first batch died because I watered them noe I know better after watching this video again. Thank you so much for the helpful information. On to the next video. Have a nice day Chauchetta .
I'm so glad to hear that, Chauchetta! I think my other video about watering succulents will be very helpful, too! I really appreciate your comment! Comments like yours inspires me a lot! 😀 Thanks again! All the best to you and all your endeavors! 😄
You should try some by just laying them on a table. Nothing else. No water, no soil, no nothing. I lay mine on the table or even a paper plate or whatever the surface may be, have them under a grow light and they grow amazingly. 😊
Yes, that works, too. Thank you for the comment. My apologies for the late response. I’ve been so busy. 😅 Wishing you more blessings, love and good health! 🙏❤️💫
You're welcome! Best of luck to you with your propagation! Seeing baby succulents is soooo much fun! Thank you so much for this comment. I really appreciate it! More blessings to you! ❤🙏🌈
You’re welcome, Mariano! More importantly, thank you so much for this comment! I really appreciate it. Best of luck with propagating. More blessings to you!❤️🙏🌈
Thank you Sheila for this informative and positive video. I have been propagating succulents for a few months now and I’m having so much fun watching these little babies form! I have been confused on the misting as some other videos I’ve watched say mist daily, every other day, or not at all. It was great to see these different methods. They all seem to work! I love that you encourage us to do something kind for someone else. Jesus told us to love ❤️ the Lord your God with all your heart and soul and mind, and love your neighbor as yourself. The world would be a better place if we all did this.
Hi Lori, that is so true. You have expressed that really well. As for misting, I think tips vary due to difference in temperature. There would be days when I would need to mist daily (especially in the summer) and not at all in the winter (they are indoors, too). In the fall, sometimes I would find myself misting once every 10 days. (And more often as we start using our heating system). This is the reason why I would encourage everyone to try new things. There is just so much variance in our growing conditions. I hope this explains things a bit. Thank you so much for your very nice words, Lori. I really appreciate it. Blessings to you! ❤️☺️🌈
Thank you for the comment again, Sandra! Huge apologies again for the very late response. Wishing you the greatest of health, the biggest of blessings and the purest of love! ❤️💰🏆
Hi Shiela...i love your video. I have just started collecting succulents and wanted to multiply them. Thanks for your very inspiring methods and i am grateful that i've found you, i just did it a while ago. I am from Phils.
Hi Nelie! Kumusta? Thank you so much for your kind words. I really appreciate it. Happy Planting! Sending my love and inspirations from Brentwood, California! ❤️☺️🌈🌵
This succulent propagation experiment is both fun and educational. Definitely going to try the water bottle method because I do love my succulents. Thanks for posting this awesome video and for all of your creativity and patience. Can't wait to see more, more, more!
Hi Eliza, thank you! Huge apologies for the late response. 😅 I’ve been so busy. I’m sloooooowly trying to catch up on responding to comments and inquiries. Soft succulents are the ones I had problems with rooting because I sprayed them and the soil causing them to rot, but, thanks to you and others on youtube, oh youtube too, I no longer fear owning these beautiful and sometimes odd plants. .thanks again.
Thank you so much for the awesome, upbeat, and fun video! I really appreciate you including the links for the different items you used in the video, that was SUPER helpful!! Keep up the Awesome work!
I have both liked and subscribed. How could anyone not like this channel? Some people are just old fuddy duddyies, I guess. I have just started a succulent collection, BTW. I started with a Jade and Echeveria Perle von Nurnberg. A leaf fell off off the Echeveria and I have decided to use your techniques and information to repopigate it and give it in another pot as a gift to my sister.
Thank you for the comment again, Dale! My apologies again for the late reply. 😅I think I may have found a way to start making videos again. 🤞😊Wishing you more blessings, love and good health! 🙏❤️💫

