Solution : Don't Go.
just go...if later Malaysia currency rise you will regret 😢
Nobody cares
Malaysian cars will have very smooth highways to travel then.
Yes, over time, Johoreans will use Malaysian cars and they will enjoy beautiful and hassle free journey back to their home and shop of cos. VIP service for Malaysian cars.
@@blacksheepshepherd I sure singapore avoid going in..those we saw 4th oct onwarda mostly the relieve PR, malaysian workers driving sg company's car and those malaysian workers that stays sg can rent sg cars and can balik kampung..they escape VEP..thanks to the pusing2 minister...
The problem is on the application for pre-owned car which we can't find the previous owner to deregister and thus not able to apply it for the new owner. And to make matter worse even after sending the authority an email with all the documents required, there is no response from them after 6 weeks. Therefore setting up more installation stations don't help at all.
They need to hire Singapore's talent to fix their system 😅
just need 70% to boycott this vep from Sg, settled. let their economy and internal politics implode, done. no need vep anymore
Hope this VEP can survive the next government. We did see 5 PM in 6 years, and each with his own agenda.
To maintain/enforce VEP is expensive for Malaysia.
After 5 years many cars will reapply VEP again. 😂 system can cope?
In other words, he is trying to say that VEP has failed and to avoid the shame, he tried to blame it on Singaporeans
He is not answering.. Hes basically turning it around and around in circles.
I applied since 2019....I re-applied when it announcement many months ago. The process is taken too long. Recently only approved, the tracking shown delivering since 20 Sept 2024. Till now, i still waiting for my VEP Tag.
I was given an appt around mid October and that's the earliest available during mid August. After I awared there are 2 more new collection center being setup, try to reschedule my appointment to earlier date but to no avail and yet he said these few days has lesser car turn up for the said purpose and blaming other reason. 8:37 8:37 8:37
Why never address the hassle for car have already been registered by old owner and did not deregister. So new owner can't register because chassis have been registered to old owner.
Agree. I drive a pre owned car...Talk so much hot air..but don't address issues from pre owned car owners..
Brother loke, we dont wait until dateline then apply.. is your system and your people wait until last minute then process our application. We applied since june, until now still waiting for tag to send us . 🤦🤦
Stop finding excuses for ur system incompetent
Singaporeans no lanpa. The Malaysians want your money and yet laugh at you. Recently just because their currency is up and economy is doing better, they are saying soon you these diehard going JB for cheap goods will soon need to work for them.
need to work for them ?? what are you talking about ivan 😏
actually mr loke, why are you keep saying singapore do this do that and you country will do the same? i just dont understand 🤔 if you think msia need to do this VEP project due to the increase in summon , stolen car issue , just say it... but ps dont use singapore do it, then we had to do it also... very funny. As a minister of transport, you dont have your own preference...
Was in Holiday Plaza and heard shops lamenting fewer customers
Quiet place
"The moment we give a certain time frame they will wait until that particular date only then they will do the un application.' -quoted 9mins 56sec
Aint that defeat the purpose of make using SG to apply? No U-turn but no hard enforcements.
This is simply a stupid idea and unproductive. Nothing better to do.
This is to catch sg cars from evading traffic offences which i think alot of them never pay up
PAP should allows Malaysian Passport Holders with S-PR to drive Malaysian cars in Singapore, likes other Permit Holders and S Pass under Car-COE policy. In HDB policy, S-PR are foreigners, to wait for 4 years to open market flat. Thai is not implement VEP to Malaysian Cars. Melayu Johor are happy with peaceful Johor Bahru, with majority 20,700 tickets in election. PAP U turn is only way to solve this Malaysia JPJ-VEP.
@@SuperANDREWTAN there's actually a much easier solution. Put up a plate number reader at the entry/exit customs. Read the plate and boomz!, check against their records and see if that plate has any outstanding.
Simple, no?
Malaysian cars will have very smooth highways to travel then.
