My coffee making a choice follows Delaney and Chris exactly. however my mug choices kind of in between the two of them. I prefer a mug that has a lot of sentimental value.

Claire is the only one who is doing this realistically. At 2 o’clock with all the good tools but none of the patience.
But the best part it, all of their recipes feel realistic in regards to them. We, the audience, are just not as sophisticated as Chris or as crazy as Molly, that's why it feels a bit alien.

Claire eyeballs lots in Gourmet Makes, but the final look has to be perfect. You will note that the color of her coffee was the perfect beige that she likes. In fact, it is always the perfect shade of Pantone 467 C, where C is of course short for claire.
Made Sohla's version tonight. I'm never making another White Russian with vodka ever again. Her Bourbon version is SO good! Super good!
try coffee liqueur, bailey's irish cream and bourbon/vodka. White Russian was my fav drink until I tried that.

Claire's technique was just painful, i feel this comment u-u i'd still die for her tho
30 grams coffee. 450mg of water input out put of brew is 380-400mg if coffee. Wet paper filter on the hario v60 along side with the serving carafe dump water out. 90grams of water pour 45 second wait. 2nd pour 90 grams 45 seconds wait (repeat 3 more times until 5th pour adding 90 grams of water per pour and water input is 450 grams) 5th pour wait until it's done dripping. Add 50 grams of water into the brewed coffee to dilute the strength.

I've noticed that cinnamon/ginger are much more polarizing chai ingredients amongst my fellow south asians lol. honestly cardamom is THE chai spice. it's so fantastically fragranced, I've never heard anyone say they prefer chai without it!

I perform Claire's method (sans milk) with Chris's confidence and authority.
In case anyone was wondering, when Claire mentioned a temperature where "it's hot but you can gulp it", i find that between 120-130 Fahrenheit or 49-54 Celsius. 120 is very warm but can be gulped fast, 130 requires you to slurp the drink slower so you don't burn your mouth but is definitely do-able