Awesome experiment and video presentation!!!! I have plans for a succulent garden. I can't wait to try some of these techniques! I'm going to start with a jade that is already in my window and try the bottle technique. I usually just put the fallen leaves in the dirt. Thanks for sharing! Very scientific for a home test project!
Thank you, Sally! Your technique of putting it in dirt actually works, too. The bottle technique is just to speed up the process by 3 to 5 days. 😃 If patience is one of your virtues, ‘on soil’ is fine. 😃 Thank you again for the nice words. I really appreciate it. ❤️🙏🌈
Thank you again, Sally! 😃 I found multiple ways as I was searching through the web and everyone was claiming that their technique is fastest that’s why I decided to do it. 😃 I was so focused on the results that the amount of work and time I had to put into it 😅 was simply just part of the process. 🤣😆
Thanks for the helpful information! On top of the big stuff regarding propagating succulents, your suggestion of using an egg carton made me smack my forehead and say "DUH! Why didn't I think of that?" Thumbs up!
Thank you so much, Nelson! I’m so glad I was able to help. 😁 Your comment is really funny. 😃 You made my day! 😆 And you’re welcome! I really appreciate your comment. 🙏🌈
I just want to tell you that you are such an amazing soul, your Ora is absolutely beautiful! ❤️ you inspire me 😊 keep on being the amazing woman you are! Inspiring, uplifting and giving life to the world around you! Xoxo
Thanks for this video I seen a succulent but couldn't get except as a leaf cutting so will definitely try the glass bottle and fingers crossed they grow
Hi, Amy! You're welcome! Thank you so much for the comment. I really appreciate it. Huge apologies for the very late response. Wishing you love, blessings, health and happiness! ❤️🙏💫

hi, thanks for the great share. I propogate them by diving their plucked tips in soil and leave them by the window. it took 3-4 weeks to grow but the process is fine.
azy 's wow! I’m so glad to hear that! 😊 that’s another great technique! 😁 thank you for sharing. what’s important is that it’s calloused or if it’s a fresh pluck, that the soil is dry. I really appreciate that you shared your technique, Azy. 😃👍👍👍
Sheila, I appreciate you! It's so important to acknowledge someone for doing a good job. Take it a step further and let their boss know. They hear about the bad things but it's good to let them hear the good things.
You’re welcome! Huge apologies for the late response. I’ve been incredibly busy. I’m really hoping to find time to make more videos soon. I’m keeping my fingers crossed. I had two pieces of succulents but decided to have cacti instead because my succulents eventually died and I didn't know how to propagate them and how to take care of them carefully. So, I bought another batch of succulents and your video is very helpful. Thank you so much! Are you Pinoy? :)
Hi Jannen, yes, pinoy po dito sa US. 😁 I’m so glad to hear that you bought another batch. I think this time, you’ll succeed. Thank you for leaving this message. I really appreciate it. More blessings to you and all your endeavors. ❤️🙏🌈

Thank you so much for your videos!!! I love my succulents and have wanted to propagate for a while (I have accidentally propagated by knocking out leaves and leaving them in the pot) but I’ve read so many different ways of doing it but it’s always been so unclear what way is the best way, your video inspired me to finally try it for myself! Thank you so much for doing this experiment! I hope mine work too! 🤞🏻
These succulents do find ways to propagate in so many conditions. They never cease to amaze me. 😊 Sometimes when I knock off some leaves, I just toss them under the mom plant and they would sprout. 😃 Happy Propagating! Thank you so much for your comment. I really appreciate it. ❤️☺️🌈
Hi! I actually tried both. Both ways worked just fine. My apologies for the seriously late response. Thank you so much for the question. I really appreciate it. Wishing you more blessings! ❤️🙏💫
Thank you so much for the comment. I really appreciate it. Huge apologies for responding too late. Wishing you love, blessings, health and happiness! ❤️🙏💫

No more dark rooms! Scared 😳 me! Thanks for all this work! Helpful! If you have big size, im going to get a crazy succulent lady shirt! Wow! Just watched to the end of the vid! Dark room worked? Need to watch again...
Hi! hahaha I'm sorry about the dark room! From this experiment, it seems like succulents are just so strong-willed that they are such survivors and would propagate in any kind of condition. Yes, we do have big sizes. I love that shirt design, too! Thank you so much for looking into the shirts and thank you for the comment. I really appreciate it. Huge apologies for the very late response. Wishing you love, blessings, health and happiness! ❤️🙏💫
livelifextraordinary Thank you so much! I really appreciate the comment! 😁 i just believe that we are all capable of making this world a better place...and that we all should have that as one of our purpose. 😊 If only every person on earth would focus on what’s good and positive, right? Well, easier said than done, but we can try...right?
Hello Graham, those are two of the most beautiful succulents! 👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️ I would suggest that you wait for offshoots or babies and separate them as propagation, instead of doing leaf propagation. Thank you for the inquiry. Wishing you more blessings, love and good health! 🙏❤️💫
Hello loved ur video it will help me alot I'm new on succulents, also do you know name of succulent that is in ur scren on the right bottom thanks🍀💚🍀💚🍀
Hello, unfortunately, I’m not the best person to ask about succulent identification. 😅 I have way too much in my collection that I’ve lost track of the names. Thank you for the comment! Huge apologies for the very late response. Wishing you the greatest of health, the biggest of blessings and the purest of love! ❤️💰🏆

