I like the calipers black too.. it makes it look more factory and cleaner then bright yellow or something crazy.. that's gonna be such a badass truck!!

I love this build! I grew up riding around on the bench seat of my dad's rclb obs. It was the first vehicle I drove on the street, when I drove home from the DMV after getting my learners permit.
When this truck is done,she will be the very best obs on planet earth!
You're definitely not cutting any corners when it comes to cost, but it shows in each and every way. Just the frame alone is a work of art, let alone what the finished product is going to look like. It's definitely beautiful and I'd bet it's going to work even better. Yes, the stopping power should be insane and so smoooth ! Can't wait to see the mill dropped in and the rest that follows. I can see why you quoted what the final cost was going to be. Too bad you won't be able to see most of this, but that rear end will be visible and that's a work of art in it's self. Keep on trucking on ! 😉 💯 😎

Whats the widest rear tire u can run I feel like the location of ur rear coil overs takes alot of space away from how wide of a tire u can run
I can run a wide enough tire that if I go any bigger it will not fit in the wheel well. Shock isn’t in the way

What brake kit did u use for the front and back and do u have the part number and did u use the stock rear end housing and axles

Question I'm putting on the same Qa1 upper and lower control arms with the 2 1/2 " wilwood drop spindles. How did you guys compress the upper and lower control arms together to be able to put on the drop spindles and screw them down. I have no engine just a frame like you guys. I'm on a stand still. Would love your feed back. By the way beautiful build.
This is going to be an awesome build . Quick question. Why did you leave the rear spring hanger . It sticks out like a sore thumb.

How did you guys compress the coil overs and attach the spindle with no engine to weigh the frame down, I’m doing the same on my s10 pickup and I’m stuck, thanks
Loving the build! I know you were joking about getting the engine put in already, but you should definitely mock it up with the transmission to measure for a driveshaft, seeing how nobody can get one in a reasonable time these days. I'd hate to see the project held up for something like that!

What all is done to the 10 bolt to hold up against all the power? I know you mentioned its a truetrac carrier, but what axles and/or other mods are done? Just seeking info for my own swap.
It’s got the Yukon brand hardened axles, Eaton diff and Yukon gear set. C clip eliminators too

So I know you broke down it’s 75k build, you mentioned 100k to sale. I don’t have that kind of money, I’m just curious how you get to that number, I’m not saying it’s over priced I literally have no clue, I’m just curious with your train of thought on it, just looking to learn a little bit.
75k MY cost and MY cost on labor being that I own the shop. It’s also not even done yet. I bet I’ll be another 8-10k in stuff before it’s all said and done.

@@StangkilrProductions I plan on getting the same kit you got for my 97 I got from my poppa he bought it brand new in 97 and I just wanna make it look new and low with a good ride so I definitely think I’m going to get the same kit as you can’t wait to see it finished keep up the great work 💯
