Why does it need to be on the flywheel and not in the center
Wanted to see you do the math on that? How did you come up with .0008 to the left? Thanks for your time.
Its so much easier when the engine is out of the car....
Aren't you assuming the cutout in the bellhousing is perfectly square to the back plane of the engine, perfectly circular and perfectly centered on the engine crank centerline? Seems to me I've seen some bellhousings in my time that such an assumption would be bold indeed.
that bell housing center may of not been concentric
I live in Madera CA, and my question is who can install my Tremec TKX 5 speed transmission and components in my 65 malibu SS ? I looked up for Tremec installers in the central valley. The transmission shops in this area will not install. I need a reliable installer who knows exactly what they are doing.

Sell them a McCloud bell housing and scratch that step.
We sell those too..And you need to dial them as well.