I was at my brother’s party and his friend brought a lot of those miniature liquors and they were just throwing them away after, so I asked for them. Now, I’m so glad I did. 😊 Huge apologies for the late response. 😅 I’ve been so busy. I’m sloooooowly trying to catch up on responding to comments and inquiries. My apologies for the late reply. 😅I have just started responding to the rest of the comments again. I’ve been so busy. I think I may have found a way to start making videos again. 🤞So, we’ll see! 😊Wishing you more blessings, love and good health! 🙏❤️💫
Hi Evelyn, based on what I’ve been seeing with these succulents, they don’t seem to need misting until after you see actual roots growing. This is also granting that the leaves are not exposed to very high temperatures. How warm does it get out there? Thank you for asking your question. No need to apologize at all. Blessings to you! ❤️☺️🌈
You’re welcome and thank you, Rangini! My apologies for the late response. I hope those who are waiting for a response from me will read this, too. Just recently, I made a decision to respond to newer comments. I have been trying to respond to older comments first, hoping to catch up. But I haven’t been successful. So instead of trying to do that (‘cause now, I’m a full year behind) I’ll start responding from newest to oldest. Thank you so much for the comment. I really appreciate it. Wishing you more blessings, love and good health! 🙏❤️💫
Hi Stephanie! Thank you! Happy Propagating! They’re gonna be so cute! 😊My apologies for the late response. I appreciate your comment and patience when I’m not able to respond promptly. 😅🙏Thank you so much again!
Hi, Dale! Awesome work! That’s nice to hear! Thank you so much for the comment. I really appreciate it. Wishing you love, blessings, health and happiness! ❤️🙏💫
Hi Valerie, yes, you sure can. Huge apologies for the late response. 😅 I’ve been so busy. I’m sloooooowly trying to catch up on responding to comments and inquiries. I can’t believe I’m 1 year behind now. 😔😅 Thank you so much for the inquiry and for your patience. I really appreciate it. Wishing you more blessings, love and good health! 🙏❤️💫
Thank you so much for the comment. I really appreciate it. Huge apologies for the very late response. Wishing you love, blessings, health and happiness! ❤️🙏💫
My apologies for the very late response. 😅 I have been so busy. Thank you so much for this kind comment. I really appreciate it! Wishing you more blessings, too! ❤🙏🌠
I tried leaf in bottle for about a month. Nothing happened. Also had leaves on top of soil, nothing happened, about a month. I ended up throwing one of the mother plant away I think of disease, became mushy, could be overwatering. I’ll try again. Thank you for your reply earlier.
Hello Marie, some succulents dont propagate through leaf. What kind of succulent are you trying to propagate, if I may ask? My apologies for the late response. I hope those who are waiting for a response from me will see this message: Just recently, I made a decision to respond to newer comments first. I have been trying to reply to older comments first, hoping to catch up. But I haven’t been successful. So instead of trying to do that (‘cause now, I’m over a full year behind), I have been responding from the newest to oldest. Thank you so much for the comment. I really appreciate it. Wishing you more blessings, love and good health! 🙏❤️💫
Hello Marcel, half an inch could work. In fact, I tried keeping them in a box and they propagated, too. That’s w/out any soil. 😊 Thank you for the comment. My apologies for the late reply. 😅I have just started responding to all of comments again. I’ve been so busy. I think I may have found a way to start making videos again. 🤞So, we’ll see! 😊Wishing you more blessings, love and good health! 🙏❤️💫
I think the water evaporating from the bottle really help it to propagate. We had 3 days of heavy rain here, and everything feel soggy, but during that time lots of my leaves propagated (just sitting on a tray never misted or watered). Now I wonder if you can have the same effect putting the leaves in a basket with lots of holes, and hover that over a basin of water.
I do think that could work, too! Thank you for the comment. My apologies for the late reply. 😅I have just started responding to all of comments again. I’ve been so busy. I think I found a way to start making videos again. 🤞So, we’ll see! 😊Wishing you more blessings, love and good health! 🙏❤️💫
@@SucculentFame haha the time between the comment to now, I have accumulated so many plants. now I just leave them where they are, and pick up the ones that propagated and strong looking. The real test for survival of the fittest 😂

