They really don’t understand what we have in our pantries and I respect that
"if you don't have (ridiculous item you definitely don't have) in your pantry, store bought is fine. " i love them for it tho 😂
It's not about what you have vs they have. They are giving you the ideas and inspiration so you can adapt and make something your own.
(I havent finished the video but) if you have a cup flour a cup milk and an egg you can make pancakes/waffles/crepes and its real tasty
Lmao I know, they're so out of touch. Love them tho
None of these were pantry recipes either (Carla came close!) but who cares 😂
Can we talk about how Chris instinctively translated his kid's incoherent talking for us.
I understood what the kids said except for the show he wanted to watch
That bright back so many memories. My son had a hardcore lisp and what amounted to a speech impediment as a small child that he eventually grew out of, but I had to translate for him until he was about 6-7years old. No one could understand him except me and his mother. I miss those days when my now-adult kids were still my sweet little babies.
It happens when your around kids.
I thought the same thing. Reminds me of when I used to live with my niece, I spent a ton of time around her so me and my sister did translation all the time.

Brad: Yall might have some Frozen waffles
The rest of the BA kitchen: Each of you will have in-season fresh spices, noninstant oats, a pie crust at the ready, and the families sacred yogurt, right?
Not the sacred yogurt!!!! LMAO!
FWIW, Greek yogurt is fairly easy to make and something I regularly make for breakfast for a week. Heat milk to a specific temp, cool it down to a specific temp, add yogurt starter (plain Greek yogurt like Fage), let it sit for a number of hours and strain with cheesecloth and a colander. If you have an instant pot it’s even easier since there is a yogurt setting. Pie crust is a staple in my freezer because I can also use it to make an easy calzone or cheap spanakopita. Pie crust is just ice water, cold butter, and flour so it’s also something that can come together quickly if you want to make it (and have any flour)
You don’t got flour, butter, sugar, cinnamon, and salt in your house??? You can make bakery style palmier cookies with just that
Lol, just take the like 😂
A man of the people Brad is
Idk about y’all but Andy adjusting all his dishes before he humbly confessed to “eating ice cream everyday for 7 weeks” just hit right
😂👏
I like that Chris is a nice tidy calm an relaxed person while his sons are the complete opposite and are absolute anarchy.
I have to assume that Christ must have been like that as a kid and just learned to focus all that energy into his intenseness/cooking 😂
Of course, they're kids.
two bananas!
The similarities between Chris’s children and Brad as a grown man are proof he is a man child
It's just the way many kids are :) They have so much energy, a drive to have fun and fool around, a joie de vivre!
I humbly request BA to get The Dads, Chris and Brad, to partner up with their kids and cook up "side by side". Like maybe their kids' own favourite food or whatnot. I just wanna see chaos and charm HAHAHA
I AGREE
I'm for this idea... it would be super cute to see.
YESSSSS. No strict rules tho. Brad's kids are kinda young so assists are more than okay, imo.
I really want to see Chris do a reverse engineering episode where his sons pick out the recipe and judge him.
The PB&J will definitely be on the menu for brads kids
List of things that Chris lets his kids have two of:
- Nothing
maybe 2 bananas
Maryam A FTW! You were paying ATTENTION!!!! BRAVA!
I'm convinced Andy is living with a sugar daddy who doesn't know he's an internet king
Can I just say I melt like that coffee ice-cream whenever he’s on? He’s ADORABLE,
This has me rolling lol
Same I was like "ooo is that a Man's I hear in the Background?"
That sparkle effect at the beginning of his part lol
Andy is the one bringing the sugar
Why is no one talking about how *embarrassed* Andy was to admit he likes normal ice cream lmao
Also why’s he whispering.
Blink
Twice if you need saving ANdy!
was prob his go to munchies snack back in the day lmao
It's not that he's embarrassed about eating ice cream. There's certain controversy in regard to Breyer's commercial that some people can't let go and that's why says he is embarrassed. Personally I like Breyers, I think they make really good ice cream.
Okay, I'll be that guy - it's the fact that it's no longer Breyer's ICE CREAM. They used to pride themselves on being all natural, with milk, cream, sugar, and natural flavorings like vanilla bean or strawberry, but in 2006, they were bought out by the conglomerate corporation Unilever, the same company that owns Dove and Hellman's and Lipton. They made radical changes so that their ice cream cut way back on the milk and cream and to compensate, they added a bunch of thickening agents like carrageenan and guar gum to imitate the more solid texture of frozen cream. They substituted so much that they are no longer legally allowed to label it as ice cream and now it is "Breyer's Frozen Dairy Dessert" (seriously, go check out the label the next time you're in the supermarket - their main line no longer qualifies to be called ice cream now).
@@TheYakusoku Wow I had no idea about that, that's kind of crazy
I just have to say to the entire BA team, thank you so much for letting us into your homes. It may have not been super comfortable letting us I to your personal lives like you have. I’m sure I speak for many when I say, the BA content is super comforting so it is greatly appreciated that you guys were able to an unprecedented situation and turn it into innovative, interesting content.
This 100% absolutely. We love these guys already, before all this happened, and this has only made us appreciate them even more!
I wholeheartedly agree with that! I’ve actually been thinking about that too. They really have just “rolled with it”. I think I may actually like this version of BA so much, that I’m going to miss it when everything goes back to normal.
Amen!!
Agreed!!! This has been such homey comforting content that I so appreciate
Yes!!! I was just thinking how, when I used to watch Food Network (back when I had cable. And a TV.) I used to cringe when the FN producers incorporated their hosts' family lives into their over-scripted episodes. To me, it was the exact opposite of organic. It was the exact opposite of BA.
Ricky is so underrated I wish people would talk about his brilliance too
Omg I know!!! I just made his dessert recipe and it is the best dessert I've ever made!!!!
He’s the first one a actually tried his recipes
He’s truly great and it’s amazing he bring his roots into his cooking! it’s beautiful to watch
Rick is one of my absolute favorites!
He’s everything ❤️❤️❤️
Production: so Delany the challenge today is to mak....
Delany: im doing a cocktail.
He could make me that cocktail!
Then Brad came up, *"DELANEY!"* ✌
Brad is so into delicate flavours yet has such a boisterous personality
Eye just wish he would put an f in front of the ar on that shirt

