Chris to his wife: I made you lunch
Brad to his wife: *Your arms are hurting??!*
🤣
i laughed, he even shook his head 🤣🤣 Brad will be Brad
She is a great camerawoman, arms hurt, but the image is clean
She knew who she married.
I assumed it was Brad's kid. 🤣
"I'm now the lunch lady, that's another thing that has happened to me. Children. Do you want some pasta? Okay come." She has the driest tone ever when she says "children" and it;s golden!
I scrolled just to see the comments on her HILARIOUS clip. This is perfect.
I would love to see everyone’s origin story on how everyone ended up at BA
Sabrina Fannin yyyyeeess!!
Sohla was hired by Chris, that much I know. Gabi was originally a kitchen assistant, and then she progressed.
Test Kitchen: Origins
@@SkazkiPeredSnom Gabby was hired by Brad, then took his job as Kitchen Manager after he went freelance
Chris worked at Vogue, left for culinary school, and returned to get an editor position at Bon Appetit. Both of these magazines are owned by Conde Nast and he said he fell in love with BA as he passed their offices all the time.
"It's a fine line between online schooling and just online"
Carla, I feel attacked.
Lol and her son goes "good one"
When Chris said “tossy tossy”. He definitely miss Brad
I remember Delany saying he once saw Chris talking to his son on the phone and pretending to be a dinosaur. What an amazing man.
HamRib Art where! when! I need this!
@@michikomanalang6733 I think it was when they were on Ellen's Burning Questions!
After seeing Chris's kids, his friendship with Brad makes so much sense.
THANK YOU! I was hoping someone would have made this observation.
😂🤣💗
💖💖💖
You juat killed me, just fyi
All the moment Chris rolls his eyes at Brad totally makes sense now!
Carla's children are delightful and you can tell how much they like being around her. I've always found Morocco endearing, but when he's with his kids my heart melts.
I love “you want some pasta? Come”
That outro though, "I will be respected!!" cracks me up
Chris "I will be respected"
His kids "start screaming"
Chris: smiles lovingly
Omg this is such a mood
I didn’t know I related to Chris until quarantine
Carla should do back to back chef but with her kids
Logistics aside I'm here for this.
Yes Lol
That’s brilliant
that's a great idea!
I'd watch that.
Chris yelling "I will be respected!" while his children are screaming is something Claire would yell while him and Brad are misbehaving.
I'd buy a t-shirt with that slogan...
I want a cartoon of claire screaming that at brad and chris
Except the Andes episode proves she cant stop them
Chris doesn't misbehave. He just keeps up with Brad. ;)
Gaby KNEW hers was the one people would actually make.
So true! =D
@@josephangelosamonte9601 ikr simple ingredients for lazy people with limited ingredients
It was just like Adam’s, but without the lemon! (But you’re right, of course. I DO make that, with spaghettini, which cooks super-fast. Sometimes I add real bacon bits. SO yummy!!)
it uses all the same ingredients as molly's actually. black pep, pasta, butter, cheese.
the aglio e olio Carla and Chris made was easy as well
You know Chris's children eat their veggies. You just know it.
And bananas
they're 100% going to have a difficult time in school...
- what does that suppose to mean
he said in the variety show that he has to cook multiple meals for each dinner bc they don't like so many foods
Well yeah, they have Chris Friggen Morocco making it for them!
They should do a game like telephone! So someone starts a recipe, and after they finish they explain it to the next person, after they finish they explain it to the next person, etc etc, then compare how the dish started vs how it ended !
I can imagine the disaster
Omg I love this
This is a wonderful idea!!
this would be so amazing!!
YES
Chris being the calmest man in the world is explained by his children being so chaotic. It's great.
His kids are not idiots .. its just the meme. But the owl ... thats Chris haha
I know, right?
My theory: cannibis. He says 'nugs' a lot hahaha
priya being scared of her mom while cooking in the kitchen despite being a pro chef is the most Indian thing ever
don't matter how great of a chef you are ya mom always low-key better
I mean, she isn't a chef, she is a food journalist, if I'm correct the only person who has ever been a chef in the test kitchen was sohla, she was chef/owner at a restaurant in Brooklyn.

Everyone: makes pasta with 7+ ingredients
Gaby: pasta, cheese, and butter
🥺 luv her
The actual pasta I'm gonna make. Also, maybe the Claire one because I have chickpeas
I'm not sure if this is a Latina thing, but that pasta Gaby made was my mom's go-to when I was sick as a kid and didn't have an appetite!
She has the best laugh hands down
I would watch Gaby teach me how to boil water and I would love it
M Thomas I eat butter noodles and parm like all the time even as an adult lol it’s so easy
Chris Morocco is definitely the dad who is not well versed in meme culture but would say "yeet" once in a while to keep up with the kids.
Thats soo true!
ToastBot i read “yeet” in his voice too hahahha
Lmfaooooo
🤣🤣🤣
pls dad just ... no. stop it !
“Drink my wine and accept the criticism” should be the official mantra of all adult children social distancing with their parents.
WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT CHRIS SAYING “TOSSY TOSS” LIKE BRAD
i think i didn't notice bc he didn't say it in his accent. tawssy tawse.
Welllll... lots of them say it at times. I still notice, but yeah. It happens.
I was screaming while watching it. TOSSY TOSS? Chris??
I hade the same reaction
I heard the Bradness
Carla: “there’s like a fine line between online schooling and just online”