Hi there! I think this video will have all the answers to your question. Sprouts, What's Next? How to Propagate Succulents PART 5 ruclips.net/video/uU5Bh8Mv4GI/видео.html Thank you so much for asking. I really appreciate it. More blessings to you! ❤️🙏🌈
How did you discover this method? I am trying to figure out how to use it without tiny bottles because I don't have any
Stephanie Nesbitt i saw a propagation video using water.
Succulent Fame i Love it to Try
Finally! A scientific method to compare propagation methods, thank you!

I felt like I was reading life's best metaphor... thank you for sharing that !
I loved that tiny bit about appreciation. It really lifts my spirits
I’m so happy to hear that, Jesus! Thank you so much for this comment! I really appreciate it! ❤️☺️🌈
Excellent idea! Thank you.
You’re welcome! ❤️
A scientific method to compare propagation methods! How awesome is that.
Thanks a lot
Thank you so much for your comment, Andres! I really appreciate it! These succulents are so rewarding and fun!
I took the time to do my own experiment since I would see all sorts of ways out there. In fact, I have seen someone who left a leaf in her car and it still propagated. I encourage you to try these experiments and see for yourself. It is so rewarding. I'm hooked for life. :-)
Ok
Thank you, Lisa! Best of luck with your succulents! I really appreciate the comment. Wishing you more blessings, love and good health! 🙏❤️💫
Your kind words changed my day !! Thank you for all the information and wonderfully kind loving thoughts ! You are amazing
Thank you so much, Izabelle! I really appreciate that comment. Thanks again! ❤️😊😃
Thank you, I just subscribed. I have been doing my propagation the long way for years, I appreciate your willingness to share your results!
Thank you so much for the kind comment, Savannah. I really appreciate it. Wishing you more blessings, love and good health! 🙏❤️💫
Hi Sheila
I have watched some of your videos and they are really awesome. Like your clear explanation and your positive demeanour. God bless you!
Hello! Thank you so much for this nice comment and my apologies for the late response. I was busy preparing for my family’s 4th of July week trip. I really appreciate your kindness and patience. Blessings to you! ❤️☺️🌈
I'm completely shocked and very pleased with your experiment!! Thank you for this info! I love your videos 💚
Thank you for the comment, Chris! Wishing you more blessings, love and good health! 🙏❤️💫
i have not had much luck with leaf propagation of my succulents.
I am a beginner, and am trying the water propagation. Thanks for the tips. Your experiment was great!
Have a nice day
Chauchetta .
You are a lovely person!! Thank you for the tips and kind words too!!!☺️

Hi Fran, I'll be looking forward to that! Best of luck to you! Thank you for leaving this comment. I really appreciate it!❤🙏🌈
Hi Sheila, Thank you for the tips! I just started propagating my Echeveria using the water method. I'm still on day 2, hoping for great results!

Your welcome. I am impressed how you thought to do this experiment that way.
Why didn't I think of that?" Thumbs up!

hi, can i ask if you air dry the leaves before propagating it or did you propagate it after plucking it from the succulent mother?

hi, thanks for the great share.
This was really helpful and well done! Thank you for sharing your experiment with us. Also i love how positive you are keep up the great work!
Thank you so much for these kind words, Sina! ❤️ I really appreciate it! ❤️🙏🌈
Sheila, I appreciate you!
It's so important to acknowledge someone for doing a good job. Take it a step further and let their boss know. They hear about the bad things but it's good to let them hear the good things.
That is so true, Frieda! Thank you so much for this comment. I really appreciate it. Happy Holidays! ❤️☺️🌈
Very nice lady! Thanks for taking the time to do this thoughtful experiment.