@@dolwangga do you really think this is feasible? The easiest way is to get those car owners to have a sense of honesty and a little bit more integrity to pay up then malaysia side dont even need to come out with this vep. Simple right? Actually this vep thingy was already there long time ago and i got mine done few months before covid. So just follow the rules and requirements of other country. Don’t forget we are taught that the world is govern under rule based system. Follow the rule. Simple as that
Aiya. Just admit u cannot manage lah. Anyway kudos to Loke, no U-turn. Only do 3 point turn.
Mr Loke, you're not prepared with the system, and don't penalize people. You're to be blamed. You talked big a month ago. U turn now you making soft approaching why JB business affected. Come on, you are not prepared, accept the fault. You know you are losing money.
Wait to see in the system collapse or with sink hole.... 😅Akan datang...
All stuck at Application stage how to book installation. Find a better excuse lah
What if in the future for those who want to change or buy a new car without VEP tag, do they need to reapply for a new VEP tag from scratch??
Mail box is always full and unable to submit the relevant documents that were requested. I tried more then 10 times and still unable to sent the documents
Minister being disingenuous in parts. I as a Malaysian do know the issues personally as a relative has been struggling with application and lack of feedback or even acknowledgement from JPJ for the last 4 months..
Lousy system and management.
😂 Putting the blame on Singaporeans when it is his fault that they aren't capable of handling the amount of applications.
No minister in the world would say such a thing and assume citizens of neighbouring country would delay and so they wouldn't provide a time frame as if it's not their fault that the process is delayed, unprofessional and incapable.
If you want to enter be patient follow the local customs, rules and apply for permits no need to be errant. Good luck SG plates.
This is just plain embarrassing, an unacceptable governing standards to Singaporeans. While I'm sure Malaysians are used to their standards and ways of governing. The minister even has the cheek to compare their security standards to Singapore for their personal data storage/usage.
How come nobody ask how long will the process take for register the vep? Like 3 months..etc
Make it sound like is singapore drivers fault. Cannot admit poor implementation. Singaporean unite. Dont go for the time being.

@@hoshinotshennya nobody is saying dont follow msian rules. I am sure most sgpean applied per instruction. I have also applied for vep months ago. I am still waiting for it.
One should try applying for it to understand the frustrations many drivers faced. Sgpean unite !

Five years already, lousy system!
This minister is a joker..now the issue is that the VEP process was way too long..now how can you simplify or expedite the process. Give solutions or timeline...not talk and talk.
Loke rhymes with joke
SINAPOREAN.....PLS DON'T GO IN TO MSIA.JUST ONE MONTH ENOUGH TO WAKE UP THEIR IDEA.AGONG DEFINITELY WILL INTERFERE....
Nobody cares
No one cares, agong car is malaysian car. Got escort too.
You're typical Singaporean.... Self important blow hearts.... Like many have said no one cared... Yes we would go bankrupt without SG😅😅😅😅
@@iee1165Dont know what some of you guys problem is. Malaysia has its rules. If you already apply VEP, then you can go in but of course you will get warning/reminder. Once you get it, then install. Whats the deal. Sg people either are all 5 year olds or complain for nothing.

"why I don't give them a time frame? Bcos I also cannot fulfill if I give time frame...like this time, I said no u turn on 1st October, but I u turn !"
I'm assured seeing this once in awhile
iItried at least 100 over time to apply the VEP .asked me to create an account ,i created but system said i already have an existing account. when i used my existing account ,it appear on the system asked me to created an account again .This thing goes on and on .The whole system is a failure.mr. loke
Problem for family cars and rental cars used by several different drivers. .
Balls to him....ask any retailers in JB if SG customers are impt or not....
Remember if Singaporean did not go to malaysia( johor). Johore economy will fall supermarket and shops will close.

This is my Minister! Great job!
your head ah...
Work else where, build your fortune , come back retire
since some e-wallet issues are like car rental business and certain car sharing cannot share the e-wallet, i wonder have Malaysia ever think of implementing using the malaysia cash card and then put into our IU for payment when driving thru the malaysia gantry?
We will comply your country's laws. Pls give us some time to understand and learn the process of successfully applying for the Vep. We appreciate your understanding.
Good job Minister Loke, JB finally get some rest....
