Great walk and talk, guys, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Mister Palminteri, if - by chance- you read this comment, A Bronx Tale is a masterpiece! I’ve seen it countless times, and it holds a special place in my heart. Thank you, and Mister Quinn, for taking us through the old neighborhood. Best wishes from the Netherlands
I'm Puerto Rican I grew up in Arthur Avenue hanging out with the Italian I remembered when we made scooters out of milk crates bring bac memories .Thank you memories Collins and Chazz. I still live in neighborhood.
I saw A Bronx Tale in a crowded theater here in Chicago with my brother and father. There were so many scenes that hit home we were laughing several times. We were the only ones laughing as everyone else was silent. haha
The fact that I had to even scroll down to find this comment is a national tragedy. It should've been top comment. 'You read!?' (I don't know the font that denotes a tongue swimming in saliva or I would've typed that line in that.)
Thank you for this. A real pleasure. EDIT: I didn't say at the time cause I was busy. I actually watched the movie and went back and forth with the commentary. Really a nice experience and hats off to the both of you. Many thanks.
Thank you Colin! Preserving the last gasps of a dying NYC. The city i grew up in will never exist again. At least we have glimpses of it like this! Up the Irish❤ ☘️
This is THE BEST! I could listen to these two all day. An amazing chronicle by Chazz of life on that stoop and the real stories around A Bronx Tale (which I rewatched after this, such a great film).
This was GREAT!!!! I was born & raised at 105 Grand Street, Brooklyn, N.Y.,,,, and this took me back. I am going to be 60 this year, went to Our Lady of Consolation school on Metropolitan Ave. and can say, there is Nothing like being raised in New York. It's night & day from Northeast Pa. Thanks again Colin & Chazz P.S. Don't stop doing this show Colin. Lol, years from now, I want to see you , all gray and old doing this show, lol. ✌️ ☮️
As a matter of fact, Chazz quit acting after that day. Vos traumatized him so much that he questionned reality and existence for years after louie-beanshh
How far did they walk?! 70+ year old Chazz really took Colin out for a walk in this one! I gotta say this. Although I grew up in LA, and I really don't enjoy NYC, these videos are riveting. Keep em coming Colin!
Wow what a flashback I got watching you guys walk and talk about the old days. I had a very similar upbringing across the river in NJ, late 70's and 80's as a teen going into the city was almost a daily occurance, but we had our own vibe going in a little city called Union CIty, a stone throw from the lincoln tunnel. I always called it Little Manhattan with less crime. Strong Cuban population which also had the nickname, North Miami, but overall I grew up with Italians, Irish, jews and every latin culture imaginable. Keep em coming Colin!
This is fascinating for me. I grew up in the 70 and 80s, in Ireland, watching gritty films about New York-French Connection and Fort Apache-and these talks between two real New Yorkers really brings to life that period. I love the working class dynamic between these guys as well-the banter and humour. This is actually a big part of Irish humour too: the verbal one-upmanship, smart-arsedness, sarcastic comments and all that.
Love Colin Quinn my favourite comedian I went it New York 2018 and met him after one of his comedy shows he’s amazing loved my dad because he fought against the brits for Ireland haha
Colin you're the man and a comedy legend. Still there's a part of me that miss the more ample, edgier you that we saw on o&a and on Bobby's "robert kelly and sometimes colin quinn" 2005-ish podcast. You used to be such an absolute savage of a man. Now you're great but closer to a cool history teacher that likes to talk to the students after class
We can all admit we love Colin. He can chop it up with people at the highest level of showbusiness to the guy handing him a pastry and still be himself. So rare.
Colin and Chazz, the dream team. That`s gotta be the fastest hour in history. I just know I`m gonna be watching this many times over. Obligatory Louie beansh/Bronkish tale/You read!/He`s dodging me comment for the O&A fans. Your mom`s box.
That was freaking great. Love these guys, love these tours Colin sets up. Like he says, the particular is in the universal. I didn't grow up in New York, but people and life was much more dangerous and interesting and yes FUN in the 60's and 70's
I grew up on Cambreleng Ave and my parents and grandparents stayed forever. My sister knew you, Chaz! I love that neighborhood…. It was the absolute best place to grow up
Colin, watching this made my day....coincidentally my daughter and son-in-law watched "A Bronx Tale" for the first time this Saturday night and loved it...I forwarded them this interview....hope you are doing well...from an old Comic Strip friend....Rob Ross...thanks again

I absolutely love these walk and talks, it's been too long since the last one.
My dad worked in a TV repair shop in the 80s and 90s. It was always so fun to go see him at work. Smelled like smoldering metals and beer.
@JhonnyCash-mo2wxthis is the fordam section of the Bronx
@JhonnyCash-mo2wx was he really working then? Lol jk
Thanks for this Colin, a modern day Historian
Sweet, another episode of Cruising Colin!
“The Guinea and The Mick” podcast. How great that would be with these two iconic New Yorkers. I love you Chad! I love you Colin! God bless!
I really like the way this is produced, even the editing has a perfect relaxed vibe for the long real conversation.
The film makers on this are brilliant. Thank you for watching 🙏

Can I suggest the next one be going around the streets of Elizabeth with Lady Di and finding all the spots she uses to sleep

This is awesome. So interesting. I'm an Englishman working in Spain. I miss my vacations to Jersey and listening to old stories from my friends.
I've shared this with my Spanish friends who love the movie.
I've never watched anything for an hour where it got better every minute!

Love A Bronx Tale. But Chaz was wonderful in Hurly Burly too. Such a layered, sweet character.