Delaney: "I hate a fancy coffee mug"
Also Delaney: Using a Le Creuset mug when he thinks we aren't looking
You're busted, bud
it was chiped so not fancy
The worst thing is... a le creuset mug isn’t even really that fancy compared to a ‘fancy coffee mug’.
It hasn’t a special size, diameter, cup shape and lip thickness designed to highlight certain notes of coffee, that you need like 5 different shapes of to highlight different things, all costing a small fortune and often extremely delicate so there is a relatively high risk of breaking one.
Don’t get me wrong a le creuset coffee is probably a high quality super nice mug.
But the world of coffee lovers are just impressively enthusiastic about coffee and anything connected to the drinking experience.
(With that said I may have crystal glasses in my cupboard designed just with the purpose of making Coca Cola taste the best it possibly can, it actually makes a surprisingly big difference)

Seeing Chris interact with his kids is a revelation. He's one of the more serious types of all of the BA chefs, and his opinions and input are clearly valued and respected by everyone, but seeing him with his kids is just so... weird. Kinda like when you're a kid and you see your teacher outside of school. That kind of feeling. He seemed like he'd be the loving but aloof and stern dad, but he's really warm and playful with his kids, which is so surprising, but also refreshing.
I think Chris is the kind of person who acts according the kind of people he's around. When he's alone or around someone like Rapo, he's usually calm and serious. Throw Brad into the fray or like the children in this video, Chris goes rogue. And I love it.
"Hey, what's up"
@@laneofmagic So Chris is definitely the dad of the BATK? Rapo is the boss but he is more of the cool uncle that lets you have a sip of his cocktail when you're like 8.
laneofmagic the fact that Brad and kids get the same reaction says something about brad
Stanley Wilcox I’m not as shocked seeing Brad with his kids. He really seems like the cool, hands on dad whose kids will grow up having him as a best friend. With Chris I thought he was going to be loving but a little aloof and stern, but it’s the exact opposite and I kinda love it.
“No spoons...o-okay so there’s one spoon.”
Lmao I died 😂😂😂
Priya: "is that good?"
Father of Priya, with a plethora of pasta in mouth: "Derurururus!"
Carla’s Snapchat joke and her son’s response earned an instant like, lol.
I nearly melted when he came to pick up the pasta and said "thanks mom". Carla raised some good boys that's for sure.

Hahaha then there’s Brad who has two kids and crazy chaotic energy 😂😂
PsychedelicLei brad just matches the kids energy instead
Yeah if he is smacking his elements to get it working he probably has a loose connection, he should pull the element out and check before it shorts out and causes more damage. A little fix now vs a big repair later.

Andy: There's only seven ingredients, really easy.
Gaby: It's pasta with butter and cheese.
Almaseti lolol
Honestly, that was me as a kid. It was mac and cheese or just buttered pasta when everyone else was eating chop suey which I hated.
Honestly there were 3 "cacio e Pepe" style dishes, Gaby's the only one thats being honest about how lazy we all are, and how much effort were willing to put into a bowl of pasta 😂
pasta with pesto (out of a glas)

Rachel Hopkins i feel like I’ve used that exact stove, down to be uneven hobs and janky lighters. Nothing like worrying about a gas explosion to make your cooking feel more exciting!

Sohla: doesn’t have macaroni
Also Sohla: has a full platter of crispy shallots
Its ridiculous
that came out of nowhere
ya i mean she's brown lol its pretty useful ingredient for manyyy south asian dishes
unlike macaroni... which is used for making macaroni lol
Koshri requires fried onions but any kind of pasta will do .. Sometimes we put two shapes of pasta usually spaghetti and elbows .. Also two kinds of sauces 😂 chili oil and garlic vinegar they are served separately but she combined them into the tomato sauce
crispy shallots can be bought at asian markets in big plastic jars (and im sure indian markets as well after watching :). they also have dried sliced shallots and dried sliced garlic and its cheaper than fresh and tastier than powdered.
Chris's kid is a smaller, wilder version of himself!

Chris about to boil pasta: *measuring out 200 grams of pasta per person*
Rei J. Actually, a 100 g but.... 😋😉
I just realize that I’m Chris!
They did this once, but everyone besides Brad cheated so it didn't really count, but I really wish BA would do a "chefs measure things without measuring tools". A table spoon, a 100g of pasta, 1 cup etc. Doesn't need to be a recipe or anything, literally just lay out on the board, then compare to a reference.
Claire periodically bending down to look in the camera/get in frame 🥺 love her with my whole heart

I jut realised, Carla could STILL do Back-to-Back Chef! The whole concept is someone only having her voice. They could contact a guest, give them a list of common pantry ingredients and tools to set up their station - and Carla could guide them via audio only. You can do crispy onions (better compromise)
She’s not wrong though. If you just want a warm filling meal, no shallots is fine, but if you want koshari it has to have the shallots. But you can certainly replace with onions, thinly sliced, light dusting of flour, shallow fry. That’s actually more common than shallots. Red onion is ideal

The day Chris doesn’t keep a spoon on hand, the world will fall.
kale: *sizzles*
Carla’s son: my heart FLEW OUT OF MY HEAD
This kind of comments look crazy to me

Little Arlo it is when you can’t actually see what the person looks like

Hannah Cate Silver oh yessssss
Andy's lemon pasta is really incredible stuff! I'm so glad I made it, I'll definitely be making it again.
Carla's KID is EVERYTHING I love him. He seems so confident and well-behaved.
And then you have Chris and Brad with their little cranky goblin kids (no offense it's obviously a joke they are super cute)
And then there's the pet parents.
I love that everyone is all excited then Andy philosophically drops, "It always amazes me that in the darkest months we get the brightest...", then that long soulful look at the "thing". Hitting me in the feels with the truth.
Where???
☝Another Awsome sause BA Chef quote. @BA u r writing these down eh?
Brad is rubbing off on Chris. Chris is saying things like "tossy-toss" and "glossy sauce"
