Lee Asher is the patron saint of all dogs!!
My Chihuahua girl was from a puppy mill. She was a puppy when I got her in ‘02. She was my baby girl. She was an amazing dog. She passed in 2018 at 16 and a half years old. She’s buried in the back beside her cat brother who helped me raise her. That’s why I can’t leave my place. I can’t leave them. I have two framed pictures of my girl and I carry her picture in my wallet.
I'm so very sorry for your loss and can understand why you don't move out. This is the reason I have my fur babies cremated once they pass, so I can take their ashes with me when I move. Cherish the beautiful memories of your beloved pets. They'll help you heal. Take care. 🫂
@@piarademacher4024 I do have the ashes of one cat when I lived in an apartment. Taco’s urn is on my bedroom dresser. I think of my girl and my past cats all the time. I will, thanks.

I cry with every one of Lee’s rescues. He loves them so wholeheartedly, and wants to give them the best life possible. Lucy is going to be in the best place she could possibly be for her life.

This one ripped my heart out, seeing the extreme sadness because her babies had been taken from her while she was nursing them. I shudder to think of their fate. God bless the folks who rescued her & I hope with time she will be happy again.

Oh my goodness this breaks my heart knowing how much she's been through as a breeding machine. But she now couldn't be in better hands. This man loves her and loves all his babies. What a good life she is gonna have from now on. Thank you for all you do for these poor dogs that have to be rescued.

She had to be mourning her puppies. I remember after I gave birth I had to leave my daughter in the NICU in the hospital for a few days. I couldn't sleep I felt like someone to my actual limb literally. I hope she fully heals in every way. Thank you!

A friend of mine has a black lab that was rescued from a puppy farm, named Lucy. She has severe problems with her hips from being forced to breed, but she's the best dog I've ever met. She's like an endless fountain of love; she'll approach everyone with a big smile and a wagging tail. I think she's afraid of her owner leaving or abusing her but he showers her with affection and they are inseparable. Dogs don't hold grudges, they just love no matter what, which is amazing. Love seeing this beautiful girl make friends that will protect her 💞

I can only say that Lee is the big daddy of rescue. He has done so much for these puppers and all his other beautiful animals. His sanctuary is such a wonderful place for all these beautiful creatures to live out the rest of their blessed lives.❤
I have a rescue pug who was a puppy mill mother. When she lived at her foster mum's, she used to chase ball with a golden retriever and bump him while running so she could get the ball. All the food bowls for cats and dogs had to be placed on high surfaces because she'd eat everything in sight.

Innocent baby, I love retrievers. Dogs provide endless love yet we send many off to their doom. Why? Because nobody can care for them. We bred them, we owe it to them!

It always breaks my heart to see a broken dog, all animals should be loved and Lucy was not. But any dog that goes to the Asher home is absolutely loved and spoiled. He is able to connect, love and heal these traumatized dogs. He seems to speak dog and despite having so many animals (dogs, cats, farm animals, etc) at his sanctuary each one of them is cared for, exercised properly, and absolutely loved and given a safe place to heal. She couldn't have went to a better home.

She truly reminds me of our Golden mix from 1995 in Nome Alaska. She was so very sweet. Adopting her was the best decision ever. She crossed at age 17.

Lee recieves allot of money he rescues a limited number of dogs. Most he can. Money needs to go into prevention. He has 200 new acres. Should be used to educate people on the horrors of a dogs life in the wrong hands.
