No sorry to say, but he was very fachionated by bull figthing, and he wanted to go to Spain to learn it the right way. He would never ever had played the part in Blood and sand, where he is seen in a spanish arena next to a dead bull. He also liked to hunt different animals, not for eating but for the sport in it. I adore Rudy just like you, but I will not put a side the truth for the passion.
Rudy loved his animals, but Kabar was very close to his heart, thats why the stupid people who came after his death did not even have the heart to put the poor thing down. Kabar had a a terrible life the last years of his life, because Rudy was gone and Kabar tryed to find him but of course the distance was to long. Kabar died in 1929 of a broken heart skinny and ruined, and these people should love Rudy, no they loved his estate and goods.. Kabar is in heaven because all animals goes there, they belong to God. They could not even put a birth date and a death date on his stone, because they did not know anything about the poor thing. Kabars destiny makes me so angry, because it was Rudys own family who came to loot, and that they could not even do for him......
