    Its a nice machine and looks great. Doing 12000 miles a year in commuting alone though I'm sticking to my xmax 400. The lack of storage is a dealbreaker which is a shame.

    Informative and entertaining video guys! You answered a big question for me. I’m looking for a scooter with more of a sit down in feel to the seating position rather than what seems to be the more common on top of seating style so thanks for including that observation. I’m liking this scoot even more now. Here in the US we only get the 150cc version but I’m going to have to check one out. 👍

    Great review as always and very tempted to purchase one but my concern is Royal Alloy's history of failing Speedos. Some owner' have commented on having upto 2 or 3 replacements being required on previous models.

    Gentlemen the RA it is splendid indeed pretty much fine. I wonder if could be to elevate the handlebar up to 1,10 Meters ?? I had several Lambrettas and now one Vespa old fashion PX150. Its handlebar height is 1, 10 meters. Very comfortable to ride on it. I found excellent the Lambrettas but their handlebar is lower. All the best and success with the Royal Alloy 300.

    I've been mulling over this vid since you first posted it.
    One thing I don't understand is that you seemed to really like the RA GP300. However, with the TG300 - which is basically the same machine, but just a styling exercise, I get mixed messages about the bike.
    Is it possible to explain a little bit more as to why please?

    • @motorsforthemasses
      @motorsforthemasses  3 года назад +1

      Really? I can't see how we were sending mixed messages to be honest. There were positives and negatives over the GP. Good as in lower seat so riding was more comfy for me but as Malc sits further back, the seat hump got in his way a little. The ride itself as good as the GP. The clock being all LCD was different, nicer but some bits were harder to read.

      Deca B I've been in to bikes and scooters my whole life. My dad also and whilst I used to ride around on my Vespa he'd laugh and say he'd stick to his bikes( he's had cbr's, bonnevilles, tritons, thundercats) he also has a Vespa now and he concedes it's a totally different thing but enjoys it nonetheless. I get why you wouldn't like them though. When I get off my trail bike and on to the Vespa it's truly terrifying in comparison

      @hanwayglobal1222 3 года назад +1

      The TG is our flagship model. Tigara is a North American Inuit word
      meaning ‘point’, Grande means big or impressive, so the Tigara Grande
      is our big point!
      And the point is this - we made what we believe to be the best scooter
      in the business, our concept was in fact inspired by an iconic machine
      from 1960.