How much saffron did Priya use 😯😯😯🤯🤯🤯🤯
For once Brad had maybe the most relatable pantry items: frozen waffles, yogurt, frozen fruit, honey
A !! Brad with frozen waffles lecturing us about using table salt... oh the irony!
I was just about to say that nothing was fermented but I quickly forgot yogurt is fermented

César Rondón it’s his brand

i feel like brad is the only one who nailed this challenge. i don’t have miso, pie dough, or cardamom. i do have toaster waffles.
I actually have miso, pie dough and cardomom but not toaster waffles :(
He was absolutely hilarious!
I think Molly did pretty good. Raspberry, ice cream, and Oreos are pretty popular things for someone who likes sweets.
It’d be cooler if you did ;)
To be fair, Priya's dish was pantry food, just an Indian panty. :P And Molly's was good too!
Carla was like: this is for the cottage core lesbians
I’m screaming at this comment
She really was! I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought this lmao

Right!?! I LOVE Priya’s relationship with her parents. So much pride and affection

Let's be real: how does Chris feel that his son is basically Brad? He is raising a Brad.
Well, now he knows what to expect when they grow up. 😅💖
I'm dying 🤣🤣🤣
The thing is... it's not that his son is Brad. His son is just a regular little boy. The thing... Brad is also just a regular little boy whose body somehow grew up.
It's not that his toddler is Brad, it's that Brad is pretty much a toddler
I am HOWLING
How about "BA's Kids in the Kitchen": have Brad's, Carla's and Chris' kids make easy snacks with their parents

I feel like Chris' kids are on the edge of a revolution and all started with the "one banana rule"
Poor kids only allowed one banana and one cookie? C'mon! Live a little.
That's how the French Revolution started - Marie Antoinette let them eat cake, but only one slice.
The next video is just going to be them giggling in front of the camera where Chris should be
