- After a very stressful day of driving battling mechanical problems with the Sprinter, Daisy's Rescue arrived back at Lily's Haven at 11:59 last night. We are so glad to welcome these 52 precious dogs to their new lives. They will obviousply need some help in the coming days, but we know things are only going to get better for them. I usually watch the entire video but after watching about 1/3 of it I had to stop. So great what you do but we need to unite and push for laws to shut down every puppy mill. It can and should be done! It’s heartbreaking. I have 3 dogs, 2 of them being rescued and all are Yorkies. One was a puppy mill breeder and he was so broken. The latest rescue is an 8 1/2 year old that was passed around from one home to another. Throw away dogs I call them because as soon as they have medical problems or behavioral problems they are thrown away. How I hope that all of these sweet babies will find forever homes and not be thrown away because they have problems. Love them for their flaws too. God bless.

and given forever homes with wonderful "pet parents." It is high time we brought stronger
laws into existence, and enforced them, so that all the barbaric practices finally get
stopped. Animals are a great gift, and we should be taking loving care of them. Bless you!

Puppy mills are monsters
This is the video that made me believe I would one day have a Shih Tzu Mill Mama. I couldn't make it to NMDR, but I did find my little Mama. She's a seven-year-old black and white Parti girl named Squirt. My super-senior Chihuahua, Peanut, helped her get comfortable in our home, and now she serves as a Guide Dog for the Chihuahua who has become totally blind. They are perfect together. Thanks for this video and all you do.
some humans will exploit anything to get money without having to work hard for it. seriously those people should get a real job & leave these gorgeous creatures alone

Everyone mistakes a Lhasa Apso for a Shitzu, I’m certain that one of the beautiful dogs you rescued is a Lhasa Apso.
Shitzu’s are a very ancient breed, bred between a Lhasa Apso and a Pekingese, bred by the emperors of China.
The Lhasa Apso and the Pekingese are an older breed, the Lhasa Apso is recognised as one of the oldest breeds of dogs in the world.

I am so surprised that they let you touch them. Often they are so fearful that they will bite due to stress. So great to see them get trimmed and loved. Hope they all got future homes to be loved forever.

One thing that has always amazed me is that these poor dogs that have usually been neglected and or abused their whole life, are taken from the only place they've known by strangers put into cages in a vehicle and then off loaded to other strangers (especially in the dark), and not only do many have wagging tails/kisses to give, but I've never seen anyone bit, or even growled at. The amazing ability of dogs to adapt, forgive and still be able to love humans.
Thank you for the wonderful work you do.There should be time in jail for people that physically & mentally abuse animals. They are like little children that depend on us for their needs. Dogs are so forgiving and loyal, it just breaks my heart beyond words to see any animal anused. I did!nt see not even one dog that was agressive, they just seemed to know they were in loving arms now, & on to a better life.
With all the hateful, angry negative crap that is going on in the world, I ALWAYS know I can tune it out. Instead turn to my animal rescue videos. My heart is warmed, my spirits lifted. And I know there is hope in the world, and love.

As I have tears streaming down my face, my heart is breaking at the state of these dogs. What must their lives have been like? I had a Shih Tzu for nearly 17 yrs until I lost her in Feb 2020 and would love to adopt 1 or 2 of them, but, unfortunately, I live in Australia. How could the breeders sleep at night with these precious fur babies in such a state of neglect. They should be ashamed of themselves and I hope they are prosecuted!! Go to local shelter they have all types of dogs … if you have to have a certain breed, only get from people that have both mom and dad on premises, don’t buy through mail!! Or pet stores !
