- Should you buy a used Royal alloy GP200 ? The Grand Prix 200 has the old school classic looks that I absolutely love. I’ve previously found the 125cc version to be a bit slow and sluggish so I was really interested to see how this compares. Doncaster Hunters are a well respected scooter club. They started in 1970. They were a hard core Lambretta club with the odd Vespa for years. They are still getting the miles in.

Love this bike, got myself a GP300 recently. Boy oh boy, it's quick 😳. This was bit of a surprise, the speedometer once showed 154 kmh. I absolutely did not expect that. Runs well and feels very krisp and sporty.
The 300’s are my favourite. Loads of fun.
I've got the GP300 it's quick but you ain't doing a 154 kph no chance😂 Mine will do 80mph top
It's a cracking scooter, pulls well, handles well and very comfortable

I agree. The extra power this has over the 125 makes it a big yes. 👍
Had a Vespa GTS300 Super hpe a few years ago, lovely bike but new now have gone up tremendously. They’re over £6k now, which I feel is way too much.
I agree. Very expensive for a new one. But you can get some really good used ones and save a bit of cash.
I’ve just picked up a GP125 LC in white from In2moto. Red bench seat, ex demo with a Scorpion exhaust. You may have seen it in the shop ? So far so good. I’m just running it in, but I can already tell it will go way over 60mph and likely push 70. Love it.

You're not sitting on a hot engine.

Nice looking scooter. Currently run an old lml 125, but if upgrading would definitely look at something like this.

Last time I was in In2moto they had a couple of used ones. I’m a big fan of these. I love the looks. If you can get a low mileage, used one you can save a bit of cash.

Depends on the style you’re into. Personally I like the 125 Lambretta’s, they look nice and they have decent performance as well. Thats probably what I would buy if it had to be a 125.

Sorry, pardon for me asking - but - does this bike have metal bodywork, rather than plastic ?
Plus, just a couple of other points:- was there a USB socket hiding in the glove-box and I spotted chrome 'ABS' badges - is there single-channel ABS ? Many thanks.
Yes there is a USB charger on the GP, the ABS is DUAL CHANNEL made by Bosch

Been looking at this on their website. Had a few different bikes but find myself without at the minute. My daughter has asked to come for a ride, do you think this would be suitable?

Are all the models twist & go
I’ve only ever seen these as Rev and go. To be honest they are better for it. Comfortable and relaxing to ride

I watched Quadraphenia as a kids and ever since always wanted a Vespa / Lambretta. These are really similar. I’ve never had one. Very tempted though.

Great channel thanks for sharing these scooters, I'm riding Vespa and a Gilera VXR 200 at the moment, I love the look of these scooters especially the GP 200, lot's of my friends in the scooter club have those Ktf J 🛵
That’s my aim for the next year. I definitely need to buy a scoot and join a scooter club 👍