WOW! I’m definitely going to try this!
Thank you for the comment. My apologies for the late reply. 😅I have just started responding to all of comments again. I’ve been so busy. I think I found a way to start making videos again. 🤞So, we’ll see! 😊Wishing you more blessings, love and good health! 🙏❤️💫
What a great video. I love how you did a step by step video on what you were talking about.
Rachael lala thank you so much, Rachael! I love sharing positive messages and fun things with people! I’m so glad you liked it! 😁
Wow! I will try that bottle with water ^^. The method i am using now is outdoor without watering. It's starting to roots now.
Hi! Yeah, that works, too! There are so many ways to propagate. Thank you so much for the comment. I really appreciate it. ❤️🙏🌈
Were all these leaves dried first, or freshly cut? Thank you.
Hi! I actually tried both. Both ways worked just fine. My apologies for the seriously late response. Thank you so much for the question. I really appreciate it. Wishing you more blessings! ❤️🙏💫
Extremely attractive methods and I Love your message of appreciation. It's TRUE that appreciation activates a person's true potential.

They look so precious, aren’t they? Thank you so much for this comment. I really appreciate it. ❤️☺️🌈
I love this video, which means I am doing it right, I just simply laid them on the soil without misting. Yehey. I will try in a small bottle. Thanks
Thank you so much again for the comments! Happy Planting! ❤️

I love your spirit
livelifextraordinary Thank you so much! I really appreciate the comment! 😁 i just believe that we are all capable of making this world a better place...and that we all should have that as one of our purpose. 😊 If only every person on earth would focus on what’s good and positive, right? Well, easier said than done, but we can try...right?
Hi madame. I have an echeveria rainbow and a compton carousel. What would be the best way to propagate them please. I would love to multiply them😄😄
Hello Graham, those are two of the most beautiful succulents!
such a positive video ☀️💚

Perfect re-purpose for the small liquor bottles!!!!!!!
Do you have to wait until the leaf callouses before using any of your methods?
I used to do that, but not anymore. I found out that either way works, Josh. Thank you for the comment! My apologies for the late reply. 😅I have just started responding to the rest of the comments again. I’ve been so busy. I think I may have found a way to start making videos again. 🤞So, we’ll see! 😊Wishing you more blessings, love and good health! 🙏❤️💫
Hi thanks for the video! I'm sorry if I missed this, so I don't need to mist or water the soil at all for the first time? Thanks!
Succulent Fame hi thanks for your reply! I put it in my room with aircon but with no direct sunlight.
Thank you very good explanation
You’re welcome and thank you, Rangini! My apologies for the late response. I hope those who are waiting for a response from me will read this, too. Just recently, I made a decision to respond to newer comments. I have been trying to respond to older comments first, hoping to catch up. But I haven’t been successful. So instead of trying to do that (‘cause now, I’m a full year behind) I’ll start responding from newest to oldest. Thank you so much for the comment. I really appreciate it. Wishing you more blessings, love and good health! 🙏❤️💫
Will try the inverted bottle. Thanks for info. Well done.
Hi Stephanie! Thank you! Happy Propagating! They’re gonna be so cute! 😊My apologies for the late response. I appreciate your comment and patience when I’m not able to respond promptly. 😅🙏Thank you so much again!
I am propagating on soil w/ misting wen gets extremely dry. Out on my lanai- in SW Florida - I get quite a few of rooted leaves
Hi, Dale! Awesome work! That’s nice to hear! Thank you so much for the comment. I really appreciate it. Wishing you love, blessings, health and happiness! ❤️🙏💫
I got a question. When little flower grown off the side of a succulent can I cut them off and plant them into a pot??

Wishing you more blessings, love and good health! 🙏❤️💫
Hello. Just want to confirm how much soil. Is it half an inch thick? If I’m not mistaken i heard 2 inches thick on your other video. Thank you.
I REALLY hope I can get some to prop. My kids really REALLY want to see them grow!!
Thank you for the comment. My apologies for the late reply. 😅I have just started responding to all of comments again. I’ve been so busy. I think I found a way to start making videos again. 🤞So, we’ll see! 😊Wishing you more blessings, love and good health! 🙏❤️💫
what do we do next after the new leaves have formed? do we cut it from the original leave and directly put it in to a new pot?
Hi there! I think this video will have all the answers to your question. Sprouts, What's Next? How to Propagate Succulents PART 5 ruclips.net/video/uU5Bh8Mv4GI/видео.html Thank you so much for asking. I really appreciate it. More blessings to you! ❤️🙏🌈
