    Great idea in placement of drain holes. Did you paint the drilled holes? Looks like another project Thanks Steve

      Yes, painting is the best thing to do after exposing bare metal.

      @@ForceBuiltwhat kind of paint do you use on the bare metal?

    Nice video Steve. I did that to mine when I first bought it. Now you should coat the inside with Eastwood internal frame coating.

      Yeah, that is a good idea. I need to get a little more rocks out and I will be ready to do that. Thanks for watching!

      Great! Yeah, the water has no where to go once it is in the frame. thanks for watching.

    Not the brightest idea. Use a pressure washer drain cleaner. It blasts all the crap out and you don't create one more spot for rust to start.

    • @ForceBuilt

      Well, I totally disagree on this. When you blast, as you say, the crap out. It is still gonna be standing in water. Mine drains the water. Yours will rust first. That is the reason for the drain holes, to get rid of moisture. Just Google it.

    I'm wondering if drilling holes into the frame is legal here in Germany - I'll try to find out!

    • @ForceBuilt
      @ForceBuilt  7 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah, I don't know about being legal in Germany. I don't think anyone would ever know. It is much better than the holes made by having rust in the frame. Thanks for watching!

    Did you find any gold flakes? That is a good tip. I had never thought of that and now I am going to add this mod to my TJ.

    • @ForceBuilt

      No gold flakes lol. Yeah, every TJ needs this I think. Thanks for watching!

    I always spray WD-40 on and on my frame once a year to keep any potential rust at bay. So far, it still looks brand new, but i also don't drive my Jeep in the winter nor is it a daily driver, nonetheless, it definitely helps.
