- Hello All,
This is not a paid Ad! I did a day’s filming for ‘Your Insurance’ and i just loved the piece they put together i wanted to share it with you all.
I feel like i covered some interesting points and would just like to know your opinion on it?

Thank you for stepping up and being a voice and a fantastic inspirational role model.
Great stuff. Trades are not promoted because of the ludicrous snobbery and class structure which still pervades this country. The upside being that the more people go to university and don’t enter the trades, the more specialised our skills become, and ultimately, the more valuable to those that need work done. Just having an articulate young woman like yourself making erudite observations in an interview is so refreshing. More power to your elbow.

Had a female bricklayer as a teacher at college in the 80s. She had worked for her brother but said opportunity was limited elsewhere. I think if you are thick skinned and can take jokes aimed at you as a female trade person no reason to not go into the building trade. It applies to young blokes as well but female's may have more jokes aimed at them by older blokes as a guess

Your right about school they push for education and don't show any better alternatives such as bricklaying which in my opinion is top trad 🧱👊🏻
