Got it at 1cm this baby. The pain was unbearable and the waves of nausea and sickness were untouchable! They gave me meds in my iv that made me feel drunk but didn't stop pain. So to let me rest I got it. Managed to cat nap and slept thru my labor waking up to be turned. Then woken up to push. VBAC baby born on valentine's day

My first baby my contractions were literally paralyzing me and my nurses were still refusing to give me the epidural( I think they were afraid to give it to me me too early . They Gave me a bunch of other things that kept making me sick.. and then finally gave me the epidural and I was able to move my body and rest and then I had my baby 4 hours later.

It may have been the doctor's orders, but that's too bad....

I just had a friend who had her 10th, she'd had previous cesareans, home births and hospital natural births and decided she just wanted to enjoy it and got the epidural. I love that there's lots of options!

I want to go to my labor natural, I am 35 weeks, my baby is already head down since 3 weeks. It's my first baby. I would like to get an epidural, but only when I decide I want it. Before I want to walk and move a lot. 3-4 cm is too early for me I don't want to stay in bed for hours and hours....
Can I ask for epidural later?

You totally can! But, when you're wanting something for pain; I recommend just getting the epidural rather than something else. Honestly, if you're doing great -- I say keep going. I have more info on epidurals here: pregnurse.com/category/labor/pain-management/

What if i dont have a doctor provider, they keep rejecting my appointments because im late in my pregnancy. Will they still give me a c-section or an epidural ?

I guess it depends on your country and the standards there. In the US all women will be given treatments (including an epidural or cesarean, if needed )when they are in labor. You really do need to find a provider that will take you though. Keep calling around.

Your videos are helpful but your rate of speech is so fast it really gets difficult at times to understand what you were saying. I am sorry but since English is not my first language it would be great if you could slow down a bit while explaining for people like us.
    Thank you

Oh no! I'm sorry about that. I will definitely keep that in mind (I do caption all of my longer videos).

You can adjust the speed of the video. Change the playback speed and slow it down. Hope that helps!
