P.S. The lyrics that David changed in "The Longer I Lay Here", from "not hookers..." to "not sex workers..." was a well appreciated and respectful update. That's one of my favorite things of David is his capacity to call balls and strikes and come forward to say "Hey, I've changed, words/feelings change, and I can grow and learn from my past".
Oh, I love this. Thank God there’s still music like this …. ❤️Melodic rock via a 3 piece band with a bunch of great songs. Not much of that around .....
i remember seeing this on tour in November of 2001 at The Social in Orlando. Even though the album had just came out, there was a band member who objected to playing the song "Rapture", which is arguably the "hit"" for personal reasons. They didn't play it and nobody cared because everyone respected the decision, and kudos to Dave for being a friend to that friend.
Me too! SO GOOD. I may’ve cried a little. First saw them on the Control tour and the last time I was able to see them was in support of Achilles Heel. It’d been a long time… This was so special. :)
I really wasn't in to Erik Walters at first (especially after Andy Fitts) but he's really grown into the job, he gives it a much more alt bend to it than the goth-rock Bazan/Fitts live stuff.
THANK YOU.
I grew up with these albums. They were so formative for me. Gave me good taste in music for life.
This album changed my life
Love from Italy!
This is like a dream set. Thank you for filming/releasing this!!!
