Its a classic case of "An Operation was a Success but Patient Died. VEP tag 2. 0 online application is a frustrating process since 2019. Even the helpdesk admitted the delay due to high volume of applications . Also there are system failures by default not supporting existing accounts and deregistering at TCSens centre in person may not be convenient to many If deregistration not done, account not activated and T& G ewallet not linked obviously the VEP Tag application will not proceed. Its just waiting until the "cows come back". In simple everybody is right, the minister and his team is right but the customers always have the final say, the system is not right.

I hope the reporters can pose him a question and convey on what's the response time for the process of de-registration and new registration of new owner (for pre-owned car owners) . It's so dumb. Send it the docs to the general query email. No reply back. Nor giving a stipulated timeline on when we will get a response back. It's like going into one black hole and then never hear back. Unlike with our Spore LTA. If you send our LTA an email, at lest they will respond back with an automated email that they will reply back in a few days time. Malaysia VEP process really screw up ....
Secondly, pls don't say Malaysia cars going to Spore need to follow our rules too. Pls see the daily number of Msian cars with dark tinted windows and loud exhaust pipes going into Spore. I don't see any local media here in Spore about our local LTA enforcing strict enforcements.

Why not take this opportunity to explore local destinations , it could be just rewarding.. at least there is no possibility you could be jailed or fined ..or threatened by minister ( 2:51 if u don’t meet their requirements )
