You know I really love these documentaries of Behind-the-Scenes happening in Singapore. I just feel so proud of our men and women keeping our borders safe. As well as the countless others who maintain the systems and grounds of these places
These are the guys who work day and night to not only protect our borders but to also protect our society,build up of families, from being damaged by illegal drugs and contraband items. They could easily take a bribe like how some officers do in other countries. But our officers chose honesty and showed their utmost passion and dedication to their jobs. Thank you for your service.

This is not a random day. It is a long weekend (national day), so its probably specially chosen as traffic is ezpected to be heavy. But yes, surely there are many other worse periods, such as CNY, Hari raya, and the school holidays.
I saw the FRT abang at the train checkpoint heading back home from JB. Was during the long weekend and this abang handled the crowd really well especially with his loud stern voice 👏🏽👏🏽

Singapore ICA refers to Malaysian as "travelers," a term of respect that avoids shaming or exposing their nationality. On the other hand, at the Malaysian checkpoint, they label everyone entering as "Singaporean" even if they are not Singaporean seemingly to expose or shame Singapore country. This behavior reflects animosity towards Singapore. I deeply admire Singapore for treating everyone with such respect and dignity. It truly highlights the difference in attitudes between a 1st world country and a 3rd world country.

I was travelling back and forth from Johor Bahru to Singapore. As Indonesian, the immigration clearance was pretty quick and smooth, except the first day which took 4 hours queuing in Woodlands due to friday night 😭 The officers were friendly and helpful. Great job ICA!

a great documentary! we take the smooth and safe operations for granted. i am always amazed the checkpoint can manage as well as our neighbours if not better given the limited phy space and manpower we have.

I did go to Malaysia by bus during eve of PH & the crowd really really worst 😢 i actually wondering how ICA manage to detect those smugging case, I thought it just a random check & lucky to found smuggling items 😂😂😂 . Woodlands Checkpoint and Johor Bahru (JB) Checkpoint are among the busiest land checkpoints in the world and deserve a spot in the Guinness World Records. Nobody can deny how close our relationship is with our northern neighbour.
This is just the SG side. Wait till you go to the other side. That's the REAL chaos. 🤣 When you go back and forth regularly between SG/MY you don't even think too much about it, let alone think about just how these folks at ICA keep the busiest international border crossing in the world running. This documentary really puts it all into perspective. They may look a bit cranky sometimes (I mean who wouldn't be, having to do what they do??) but they are efficient and smooth and get the job done.
I'll be more curious to see coverage on the Malaysia custom side. See the speed of the officer chopping the passport and how many officer relaxing one corner

I used to live and work in S'pore back in early 90s till mid 90s. Back to my homeland after that. Back then S'pore was the Best country to live and work in the World. After almost 40 years, Spore is still the Best country in the World according to different travellers and different travel & tours websites from every corners of the World.

I believe Malaysia has lost that third world status in the 1990s. It has since been classified as an industrializing nation.

Border crossing is a stressful experience for everyone involve and I commend all officers that have patience more than they should (most of the time)
