@@StudioHacks All great DAWs...I use Logic Pro X, FL Studio 20, Reason 10, and SO4. I've been making beats for a minute. Just purchased Logic Pro X last month and I'm loving all of the features. My only gripe was doing my drums (Hard to beat FL Studio's piano roll) I just use a sampler now and it's a breeze. LPX is awesome.

Hi there, I randomly stopped at this tutorial and I loved it. You explain very nicely everything. I tried this awesome hack for the imprint of the MIDI made from the Arpeggiator, but it doesn't seems to do the job with me. Instead of imprinting the actual random notes, it imprints the same chords otes like I'm just duplicating the region. Can you help me please? Is there something additional I need to do with the Midi Studio? I see that yours have "New External Device" connected to your UCX. I don't have that.

All I want to do is load a string of chords and broken chords and organize them for play back on my keyboard. But logic is so complicated; so here technology failed cuz I have to do it the old fashioned way and play the chords and broken chords by hand, LAME!!!

I wish the Arp tool in Logic had a custom note order though. The presets are good but having more control would be better. Thanks for the video.

So since Serum has no arpeggiator, couldn’t I add this as a midi effect to serum?
Logic is the arpeggiator, Serum is just the sound source...and you're good to go!
