Hi Chaz, I just happened upon your channel. I’m an immigrant, but I came legally in the late 80’s with my family. We waited the few months to get approved for our visa status, then applied for resident status and a green card after several years. As a child I had to give my fingerprint, and sign an affidavit that said I would uphold the laws and values of America. That I would pay my taxes, not commit crime and be a benefit to this society. I actually remember it even though I was just 11 years old. I am now 53 and I have upheld my agreement with the US. When you come legally you take these promises seriously because it’s an honor to be part of a society.

My mother who is 62 years old walking to the train station in Brooklyn saw a food delievery young kid on a bicycle being pushed around by two thugs. Three cops standing at the station were just on their phone watching it go down not doing anything. It was one female police officer and two male police officers. My mother said something to the cop so the female went to break it up what was escalating to a fight. She said the two male officers continued to stand there and do nothing scrolling on their phones. The cops are just a presence and they don’t want to get involved because the risk isn’t worth it. This city is shameful and a disgrace.

My 10 year old daughter is afraid to get on the trains. She's seen fighting, homelessness mentally ill people shouting. It's just terrible. It's not safe. And there were still 1970's era looking pimps in their tricked out Lincoln's on Genesee St. near the old clock, Hapanowicz Bros. Meat Market had moved but was still in business and though in a different location O'Scugnizzo Pizzeria was still in business along with Tiny's Bar & Grill, but Tiny's has turned into more or less a tourist trap. Louie Tehan's corner store where we used to get penny candy and our old house at 907 Newell St. was long gone along with our neighbors (the Helmers) home as well, but I was surprised that many of the old families still lived in the neighborhood. Addison Miller Pool was still there along with Murnane Field, and Munson William Proctor Museum was still going strong which by the way, is still to this day one of my favorite museums. When Chicago Pneumatic Tool left Utica to avoid unions is when Utica started to decline and I'd really like to see that place again too, as my late father was in charge of their metal plating division and I have many fond memories of Christmas parties there. I really wish I could visit, hell I'd even entertain moving back but I will not spend money in a state who gives it away to people who do not deserve it.

We used to get by without government enforced programs before, all charities were privately operated and funded voluntarily. My family came to Mass Bay Colony in 1629, 160 years before George Washington was inaugurated the President of the United States in 1789 and the way the stone criminal two party system Globalist tyrants are running things, I believe my family will be here in this country when the next form of government takes over. I wish there was a better solution but, I really don't see one. We need a truly Libertarian system.

My mother who is 62 years old walking to the train station in Brooklyn saw a food delievery young kid on a bicycle being pushed around by two thugs. Three cops standing at the station were just on their phone watching it go down not doing anything. It was one female police officer and two male police officers. My mother said something to the cop so the female went to break it up what was escalating to a fight. She said the two male officers continued to stand there and do nothing scrolling on their phones. The cops are just a presence and they don’t want to get involved because the risk isn’t worth it. This city is shameful and a disgrace.

I happened to read your title and it intrigued me to watch. I totally agree with you. I was born and raised in NYC. I don't ride the trains any more. My 10 year old daughter is afraid to get on the trains. She's seen fighting, homelessness mentally ill people shouting. It's just terrible. It's not safe. I taught in the public school but chose to homeschool my daughter. Was the best thing I did. She's academically doing well she's sweet and well mannered. New York is not the NY I knew. I'm originally from Utica NY (the original sin city) and for the last few years I've been wanting to take my wife to visit upstate NY as we're in our 60's and not getting any younger but until comrade Kathleen Hochul's communist regime is completely taken out, I will not visit nor spend any of our hard earned money in the shithole that has become NY State.
Utica has been a city that replaced all the citizens who fled after de-industrialization with refugees from various horrible places since the late 90s.

The last time I was there was from December of 2000 to April of 2001 playing music and I gotta tell ya, it really hadn't changed at that time all that much from the 70's.
The old Boston Store was still there closed up and had yet to be sold to the college...and, all the displays and merchandise was still in the freaking store! Of course we all know what happened to the guy who owned the Boston Store.
And there were still 1970's era looking pimps in their tricked out Lincoln's on Genesee St. near the old clock, Hapanowicz Bros. Meat Market had moved but was still in business and though in a different location O'Scugnizzo Pizzeria was still in business along with Tiny's Bar & Grill, but Tiny's has turned into more or less a tourist trap. Louie Tehan's corner store where we used to get penny candy and our old house at 907 Newell St. was long gone along with our neighbors (the Helmers) home as well, but I was surprised that many of the old families still lived in the neighborhood. Addison Miller Pool was still there along with Murnane Field, and Munson William Proctor Museum was still going strong which by the way, is still to this day one of my favorite museums.

We just had a tragedy the Baltimore Bridge Francis Scott Key destroyed by a cargo ship called Dolly which sounds like a baby doll and here this kid is holding up a baby and saying she is a trick like, "ship." The transportation Secretary said that the bridge was constructed in a racist way because allegedly it could not accommodate black and Hispanic or Latino children properly it only makes sense if we take into account him bringing up the subject of migrants or minorities.