1st 2 days u said drop in ppl go in install vep.. of course la brother!!! U said 1st oct without vep cannot go in, those who didnt see news of course dont dare to go in install . Wah piang. Talk more sense please
learn , listen and copy from those who are better than you, not compete. Change the motto to Malaysia Boleh Belajar (learn) , not just Malaysia boleh. Then you will be awesome and compete.
i want to renew but i cannot submit my VEP due to e-wallet not active since april , may i ask where can i go to get help? as i email to JPJ but no reply at all. Activated e-wallet but still under verification , woodland cannot made appointment as too many car rushing getting the tag, how about those got issue with the submittion??
Go to TCSEN Danga (only Danga can do it) and go straight to counter 7 w/out waiting for your queue number to be called.
Minister, u inform the public but are your staff at the ICQ thoroughly briefed? Coz they usually are clueless and give wrong information. Pls also check with them also la!!
Talk macam yeye la. Own system fail don’t wanna admit, just tolak to the motorists. 🤡
Mark your words (Anthony Loke as transport minister in Malaysia) let’s see how many years later you do the same for thailand’s car in the north!
We must apply early rather than taking ur time
Malaysia Transport Minister Anthony Loke IS A JOKE
Well done, Menteri Loke...
Can Mom consider relaxing the quota to allow more China workers to come here? Malaysia is doing well now and they don't need to work here soon. So an alternative source is good.
Stupidest system. So uncoordinated and no planning. Paid my vep and approved says every thing will be done in 7 days. One month later no news. Multiple emails sent to them. No response. Typical Malaysia style service and quality
Don't forget too ,, driving a motorbike in Malaysia in a day time needed to turn on the head lights,, Hai perlu ke system begitu
You are not being "fair" to Sg drivers when you said in your first press meeting that there is "no u turn". It is because you VEP application system suck and non functioning that why you come to this solution of giving warning (no limit....). Just admit failure of your VEP system lay. 😂
Best Minister in Malaysia... Anthony Loke
well we got to learn to respect malaysia administration. give them time to sort it out.
VEP saga- JB retail businesses suffer low foot print to their shops.
In order to regain Customers confident to spend money again in JB, this system has to scrap temporary or permanently.
Weighing again the pros and con, VEP does not bring in much actual benefits to JB and Malaysia , it push away many new and old tourists by car.
Bear in mind, majority of vehicles entering to Singapore is to earn money, majority of vehicles entering JB is to spend money.
Well the VEP online system is lagging, hanging, froze and can't download docs.... That's why people went to TCsen to manually apply register and pay....😂😂
Lousy system
your one time is already so difficult to apply. i give up going in malaysia boleh. i hope other follow
Typical of malaysian gov. Always force through without much planning.
These VEP is nothing new. Their own Malaysian have been that fed up the RFID system whete is often now working at the toll station. Causing delay over decay. Instead of abolish, they force Singaporean car to use it. He is really harrendous, hillarious misbehaving.
Please expedite and deliver Vep tag by post as soon as possible
Payment system need to be resolved.
How about thailand register vehicles & brunei register vehicles? Did they need to apply for the VEP?
Went to check letter box after receiving text to acknowledge receipt of the tag. Still Boh Lay. 😢
Plan to fail
Fail to plan
Malaysia always has plans but fails at the implementation and maintenance stage. 😅😅😅
Ah Loke is pretending to be unaware of the registration issue.
Haha just like sg mrt switch to new wallet system..yes only SG can do things right first time. Its ok.. if too difficult don't come. Manage your own cost of living in SG
Finally i received the rfid tag, paste on my car and took photo as requested. Emaied to them.
Received their email the next day (So efficient for the first time!) said my application was unsuccessful due to colour of my car not the same as written on my vehicle card. What the joke! Dark blue is not blue!😂
Hi, if the VEP is link to the TnGo apps, then how will I drive my brother's car to JB ? The TnGO apps need facial recognition in order to enter the apps. If I can't access the TnGo apps while driving his car, how will I know if the TnGo wallet have enough money. This is damn confusing.
Can use pin to login
Send money with your TNG to the TNG wallet that RFID is tied to
The VEP centres just cannot cope, they are fully booked everyday, how to get an appoinment?
