lost 4-5 kg just doing jump rope every single day + running 2-3 km per day. been doing this for 3 weeks! cheers brother from Jakarta, Indonesia. Love your video and I hope all people will benefit jump rope and get inspired from your channel
I did this work out in a fasted state a few times now and I gotta say I love it. Nice bit of variation so it doesn't get boring and you feel like you got your whole body covered with the exercises. A bit more for the back would be nice, but that's just being super picky. Thanks for your great work, JRD Team. 💜

I’m moving this upcoming weekend and have been concerned with how I’ll stay in shape in a new environment. I’ll be focusing on my jump rope for the first few months. That being said this will be a circuit I definitely plan to start next week. Thank you for your dedication and inspiration.
Love the content! Constantly on the fence between workouts, splits, full body, calisthenics, kettlebell, want strength, muscle, tone etc i end up doing nothing but today with aiming to do better be better i just went in with this no questions asked got it done… feel great! With a stressful week having my camera equipment stolen I just needed something i didn’t have to think about that i can go hard with 🔥🔥 Think il commit to 30days of this to get in the rhythm
Glad you like the channel and thanks for the support! That sounds hella stressful sorry to hear about the theft but I'm glad a little jump rope therapy helped. Keep doing the thing 💪🏻
Bro… I’ve been on and off on jump rope… it’s you who inspired me to pick it up, and somewhere I got the sense of being a child and enjoyed working out… then I stopped due to work timings… I used to come by RUclips and you continued to post… I felt guilty because my transformation earlier was the best; physically and mentally. I was so secure in my skin… then I turned to alcohol and stopped taking care of myself… now I’m back again to jumping rope and losing the fat slowly… 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
Thanks for sharing. I feel your struggle, and you should be damn proud that you're still going!! 💪🏻 I think you know what you got to do now, and you've already done it before - DO THE THING!! Keep me posted!
Switched this one up today, and replaced 4 of the JR sets in each 15 min with 44# Russian KB swings. Got me like 120 swings across this 15 min workout twice. Nice change up
Loved the super sweaty & cardio work outs...I really enjoyed the variations ...& the jump rope tricks & body weight....Thank you Dan... btw I diid it 2 rounds....Yes..Loved from Surabaya -Indonesia
Did this workout in a well, not completely fasted state after coming off a 24hr fast. Bone broth(chicken), hand full of pecans and raspberries. Completed this workout 3 times. Solid workout overall.
Always enjoy your programs I have been jumping for a while but still having trouble doing other jumps like boxer skip, toetap etc. Can you do additional training videos.
This is my first workout after my 1 month rest from COVID. Went as well as expected after the recovery month. I think my mitochondria have healed and are making power as designed. Will see as the day goes, but so far, so good.
@@JumpRopeDudes some long COVID symptoms seem to be from mitochondrial damage. They make the power every cell uses for everything. COVID infections over stress them and can damage them (probably) permanently. So the person never recovers.
I'm so addicted to jump rope now..... Like I can do 500 reps at a go... But I still can't do double unders, side swings , and other skills... Thanks a lot
Thank you very much for the content guys. You are the reason i switched from jogging to skipping rope. Skipping is actually fun as hell, some times lol. But 2 months ago i used to skip and then i felt something like a muscle tear or something(not sure what it was) around the back end of my ankle. Stopped for a while and started skipping again today. Do these type of injuries happen a lot and how can i prevent them?
Thanks! Is there such a think as pull day skip routine where shipping is integrated into a chest shoulder workout even if it's body weight or just dumbell?
Yup! I'm working on a new dumbbell program now that has that type of split that's similar to a traditional weight lifting, push/pull day training style. It's going live in the JRD app on nov 24!! www.jumpropedudes.tv
Hi - ive just download your Ap. Been skipping for 8 weeks now. I just wanted to know is there a special workout for 62 year olds?! should i be aiming for 500 jumps a day to lose weight?. when at the moment i can only do 250? and nothing fancy like this above!! i need to lose weight - at the moment i'm just toning, which still is encouraging. Just want to know if im doing this right!
Hi, and welcome! You're doing it right, even when you feel like you're not! Take it slow and listen to your body. You want to push yourself to a level of intensity that feels challenging but not overwhelming, rest and recover in between. Check out this video: ruclips.net/video/kDOGb9C5kp0/видео.html You got this! Do the thing! 💪🏻
Day one i got my rope in the mail i was practicing every hour until i hurt myself (common trend when i try something new.) Now i can hardly go a minute with sharp neck pain. Im not jumping high or rotating my shoulders. I wanna continue but i feel i may be hurting myself more than helping. I know i should start slowly but i want instant progress!
The lesson is that there is NO instant progress. Jumping rope is a very humbling exercise sometimes lol, please listen to your body and hopefully you'll be back doing the thing pain-free!
Question about JRD weighted ropes: are the handles weighted too or only the rope count towards the 1/2 or 1/4 pound they usually use in their videos? If the handles are weighted too, what is the distribution between the handles and the ropes for 1/2 and 1/4 pound? Tried looking around their site but couldn't find this info.
Hey there, i have a complexion.... I really really struggle with push ups as a teen and my core strength is way too weak so can you pls suggest some ways to build core strength as soon as possible??
Plank or elevated push ups so they're a little easier while you build your strength up should help. Here's a good ab workout to try: ruclips.net/video/f-7doZoDqu8/видео.html
The point of fasting is literally the component of time restricted eating. Meaning it matters more when you eat rather to what you're eating. People start losing weight by changing their time frame while still eating unhealthy amounts. At least that's what I got from all the information out there
I'm not sure, does your head hurt during other forms of exercise? If it's a bad headache try to see a doctor and get checked out. If you're a beginner, you might like this video on how to start jumping rope, just in case it's your form or technique: ruclips.net/video/kDOGb9C5kp0/видео.html Hope it helps!!
This varies a lot by your height, weight, and metabolism. You can do a search for calorie tracker estimates for a jump rope workout for YOUR body size if you want an idea of how many calories you burned.
I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and but some of the ropeless crossrope it's already to cold for me to go outside and Jump rope in New york and rn my living room has limited space
I hear ya... There's a 60 day money back guarantee for Crossrope. In my opinion it delivers a top tier experience that feels like a proper jump rope workout, minus the rope.
