Nice! I’ve been waiting on REKLEZ to finally notice us OBS guys! RideTech has had this same 4/6 drop kit for awhile now with the adjustable shocks and what not, I was really hoping to see a 3 link and Coilover setup for the OBS from you guys.. y’all are the only ones making that an easy swap for people switching over to deep lip billets..88-98’s started the sport truck craze guys what’s up!?? seriously tho keep up the good work 👌🏻 let’s see that 3 link 🔥💯

I have a convertible 1989 GMC 1500 ext. Cab convertible power top that i did myself. I am looking to get air bags on it in the near future. I have done a lot of work to it so far.
I just came across you guys and am very impressed I am working on my truck and ordered maxtrac Flip kit and would like to know what size and length the square style bolts are you use on this truck
If not mistaken that's an adapter and then a spacer on it since the Corvette wheels aren't 5x5 pattern nice set up though.

Is it mandatory to use stock control in order to run the coil over in the front or can I run after market JDM control arms too ?
Question, can I use the adjustable shocks for a 1988 Chevy C1500 you and do you carry shock extenders for that year ?
Another question, I have eyelets on both end of my shocks, so how does that work does QA1 sell the adjustable shocks with both eyelets. Are the QA1 rear shocks that you're using are they 1 adjustable or 2 adjustable . Watched to the end . Thank you God bless
For the front coil over. Dont you think the weight of the truck is alot to be on a shock mount?
Wanted to see if u guys can point me in the right direction did a flip kit and 2” drop shackles and drop shocks with extenders for the shocks but the ride kinda sucks feels soft hopefully you guys can help me out

For the flip kit what size are the u square bolts , and where do I buy them ? I have my flip kit already.
Good info. Have a concern though. Have a 1990 that I've been considering the qa1 coilover complete front set-up & possibly their rear complete coilover set-up as well. Now seeing just the coilover install in this vehicle, if for some reason one lost the bolts to the bottom of the coilover, it would come further down. Not ideal or safe. Currently on my ride, driver stock shock bottom bolts just came undone, but the stock coil maintain the height. Coilovers added to these wether stock control arms or qa1 tube control arms, could be a potential problem that I may consider sticking w/typical drop components. Have people consider this &/or am I missing something?

At 15:10 I noticed the tierods are mounted pointing up, does it make a difference if it's like that?
Its the way the spindle requires it to mount. Not something that we changed.

If they are in good working order you can leave them alone. We always check suspension when we work on a truck. This truck had a good suspension so we just did the drop.

Nice video but if I can suggest when you measure height that instead of going to the floor that you go to the bottom of the rim, you eliminate the tire inflation or any variation, gives a truer measurement, JMHO
Yes thats exactly how we measure. Being such a straight and flat surface wouldn't have variables like from the bottom of the rim. If the tire was low the rim would be lower. By taking a measurement from a level area we can then eliminate any other factor tire pressure, suspension, etc. 👌

I thought coilovers came whit a 4 link suspension at the back or em i confusing it ?
Can be used for both front or back. This kit offers them for the front. Hopefully by the end of the year we will be offering our rear coil over kit for theses trucks.
